  1. Sorry to see Kate go, but man did she give Didi a run for her money in that lipsync. Michael was really good with Peter, I'm glad they won.
  2. This was pretty good, glad no one went home. Brooke looks as fabulous as ever. Denim reminds me a little of Willow Pill. Maybe that's just because her style is quirky, and she's small lol. I don't have any favourites yet. The valley speak is strong in this one.
  3. Well, there's "birds of a feather flock together" or "great minds think alike" but they're not specific to romantic attraction.
  4. It would be nice if we kept both. I know the new one from "Jann", where she plays a similar deadpan character. But the cast is getting up there in number if they keep both. I was a little confused how they went from no adoption prospects in sight to the husband being in Emergency to coming home with a baby. Can someone explain what happened there?
  5. End of the season, natch :)
  6. An average episode that yielded several observations for me: Tom is the best hologram yet (even better than Ian, it pains me to say) Ben the physicist has tons more chemistry with physicist Hannah than he ever had with soldier Addison -- in this case it's the opposite of "opposites attract" It's obvious that the mysterious person behind this compromised chip that brought QL back online will turn out to be Hannah (or she's at least heavily involved) Hannah knows the formula to kill the world -- how's THAT going to work out?
  7. Yeah I don't get this either. Troy has a lot of legitimate reasons for being mad at Madison, why did they fabricate this BS?
  8. Ever since this theory floated I kept saying "how would that even happen? When was Alicia ever away from everyone else long enough to have a baby with Troy and no one mentions it?" I keep forgetting that between now and the last time we saw Alicia it's been 7-8 years. Because that time jump was just a stupid way to stick Mo in as a series lead for a while, and I've tried to wipe that from my memory. Not that it should have ever been a reasonable theory, but this kid, Tracy is it?, would only be 6-7 years old. An obvious age difference between character and actor that's even more egregious than with Mo. So thank goodness they at least didn't try to go there.
  9. OK yeah, that was hilarious. And relatable. I saw myself. Except for the part about watching the aftershow segment. I don't do that.
  10. What a mess. I had such high hopes when Madison's return was announced. But these final episodes have been such a disappointment. The writers have done the actors and the audience such a disservice. The only thing that could even partially redeem them is if the rumours of Alicia's death have been greatly exaggerated and we see a reunion between her and her mom. But I'm not holding my breath. I hope Madison can join Daryl and Carol, but I expect she won't survive the end of this show. What a shame. Link please?
  11. The show's good but not quite that good.
  12. You guys watch that aftershow stuff?
  13. Because every once in a while he's successfully challenged by a guest and it's sweet to watch.
  14. Oh that would make sense.
  15. 1. I'm pretty sure he's still alive. 2. Yeah that's wild.
  16. I liked this one, very intense in spots. When Zooey slapped Augie my jaw dropped. And, aw, Alvin looks like a sweetheart. They are really dragging out Susan's storyline, did Sarah have another job somewhere?
  17. Nevertheless, it wouldn't hurt to have a day or two pass during an ad break. Give poor Ben a chance to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom. They're doing it in present-day HQ, people go home in the evenings, come back the next day in different clothes. But when the story comes back to Ben it's like we're not in the next day at all. Is this a quantum thing? Is time passing more slowly for Ben in the past? Addison and the rest of the team live one day for every hour of Ben's leap? It's confusing.
  18. I'm willing to accept that it was able to slide the envelope under the door, since we've seen the walls move. I'll even let them get away with the envelope being unsealed; say, the driver sealed it himself when he picked it up. (Note: I think I'm being very generous here.) But inserting the paper? Walls, ceilings and floors just do not have that level of manual dexterity.
  19. I presumed Daddy Troy has told her boogeyman stories about Madison, Victor, Daniel, etc.
  20. Have we just wasted one of the last few hours coming back around to where we were just before the end of 8a?
  21. I thought it was going to come out that she was the painter and her husband was passing her work off as his own. But then that wouldn't square with the info that he was bribing critics for reviews. So I guess it was a commentary on the sexism of the time keeping talented women sidelined. Definitely an underdeveloped aspect of the episode.
  22. I have to say, I never would have guessed that this season's big bad would be Locarno, of all people.
  23. Also, this wasn't about making/keeping Prince poor, so much as tarnishing his reputation to keep him out of the White House. Presumably that's permanent.
  24. They installed some kind of unapproved controller chip they got from their girlfriend's boss. And it's uploading data to the guy (security breach).
  25. OK I'm...curious about how a house put a piece of paper into an envelope. But I don't imagine we'll get an answer. Other than the house faking Susan's quitting, the rest of the ep was pretty lame. Even Augie's 2001 encounter wasn't very interesting.
