  1. Even the way the interventionist approached Teairra seemed super inappropriate. She hadn't even fully entered the house yet. I do think Nikki is genuine. Her brother recently died from addiction, so she seems to be very aware of the signs. And I think her and Teairra are actually friends outside of the show.
  2. I just can't remember them using Challenge Season questions. Maybe I blocked it out because I was laughing too hard at them struggling to spell 5 and 6 letter words.
  3. There have definitely been better trivia episodes. First off, there were way too many people, so it went on longer than normal. Also, I don't like that they included Challenge specific questions. I think this was the first time the trivia challenge had questions about Challenge seasons. I prefer when it's all general trivia. And I agree that the males should have all been giving their X's to Johnny. This is the one Challenge he has never had an advantage in and they wasted it. Ugh, at the Camilla win. Only she would equating winning with "We can do whatever the hell we want." At least she won this one on her own.... I don't put it past her to fake the panic attack, though. She saw how much attention Ammo got and decided to use it as a strategy.
  4. I was not interested in the ICE plotline, but Stef's what the hell face, the overly ambitious photographer, high Wyatt ("oh c'mon girl, we just got back together!"), and Poppy ("why are they slow dancing?" "Because it's a slow song. Ugh!") made this episode for me.
  5. I also disagreed with them on this, but I have never liked Susie. I think she's a hypocrite and a bitch, and she claims to be all about female empowerment, but only when it's women she likes. So she gets a big 'ole eyeroll from me.
  6. Yeah, the preacher talking about "For just a small honorarium, we'll have a beautiful public service for your daughter," was just so icky. I don't doubt that Tate is using that church for illegal shit. Angela talking about upholding standards of professionalism got a hearty ass laugh from me. I don't think she understands what the word "professionalism" means. And her dumb ass saying, "So Tariq killed Reina, right?" Tariq's an idiot, but you really think he killed his own twin? How has she gotten so far in life? This! I kept waiting for them to slap the shit out of him the entire episode and it never happened. Especially Tasha, who caught on that he was lying ("You don't see it cause he lies the same way you do" - Burn!).
  7. Oh, you know he'll be back next season with a 3rd baby on the way with a 3rd baby mama, crying about how he needs this to support his kids. You know how you can support your kids Tony? Stop having them and get a damn job!
  8. And Mary Jane is actually Pauletta. So really, Patrick is the only one not named after their dad.... That was me. Honestly, I'm glad the girlfriend isn't around because it would only drive Mary Jane to be more immature and insufferable. Damn, Orlando is sexy. And watching him speak intelligently and hold his own against racist blonde chick.....yum. I loved the other ladies laughing at how Kara and the mom are basically the same person.
  9. Canadians....always gotta be different! :-D
  10. I believe she said something about not having an official place of residence in France and that's why she was being sent home.
  11. Of course she did. AJ took off that shirt and she was done for. That was certainly my favorite part of the episode.#shallow
  12. First off, what a great episode! I couldn't look away for most of it. Why does CT look so damn yummy in his talking heads? Watching Camilla get slammed into the column over and over again was greatness! And watching TJ outright laughing at her made me giggle. I don’t know why, but TJ seems much more animated than usual this season. And next week: Trivia!!! More glee to come. This! Every damn season. Jordan should know better. Also, when did he become party of the Johnny alliance? I thought for sure he was gonna toss Johnny in. I think I mentioned in another thread that I ran into Rachel last year. She was standing next to me in line at Home Goods and I couldn't stop staring at her because 1) her body was fucking sick, and her face was cute (so not as much as a butterface as I thought she'd be) and 2) I knew I knew her but couldn't place her. It wasn't until 20 minutes later when she passed me on the sidewalk again that it clicked in my brain who she was. I kinda forgot that Aneesa and Rachel were a couple, but when she said it, I was like, "Oh yeah!" But I am definitely one of those who had no idea that Veronica and Rachel were an actual item. I thought they were just close friends who occasionally hooked up when there were cameras around.
  13. Another shameless plug.....In case anyone is interested, 2 friends and I started a podcast, Ambition Snark. First episode: HBO's Confederate is Slavery Fanfic and F**k Johnny Bananas Link: Ambitious Snark
  14. In case anyone is interested, 2 friends and I started a podcast. Although the first episode focuses on the debate between the two upcoming post-slavery shows being proposed by HBO and Amazon, we spend a good chunk of the podcast talking about how much we loved the messiness of Champs vs Pros and hate Johnny. Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/ambitious-snark/id1276240961 After getting completely derailed by our Challenge discussion, we decided to do a Challenge rewatch podcast, starting from the very beginning (especially since one of my friends has never seen an episode). More on that coming soon.
  15. LMAO! Not only are they eating it, but openly posting about it on social media. I remember when you couldn't even mention giving head because you'd be labeled "one of those girls". I am for sexual freedom but I personally am not interested in tossing salads or getting mine tossed....
  16. Why is the Phantom wearing a hood (the colored collar around his robe)? Isn't he supposed to be an undergrad? I don't know why I expect stuff on this show to make sense.....
  17. Good for her. He's cute! And, as always, she's looking fabulous.
  18. Last season, it definitely felt like Issa was over her job, but it seemed like she had a level of recommittment after the talk with her boss. I think that's why she's trying so hard with the new after-school program, despite the obvious issues with the principal. But I can see your perspective and why that's the feeling you get. They are definitely all burnt out and show it/act like it (welcome to the non-profit world - I have the burnt out convo with my staff every week!). But I love being able to identify every type of non-profit worker on the We Got Y'all team, from the overly idealistic founder to the folks who think they're being progressive but are super prejudiced/privileged, down to the chick who hates everything about the job, and says it every opportunity she gets (Patricia, I think).
  19. I disagree with the sentiment that she's wasting her time. As a fellow non-profiter (who went to a great private school and has a science PhD), I could be doing lots of other things that would pay me so so much more. But I enjoy the work I do and have a strong passion for it (despite all the obvious downsides), and I suspect that Issa the character feels the same way. We non-profit folks accept that we will be broke for the rest of our lives! That's why I, personally, am on the hunt for a sugar daddy.....
  20. I have always hated this show, but it provided a level of joy and laughter that I appreciated weekly. However, all these extra people are ruining it for me. I can't with Zel and Ray who are doing entirely too much to get screen time. I can't with all the baby mama's and instagram girlfriends of these dirty trash dicks (Really, you let a dude who looks like a broke down version of Two Face from Batman almost impregnate you after "dating" for 3 weeks because he's a rapper?!?!?). I can't with Moneice's girlfriend's bff who wants to start drama to get a spot on the show. And I can't with Masika and Moneice's very nasty podcast because none of what they said was funny or clever (cause I enjoy petty and shade when it's actually good) and it just showed how insecure and stuck in middle school they are. Also, Masika got some nerve insinuating other women are ho's because her pot has been in lots of people's kitchens......but you know,
  21. Oh my gawd! Y'all are killing me this morning. And all I can think about now is this:
  22. I love Colourpop. I have almost all of the their lipsticks and love them. They're so cheap with great color payoff. However, you have to be careful when applying the mattes though; because the formula is cheap, if you apply too many layers it starts to clump and then fall off. So you basically have to get the application right first time! Haven't tried the blotted lips yet; that's next on my list once I lift my lipstick buying ban. (It's way to easy to by 10 million lippies at Coloupop since they're all $5-6).
  23. Looks like Gina Torres is getting a Suits spinoff. http://deadline.com/2017/08/suits-spinoff-gina-torres-star-suits-season-7-finale-will-be-about-chicago-politics-1202147518/ I'm glad, because Jessica was the only thing that kept me watching, and when she left, I jumped ship. I'll come back for the backdoor pilot.
  24. Love this! Patricia's was hilarious, and I was really hoping that her Tin-don't blog existed.....it doesn't. :-(
