  1. Loving the diversity this season. But, three express passes to one team? Seems kind of excessive.
  2. Agreed, there was a high percentage of people metaphorically tripping over themselves during the reveal.
  3. During that car chase, I bet while everyone else was watching the car, Torontonians were looking at everything *but* the car. It got me wondering if Data's line of genetic scientists are actually related to Khan, but changed their names slightly to distance themselves. I almost thought La'an was inspired to do it herself after Kirk's comment. I still wonder if that might happen in some Trek show in future. Not just the last few days. She was coming to a place where she could reconcile her heritage and maybe arrive at some peace some day. Lots of conflicting emotion there. So was the Romulan agent there the same time as the temporal agent from Voyager? Good thing Toronto and LA are so far apart. And finally, so Kirk learned chess from his XO, who wasn't Spock. I wonder if it was Una.
  4. If you "get" Monty Python and Kids in the Hall, you have a shot at "getting" Jimbo.
  5. And Vespi's the next to go. Honestly, I was more invested in Piche's emotions over Vespi's ouster than in Vespi herself. Punani seems to have gotten over Rose's elimination pretty quickly; I presume Piche will be similarly fast-healing.
  6. Loved Kandy basically saying she did the same thing to Alexis that Alexis did to LaLa. Kandy got a big boost from her lesbian sister this week. I'd say Kookie earned this win. It was so great to see Priyanka. And yes, bitch she did slay that lipsync, thank you very much. I was shocked that Kandy didn't get rid of Jimbo. Yes Jessica is competition too, but clearly Jimbo is the biggest threat. Kandy does not strike me as a "I want to beat the best" kind of girl, so I do wonder what she was thinking. Maybe she really does honour her (openly acknowledged) alliances after all.
  7. The way he fell on that pipe, and the sound it made, suggested to me there was some kind of protrusion that went straight into his brain, and that's what killed him. Since the brain was punctured Negan didn't need to do anything more to ensure he stayed dead.
  8. Could just be all the boats are gone and they have to wait for another to come along, assuming someone else is crazy enough to come to the island. The similar ages of Maggie's son and Negan's pseudo-daughter, along with the fact that they're teenagers, suggests a romance may develop between them, further complicating the animosity between the parents.
  9. Anastarzia and Kimora from Canada's Drag Race will be competing!
  10. For anyone who hasn't heard, Anastarzia Anaquway and Kimora Amour will be competing in Amazing Race Canada starting tomorrow (July 4), so head on over to that forum to discuss their cross-country fabulousness.
  11. I read in some article that Hilltop 2.0 is somewhere in NY or NJ. Mind you, that doesn't seem any more credible than Ginny's cross-country trek. It seems unbelievable that they couldn't settle somewhere closer to Hilltop 1.0 than having to traipse 400 miles north before a feasible option presented itself.
  12. I guess at some point she learned about Ginny's Dino, can't recall when that happened. It's like she knows Ginny's around, but she doesn't want that kid distracting Negan from helping her find her kid. But I guess Ginny's about to whistle... So the Croat is mining walkers for methane and using it to power the city? As well as using them as a low-rent substitute for 'shrooms? I want to hear about this science.
  13. One of them is devoted to the Fame Games, so really it's one more plus the finale. I'm betting there will be a surprise save ("Kandy, I'm not ready for you to go!") and it will be a 3-person finale. Although what a gag it would be if Kandy wins next week and eliminates Jimbo. If that happens, Jessica better win.
  14. Ditto on Moon, she's my vibe. That was one of the worst choices for a lip sync song I've ever heard. Both the girls were struggling with that one. Sorry to see Rose go, I liked her, hope it doesn't mess Punani up too much.
  15. You just know that this was a Star Trek thing, scientists working on a way to extend life.
  16. I would watch Daryl and Carol (especially since I love Carol when she's not moping, and hopefully that's done), but Daryl alone is boring. His character is a reactor. He has always hung around in the background until someone needs him to do something. He doesn't drive the action. The strong, silent type on a mission could work, but the strong, silent type just wandering around? Nah. The Daryl show could succeed if he has good scene partners he can react to, but that success would come in spite of Daryl's character, not because of him. I'm debating not watching, but if Melissa McBride comes back to any of the shows, the most likely would be this one, so I'm considering watching so that I'm not behind if/when that happens.
  17. I wonder if she has enough self-awareness to realize that. I understand how and why people who are part of a perceived underclass will decide to be over-the-top confident in order to shake their ass at the haters, and I say go for it. Fuck the haters. It's only when they don't realize they're also hurting good, decent people that it starts to bother me.
  18. I think he was rightly horrified by that guy killing the old lady for no reason. He wanted revenge on her behalf and he used that feeling to make himself kill the guy the way he did. But yeah, how he holds on to the progress he's made could be interesting.
  19. He remembers Maggie from his time with the Saviors, so my guess is this is personal.
  20. Not if Hershel dies at the end of it. That would make it worthwhile, especially after tonight's scene of teen angst. Seriously, why does the TWD universe think we need kids on every show? I can't think of one that's worth having around. Even Carl was a PITA until he grew up a little, and even then he was still kind of annoying. I'm guessing he was alluding to rape, no? We've seen how distasteful Negan finds it. I know there's those who argue that his forced harem amounts to the same thing, but clearly he thinks there's a difference. Maybe the absence of overt violence? Who knows how he justifies it, but justify it he does.
  21. This really is an interesting case. Watched eps 1,2 last week, looking forward to seeing the final two. Have learned a lot of detail from this journalist fellow. I do wonder if it was some family member or other close contact. I also wonder why the police were so quick to jump to murder-suicide with virtually no investigation. Laziness? Outside influencer?
  22. I don't have access to Untucked, did something happen there that might have prompted Alexis to break her promise to LaLa?
  23. Thanks! Yeah I watched France, I thought Lolita was underappreciated. I don't want to say it's because she was brown, oh oops.
