Love & Hip Hop: New York - General Discussion
luckyroll3 replied to David T. Cole's topic in Love & Hip Hop: New York
Forgot to mention MariahLynn's flying squirrel impression in last week's episode. Chick legit caught about 5 feet of air when she leaped off that picnic table and onto Dream Doll! This week's episode: Self is a shitty manager (or whatever the fuck it is he does). He is definitely playing MariahLynn and Dream Doll against each other. Which of his artists have taken off?? None so far. MariahLynn needs to be smart and break out on her own to put out a mixtape. She actually writes some catchy shit. Anais' husband looks like he murders people for a living. If I was Rich, I'd watch my back. -
I watched this when it aired, but I don't think I ever saw season 5 or 6. And if I did, I don't remember watching them Over the holiday break I've been rewatching; I'm near the end of season 4. This rewatch has solidified one thing: man, do I fucking hate Serena! Ugh!

Tamar And Vince - General Discussion
luckyroll3 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Tamar And Vince
Ah, I was wondering why the Tamartians are attacking Laura Govan on social media. Apparently she turned off comments on her twitter/instagram, so the Tamartians just moved right on over to Gloria's page and started saying vile things about both of them and their kids. The level of hate that gets spewed by these Stans is always shocking. They enjoy escalating things way too much, and one day they'll take it too far. -
This was my take on it as well. They were fighting to choose each other other the matches that just didn't work, despite being forced by the app to stay in those matches/relationships for x length of time.

I feel like I may have watched Nightman in my wayward youth. It looks vaguely familiar. Then again,I was an only child and watched way too much shit as a kid that I should not have been watching. This may have been one of those shows..... Also, TWO people of color in the main cast....impressive. I may have to watch the pilot, if only to see Taylor Dane.

I forgot that they'd actually gotten married. On another note, I miss this show. -
Shut the fuck up Suzie!! (See, that was disrespectful.) She's so insufferable.

Premiering on New Years Day. I'm so ready! -
And then they make fun of people like Kandi who choose to buy a foreclosed on fixer-upper, instead of buildling a "chateau" from scratch. Kandi doesn't waste her money (and is constantly looking for opportunities to continue making more), and that's why she's still rich.

S01.E05: Champs vs. Stars: Playing Me For the Foos
luckyroll3 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Challenge
There's the Wes I love! Duplicitous and openly scheming. And most likely it will come back to bite him in the ass; but even if it does, I enjoyed the hell out of him this episode. I'm still cracking up at the side-by-side pic of pasty, pudgy Wes and the tan, chiseled soccer player. So great! Reason 2,364 why I hate John: He always wants to make deals, but no one else is allowed to benefit from these deals except for him. Help me to get MVP, but don't think that I won't say your name you as LVP. And he expected Wes, of all people, to do what with that? Say, "Oh ok Johnny. Glad to help you out and sacrifice myself in the process." Yeah right. Wes played the game. And to his credit, the girls had already pretty much decided on Wes, so he didn't have to do much cajoling to get them on his sides. They guys, on the other hand, were suspiciously quiet. It must suck for John to not have have his normal ass kissers around. Justine was definitely MVP overall this week. She beasted as goalie and fended off both guys until the end. It was very impressive.- 22 replies

That kid is cute! But despite how cute she is, I don't want to hear nothing from Corey about how he's "doing this for his daughter" or that people are preventing him from "supporting his family". Tony is enough.

WAGS LA: The OGs of E! Waggier Than the Rest?
luckyroll3 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in WAGS [V]
This! She was the only one of them without any make-up on, and she looked absolutely stunning! Thanks for this. Very interesting. I'm watching season 1 now (I watched last season on and off, but didn't realize it was actually season 2; except I did see the season 1 episode at the hockey game where Nat and Olivia were being "disrespectful", so I'm not sure how I ended up skipping all of season 1, Lol!) and Autumn and the chick she's fighting with now, are so damn judgey about being wives and "that's why they're just girlfriends <cackle, cackle, cackle>". It's just so offputting, including her trying to convince the other one that the reason her husband put off the wedding date is because there's probably someone else (what happened to that one, anyway?). I'm going to enjoy her being taken down a peg. -
I think the problem is similar to the problem with the kids on Timbaland's show (I think it was called the Pop Game). They are big on YouTube/Instagram, but many of them have never actually performed infront of actual people before. It makes it very difficult to connect with people, or rather, an audience, if all of your preformances have been for just a camera/cellphone. Most of the kids from the first 2 seasons at least had some level of live performances under their belts. And the ones that didn't, like Prince of NY, had some amount of charisma that gave them star potential. Most of the kids on this season, with the exception of Rapunzel and maybe Street Bud (who has a lot to learn, but has a spark of it factor), don't.

S08.E10: Meltdown In Milan
luckyroll3 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Yes, it was extremely self-absorbed and selfish of them to essentially bumrush the fashion show "charity fundraiser". However, Kim D only invited Delores and Siggy because she knew the cameras would follow them, just like she deliberately dropped the crumbs about Teresa "rekindling old flames" during the fitting because she knew it would get back to Theresa and crew and they would be encouraged (by production) to talk about it and confront Kim D. In my opinion Kim D is the one who has been the most disrespectful and inconsiderate of the families she's supposedly trying to help. -
Yes! All that was missing was his wife knocking him across the back of the head for enjoying it too much.

That was defintely more of a sexy Luther Vandros version. LMAO! I never liked satiny/shiny pants on guys, until that shot of Andre on the stage from behind...... Great episode and great take down of Diana. Although, I was hoping for more of a Dynasty-style showdown and confrontation between Diana and Cookie. I'm hoping Angelo is dead, because he became so damn annoying. And I really hope that this doesn't help to rekindle Warren and Jamal's relationship. I don't like them together.

S08.E10: Meltdown In Milan
luckyroll3 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Yo! That scene in the restaurant was crazy!!! I was in the gym, on the elliptical, like: When she called Margaret anti-semetic, I almost lost my balance and fell off because of how insane the accusation was. And then Danielle, bringing even more crazy. And Delores cosigning Siggy with, "how come they won't defend US?" They're both fucking cukcoo banana's! This. Everytime she brings up Soggy Flicker, there's a different reason why it offended her. Yet, you supposdely moved past it and accepted Margaret's apology AND you're trying to make money off of "Soggy Flicker" shirts. Either continue to be offended or move the fuck on - you don't get to jump back and forth between them when you want to regain the center of attention. I feel bad for anyone who has taken relationship advice from her, cause that meant they paid for that shit. Uhm, Previously.tv girls' trip!!!! Just let me know when! :-D -
S10.E06: All Aboard the Shady Express
luckyroll3 replied to zoeysmom's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I agree. Porsha is a month older than me and I get real annoyed when they always make excuses for her on the show "because she's so young and doesn't know better". Please! She knows better, she just doesn't care because everyone, from her family to her husband to her friends, coddles her all the damn time. It allows her to continue not taking responsibility for anything that she does. -
WAGS LA: The OGs of E! Waggier Than the Rest?
luckyroll3 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in WAGS [V]
Yeah, until she micromanages their relationship to death. But apparently, that's what all the players want, because Nicole does the same damn thing. If she didn't want him going to Colombia, just fucking say so. But don't say and act like you're okay with it and then try to track his every move every hour by hour. That's hella exhausting. (But really Larry? You know good and well the only reason your friends want to go to Colombia for a bachelor party is so that y'all can get away with some shit....) The girl who tried to stir shit up between Barbie and the other chick - is it just me or is the reason she's crying so much about how much she respects her marriage is because she's guilty of whatever they accused her of and she's upset that it got said on air. She doth protest a tad too much. -
LIP products: lipsticks, lipkits, glosses, balms all that jazz
luckyroll3 replied to Petunia13's topic in Beauty & Fashion
Huda Lipkit Update: Yesterday I wore Spice Girl (the kit contains Spice Girl and Venus; I only wore the Spice Girl). I used the "lip contour" (stop being creative and just call it fucking lipliner people!); I didn't do the whole contouring thing, I just lined my lips like I normally do (outline my lip line, I define my cupids bow, and then I fill in color along the corners of my lips just a bit towards the center, so most of my lip generally isn't filled in at all). Some people may like that the liner is actually a perfect match for the lipstick, so if you do like to fill in your lips completely with liner first, it won't change the color once the lipstick is applied. I tend to like my liner just a shade darker to make my lips more defined. Once the lipstick was on, I had to re-line my lips with my go to liner (MAC Chestnut) because the color was making my lips disappear into my face, if that makes sense (I typically have to line all brown lip colors). The lipstick itself was really nice. My one gripe was that the consistency was super watery, so I ended up putting too much color on my bottom lip and had to use my fingers to correct it. I was prepared for my top lip and got the application right. Additionally, because it was sooooooo runny, when I parted my lips just the tiniest bit, it got all over my teeth immediately! Once it dried down, which happened quickly, the color was lovely. The lipstick itself also felt really lovely on. It was matte, but felt, I don't know, cushiony maybe? And I never felt like my lips were dry at all. The color stayed on all damn day, through salad with vinaigrette dressing (the ultimate matte lipstick destroyer!) and pepperoni pizza. I was impressed and think I'm a fan. I'm gonna try the Vixen color (the dark red one) today.
