  1. I thought that, too.
  2. This show is SO stupid, but alas, I'm watching it. My boyfriend was on the other couch with his tablet and kept asking me questions about the show, and I just couldn't explain the ludicrousness of it all. "Who are these people (the nannies)? Do they live in the building? Is it apartments? Wait, so they work for people in the building? Why does she have such a small room? Who's this guy?" DUDE, just let me watch!😂
  3. I'm glad to see that someone else feels the way I do. I'm just not interested in another story about a boy who's a brooding, precocious, "misunderstood genius." Literally everyone else's story is more compelling, although I don't understand why Linda bothered with flying across the country to tell her dead boyfriend's parents that she's pregnant with their grandchild if she doesn't want anything from them. Just...don't tell them? Of course they're going to want something from you, Linda. It was broadcast from space that Adriana was going to go into politics as soon as she said she wasn't going into politics. Because we knew in episode one that her grandmother was going to perish in the crash, I was just waiting for her to "decide" that she was going to run for her grandmother's seat. I really like her, though, so I'm glad to see her story develop. Dee Dee's husband is gay, right?
  4. Sweet girl. I'm so sorry. Sending you all virtual non-creepy hugs.
  5. I don't understand what Sean is saying. If he gets rid of Leanne, that means "Jericho" is gone, too, right?
  6. My take on this: There are people who are coming to this story with no game knowledge and don't want to be spoiled with game information ("what happened in the game...") because it can hint at something that could happen later. The Primetimer homepage isn't the boards. It's my understanding that most of the writers for the Primetimer articles are freelancers.
  7. Since there seems to be only about four of us watching this show, I thought I'd just start an all-episodes forum. Season 3 premiered January 20, 2023.
  8. It's almost as if the show is a metaphor for real life.
  9. I didn't read anything about this show before I started it, so I was thrilled to see Anna Torv. (Spoiler for episode two.) "Fringe" is one of my favorite shows ever, and I watch a lot of TV. I have a quote from Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble) tattooed on my arm: "Every relationship is reciprocal. When you touch something, it touches you."
  10. Talking this to Cast talk...

    Wildcat

While it's white savior-y, this documentary absolutely destroyed me. Harry, the former soldier helping to raise the (ridiculously cute) abandoned ocelots, has severe untreated depression and combat-related PTSD. He finds a salvation of sorts in his feline companions. To say I related to him is an understatement. My cats have been a refuge from my crippling depression throughout my adult life. Knowing I had to take care of them kept me alive many times. I desperately wanted Harry to get psychiatric treatment (medication, please!) when he left the jungle, but it didn't seem that he did. Samantha and Harry were so codependent. It pained me to watch them together. She enabled him, and he took his pain out on her. They're much better apart. I really loved Harry's relationship with his family. They all seemed to love each other so much, even if they didn't seem to have the tools or resources to help Harry. I wish I felt better about his future. He needs comprehensive psychiatric help.

Suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, a former soldier develops a bond with a baby ocelot in the jungles of Peru. Released on Amazon Prime Video on December 21, 2022. https://youtu.be/tm-dXwxPRMw
  13. Every time I see "Nutr," I read it as "neuter."
  14. I have an immense fear of bedbugs so I could barely stand to watch this episode. I'm fairly sure Leanne made them happen since she can control bugs and, apparently, birds, right?
  15. Once again, the girls' food (Ziwi Peak, SO expensive) is out of stock at both Chewy and Only Natural Pet. I have about five weeks' worth in the cabinet. I go through this once at least once a year.😩
  16. That gave me chills! I'll have to look that up; thanks!
  17. I live in the Charlotte, NC-metro area. In 2002 or 2003, we had a major ice storm that knocked out power for thousands of people in the area. I didn't have power for six days, long after the ice had melted. It got down to 55° in my apartment, which isn't that cold when you're outside but is frigid when you're inside. Once my two cats and I were in bed and snuggly, it was fine, but it was otherwise unbearable. I had a gas water heater, so I had hot water. I ordered pizza one night and ate it while sitting in a full bathtub.😂
  18. I love how Gwyneth pretended like she didn't know what aerial silks (the "acrobatics") are. There are classes for learning how to use them in my medium-sized city.
  19. I told my boyfriend that Lori was wearing a Count Chocula dress.
  20. There are currently cloth diapers that one uses with a companion leak-proof outer removable layer/bloomer. They've been around for years. How I know this despite having no kids is a mystery.
  21. Exactly this. When she showed up, I thought I knew her and then they talked about her "invention," and I realized who she was. Like she invented the cure for cancer. You mixed gingerbread, water and gum arabic. Calm down.
  22. I enjoyed seeing Pat Ashley (that name🙄) knocked down a peg.
  23. I guess we're going to have a ginormous island in every episode. If you have the room for it, I suppose... I did like the mostly black-and-white color scheme for this week's house. I am scared of color, but the "galaxy" look of the green veining in the island countertop was beautiful. I thought the recessed dog bowl nook was not a good idea. That would be so hard to keep clean, and as we saw, they have two dogs that were trying to eat out of one bowl. It wasn't well planned.
  24. I love this show because I don't have to think at all when I watch it, but that also means that I start to pick apart the holes. Like in the clothing swap, I guess we're pretending that Leighton's clothes would fit Kimberly without being taken in. No shade, because I would love to be Leighton's size. Kimberly is tiny, though. Also, I don't think you can transfer if you have a 1.8 GPA. Maybe you can go to community college and try to raise your GPA, and then transfer back in, but laterally, no. I cracked up when Leighton's mom said the other Kappa alum was a dumb whore. I love her parents (who are my age [cough]).
