  1. Every time there's a dramatic trailer for next week (which is pretty much always, because that's what trailers do...) I'm convinced they're killing off Kitty. If I'm eventually right, I'm going to be very sad.
  2. Squee! I've been a huge Jonathan Tucker fan since The Black Donnellys.
  3. Eh, that seemed a little off to me... the Bodens looked like they needed some privacy to digest the bad news/ comfort one another. Oh course, this being CF, bad news turned to "everything's fine" (I know there could still be complications, but you get my drift) by the end of the episode. Just keep burning through those storylines, show...
  4. Just watched the last five episodes of the first half of season five over the past few days, and I'm creating my wishlist for the back half (and probably final season). What does everyone else want to see? -Less Dwight. I find him as dull as some people seem to find Nathan. Wish Charlotte would go away, too. They can leave together if need be... I wouldn't begrudge them a happy ending together if they would just leave. -Nathan being relevant to the plot/ mythology -More Nathan and Duke scenes together -Lots of Gloria -At least one more appearance by Nicholas Campbell, whether it's a flashback, alternate timeline, ghost, whatever. -A Lucy flashback with small Duke and Nathan would be fun. -Nathan getting shot and/ or dying (but not staying dead) one more time, because that never ceases to amuse me. Lay off the blows to the head, though. -Some kind of explanation, or at least acknowledgement, of Nathan's super healing powers. -A satisfying ending. I don't know what that would be, but nothing that will involve me wanting to throw things at my TV, please.
  5. It seemed weird, but she calls Teddy "Dad," not Deacon, and she texted Teddy after to tell him it went well, so presumably (weirdly) it was him.
  6. That bugged me because Henry, who is supposed to be so Sherlockian, didn't pick up on it. I mean, I know he was kind of rattled, but he was still showing off observations about the psychiatrist's wife, so I don't buy that he wouldn't instantly say (or at least think), "Hey, I didn't tell you that," when the Abe comment was made.
  7. Yes. My local news station did a big report on it a few months ago. I enjoyed this episode. Kitty and the Kitty/ Sherlock dynamic has really grown on me.
  8. Have just started watching Penny Dreadful, and Proteus's death really got to me. Even more so after I discovered adorable, dead Proteus was played by the same actor who played adorable, dead Gilbert in the UK version of Being Human. Alex Price needs to be on a show where he gets to live for more than a couple episodes...
  9. I want to smack Gunnar upside the head and then attack his ridiculous hair with scissors, but damn if he, Avery, and Scarlett weren't absolutely enthusiastically adorable last night while singing. I didn't even like the song (and usually I love whatever they sing, either alone in combination) but they were just so darn cute!
  10. Going off memory here, but this cracked me up... Bell: So the hand comes (makes a "twock" noise) right off? Sherlock (deadpan): That's not the noise it makes.
  11. I know many teens who have enjoyed them, but yes, they're definitely fun books for adults, too!
  12. The news didn't break till during Jane. My network broke in and didn't show the entire middle of the episode, causing me to switch over to Sleepy Hollow, which only broke away for 5 minutes. So it might not have had an enormous impact on the numbers, but I would think it definitely affected it. And that all the networks are aware that numbers for Tuesday night are bound to be a little off.
  13. Was I the only one amused by PeterMills yelling "Clear" when he was alone in the back of the ambulance? I'm sure it's realistic/ required/ habit/ whatever, but I still giggled. This episode reminded me how much I used to enjoy (very) early CF, when Gabby and PeterMills were a couple, and Gabby was actually palatable. I wish they would get back together, but I'm sure this is just more needless drama for Gabbie/ Casey. Casey needs a good storyline. So does Otis, for that matter. Cruz is adorable when he smiles.
  14. Anyone else curious what kind of clue Ichabod would've given for "Cher" if he hadn't given up on the game so quickly?
  15. Not sure if this qualifies as grammar, but the crawl that my local FOX station put across the screen during Sleepy Hollow last night said an announcement would soon be made about the possible indictment in Ferguson, MI. (MI is the abbreviation for Michigan . . .) Next crawl they did had Missouri spelled out, either because they couldn't figure out what the correct abbreviation was, or thought that audience members wouldn't be able to figure out the MO.
  16. Well, I thought that was fun. I switched around during the Katrina parts, and enjoyed all the Ichabod/ Abbie adventure nonsense. The NYC area FOX channel only chose to cut away for about 5 minutes for Ferguson, so that was nice.
  17. That could be because of the Ferguson announcement preempting/ interrupting a lot of viewers...
  18. Crosby was in the previews; he was behind Adam in the hospital room with Zeek. He appeared to be rolling his eyes while Adam was being heartfelt (I know he was really just looking uncomfortably away from Zeek, but in such a brief clip it looked like an eye roll, and it was hilarious).
  19. That was just when they found seizure-guy on the ground, right? I can forgive her saying that in the heat of the moment, either because she literally forgot under stress, or because it's the easiest thing to say to get the woman to move over and let Joan try to help. I hope Sherlock gets custody of Clyde while Joan is in Scanda-bloody-navia.
  20. The Michah storyline might be more palatable if he got to be an actual character rather than solely a plot device. Seriously, what's with this kid? Your mom dumps you with two near-strangers and disappears, and you're perfectly fine with that? (I know they mentioned nightmares last week, but we didn't get to see any of that.)
  21. I was bored, too. I have been for the past few weeks. I really want to like this show, and I do like the characters, but the cases of the week, and even the character development, are just so dull.
  22. I get that the Alicia ads were supposed to provide humor to the episode, but they just looked so BAD. Niles' looked like real-life campaign ads; Alicia's looked like something a seventh grader fooling around on the computer would make. And did anyone else notice the horrible body language from both Peter and Alicia during their joint interview? He was slumping; she was turned away from him like she wanted to be anywhere else. Not out of character, but I kept waiting for Johnny or Krumholtz's character to adjust their positioning, because surely they would have noticed it, too. But no. Yeah, that whole scene was just weird. I thought the body guard's phrasing of "phone" was significant. And what kind of body guard is going to allow Carey to go in there alone?!?
