In what word is Jane qualified to be an editor-in-chief, even on an interim basis?!?!?!?!? And I was waiting for Oliver to call Jacqueline out on this, but nope, the sun always shines out of Jane's ass. If failing upward had a spokesperson....

S01.E10: Can You Feel the Love Tonight?
luckyroll3 replied to peachmangosteen's topic in The Challenge: All Stars
I was shocked to hear Jisella say that she's still no longer friends with Aneesa. When the hosts asked that question, I said out loud to myself, "Of course, they've resolved it!" But obviously I didn't realize what a self-righteous wench Jisella actually is. And it's clear she's enjoying her re-entry into the spotlight a bit too much. Who wants to place bets on how long it will take her to lose some weight and get herself cast on an actual Challenge season as an OG? I'd say in 2 seasons from now. I get that they may not have wanted to have everyone on stage during the reunion, but they could have at least offered folks to pop in via zoom or something. I really wanted to hear from Katie about her experience. -
I enjoyed watching him get his ass beat, but I was hoping they would also leave him alive so Nick could drag him back to be tried by Gilead. But I'm also good with a headless, ringfinger-less, on the wall Commander Waterford too. Can't wait for Serena to get what's coming to her, especially after the way she was speaking to Tuello. Lady, you and your husband are in jail for war crimes...that you actually committed and admit to! Bitch, you don't get to demand shit from anyone.

It was soooooooo boring! Also, had they ever mentioned having another sibling before this? I don't remember there being a third child at all, but I often multitask when watching this show, so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed it.

I just watched the first 2 short stories. I really enjoyed the Rebe, Caye, and Guzman one because it was really silly and fun.

Because then she wouldn't get to be the martyr. Poor Jane had to give up a man AND a good employee. I'm still fuming over her not responding to Addison's emails nor giving her any feedback on any of her pitches the entire time she's been there. Like what has Addison been doing there all this time besides looking for another job? Jane needs to be written up for this shit. Addison better not stay!

A Different World - General Discussion

Given what they've shown us about Pacey's parents and his home life, I believe they were fine letting him go for the entire summer. They barely gave 2 shits about him most of the time. From the dad's perspective, no mouthy teen to deal with; from the mom's one less person to take care of. Because she's a "tom boy" who doesn't realize how "womanly" she is. 😒
-
This was so on point. I'm guessing part of it has to do with Joey not wanting to admit to herself that she wanted Pacey too, because then she would have to acknowledge that maybe Dawson isn't her endgame like she'd always dreamed. But from Pacey's perspective, all the effort couldn't just come from him because that only helps to create more doubt on his end that she may just not be interested/won't ever get over Dawson. Oooh, it's frustrating! And really made me hurt for Pacey who already saw himself as not important/less important to everyone.

I don't feel bad for Teresa because she should have killed Boaz 3 Boaz-incidents ago. He's shown time and time again that he can't be trusted, he's desperate to be the top boss, and that he's a psycho. Why is he still around?

The look on the judges faces when they realized that she really wasn't wearing any underwear. Mother said, "y'all asked for body, you gonna get AAAALLLLLLLL of this!!!!!!" LMAO! Yes! All of the guys looked hot!

I really loved this episode. The theme, pop art with hiphop, was great and each of the houses gave top notch performances AND looked like they were having fun. The judges also seemed to be super excited with every performance, which I like better than when they're surly or "fighting" with each other. That being said, damn I miss Chise! Every battle I've seen, I've said to myself, "Chise would've eaten that shit up!" I hope they bring her in as as assassin or something.

"Landon" was definitely smiling waaaaaaaaaay too much these last few episodes. I prefer my Landon moody and sexy emo. And now that he probably knows how to fight since he's been killing monsters and shit for who knows how long, even better.

A Black Lady Sketch Show - General Discussion
luckyroll3 replied to Primetimer's topic in A Black Lady Sketch Show
I just learned a few days ago that the intro credits are slightly different each episode. -
Both Brandon and Garrett are cute....until they speak. Brandon's Baby Mama is so thrilled that she snagged herself a rich mama's boy who's also a "reality TV star". She was trying so hard not to look at the camera while beaming about her good fortune about how both her and baby would be with Brandon forever! Lol! She wasn't even listening to what Brandon was trying to say. Juliet to Kelsey's friend: I can't believe you told Kelsey what we talked about. Why did you do that. Kelsey's Friend: You know very well I did exactly what the producers told me to do to secure my spot on this year's trip. This show is so dumb, but same!

Candiace Dillard Bassett: Ducking Purses Since 2018
luckyroll3 replied to eXiled's topic in The Real Housewives Of Potomac
Candiace was in an episode of Family Reunion's new season playing a "Real Housewife"-type character alongside Kenya Moore and Brandi from RHoBH. Candiace was surprisingly very funny in her role. -
I think it's the other way around. Nick has been working to get Beth to trust him and see him as an ally against Rio. And hopefully now, when Rio is being "mean" to her, she'll turn to Nick for help and advice. He's playing both sides, because most likely, as someone upthread suggested, he's the mastermind or just below the mastermind. I think they actually are brother/cousins, as in either mom or dad cheated with their partner's sibling. (It happens; I know more sibling/cousins than I'd like to 😒). Nick chooses to see the two of them as brothers, and Rio chooses to see the two of them as cousins because he doesn't like/trust Nick.

That was an...interesting article. Sad story overall, but the author clearly had a goal of painting Ash in as poor a light as possible. I found the framing of the murder as "intimate partner violence" weird when from what they described it sounds more like it was drug induced and when he came out of it and realized what had happened, he tried to clean up and revive her. Loved all the quotes from Vin. He's always been my favorite because he seemed the most grounded despite being a gigolo.

S13.E18: How the Wig Stole Christmas
luckyroll3 replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
Don't forget the cat bed. I think that added like $25 to the value of her gift. While the episode was shit, I laughed for a few minutes straight when Drew said the wig was worth $1000 and all the other ladies looked at her like: And I'm not sure what she was trying to prove with that tape, but that was the worst set of receipts I've ever seen on any of the Housewives' shows. Also, who's still recording folks on cassettes? -
S01.E02: All That You Can't Leave Behind
luckyroll3 replied to peachmangosteen's topic in The Challenge: All Stars
Trishelle first accusing Katie of being a bad friend because Katie didn't immediately run upstairs to tell her the voting results, then asking Katie why she was so upset about being called a bad friend, followed by a later scene where Trishelle tells the group "I'll be fine because I have more friends than her [Katie]" tells me everything I need to know about about the type of woman Trishelle is now. And that is she's still a shitty person. There was a brief glimmer of growth in what actually sounded like an authentic apology to Aneesa, but to treat someone she's actually referred to as a "close friend" like that and on TV is fucked up. -
There was absolutely no reason for there to be one team that HAD to go twice. They could have easily done 3 heats with 2 teams on offense and 3 teams on defense in each heat. It actually would have been more challenging for the offensive teams that way. Ehh. More like Kam is killing it. Several of the daily challenges they've won has been thanks to Kam who has sacrificed her own team to give Leroy the answers or lead. And even with the advantage in last night's game, they only beat the 2nd place team by 1 point. I've been over Kaycee since last season, but her "our alliance is only really in place to benefit me not you" mentality is so fucking grating. But that's Amber's fault for thinking she could count on Kaycee, because the BB alliance has been using her and undermining her game all season.

We can only hope that he will also have some shirtless, pantless scenes as well. #shallow

I loved hearing how her and Stephen Dorff were able to reconnect and restart their friendship after the death of his brother. And it was interesting to learn that she, Balthazar and Brian have been friends all this time (particularly Brian, cause sometimes he seems like the type of douche who does't keep friends). Same. I wanted to see where folks are currently, especially the ones I hadn't thought about in a while. And I was also checking ages!
