  1. Isn't it? I'm about to finish my 3rd rewatch in the past 4 years.....all 18 seasons! But it's also good background noise for when I'm working.
  2. That's how the middle school girl hierarchy works. The one deemed the Queen Bee can do whatever she wants and everyone will follow until she's dethroned.
  3. I lost it when that happened. I was laughing so hard I started to cry! And then I lost it again when I saw the reactions of everyone compared to Van and Darius who were like, "What in the entire fuck!" How in the world is that gently transitioning to the next phase?!?!?
  4. Because 8th grade girls are
  5. Did I miss something last week? When did Simone move back into the dorms?
  6. She's had a lot of posts recently about her sisters, missing them and wishing they were close by. It's not like she never talks about her family, but it's been more frequent lately.
  7. Just saw this as well. Quite the shock indeed. Definitely puts some of Tamar's recent posts in context.
  8. The thumb commercial is weird AF, but I actually really enjoy the Lenscrafter's one. I think it's kinda funny and she looks amazing in the frames!
  9. Original Air Date: 2022.03.13
  10. Wanted to let y'all know I tried Lashify and I love them! They're individual clumps of lashes (not sure if that's quite the right descriptor, lol) that get attached/bonded to the bottom of your top lashes. My first attempt at wearing them, I was able to get 4 days of wear time. The initial "kit" is pricey, but it comes with everything you need and 2 lengths of lashes that you choose - I got the 10 and 12 inches in the kit, and added on an 8 inches set. The 10s were great and no one could tell that I had them on; they just enhanced my lash look as if I had really good mascara. But, I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked the 12s. The looked really long to me, but in pictures, they're extremely natural looking. The lashes are re-useable for multiple wears if you take care of them, and once they are done, the refill sets are $20-25. And the lashes range from natural looking to snuffaluffagus if that's your vibe.
  11. I'm just wondering who the faculty advisor is for this production. Wow. Cause:
  12. While I enjoyed this, I don't find the actors to be as charismatic as the originals, with the exception of the parents. This is probably because the show is sooooo heavy. I knew they were making it a drama, but I think it could use a touch more levity. I also wish Hillary was little more bougie-er! I buy her as an influencer, but every time they talk about her being a chef I'm like, "Hillary would NEVAH!" Lol! Similarly, Carlton is so mean and angry. And every time he does something evil to his family member, I can't help thinking that OG Carlton had his moments, but wasn't a bad person. I think I need to do a bit more disassociating from the original to really get into this version.
  13. Haven't seen this, but Stacey's been getting a lot of work lately. She also had a pretty hefty role in the last season of Superman and Lois (or whatever the name is of this new version). I've been doing (another) rewatch and I'm on S6, the year the the OG kids go to college and Spinner, Jimmy, and Ashley get left behind to repeat their senior year. It totally makes sense why Spinner and Jimmy had to repeat, but why did Ashley. What was she doing in London junior year? She went for the summer, decided to stay, found a new BF who she dumped Craig for, but she didn't enroll in school the entire time? Not sure if I missed some random explanation they gave, but I've been thinking about it waaaaaay too much the past couple days and trying to make sense of it.
  14. I was in an AirBnb the past few days and they had Samsung TV + which is some free streaming service. One of the channels was a Degrassi 24/7 channel. Guess what I did for 3 days straight? 😂
  15. Also, I couldn't stand La'Darius last season.....and that still hasn't changed. He is such a toxic person and I can't imagine being on a team with someone like him. Monica definitely enabled him in her attempt to be a support system for him and that bit her in the ass. But, she should have seen that shit coming.
  16. It is weird. Talk about perspective. Both of the teams are really good, BUT if it's just the two of them, going all the way to Daytona to compete just seems so silly and the number of wins definitely become less impressive. Were there more Junior College Teams in this division in the past, or has it always been the two of them?
  17. I'm always excited and game for more Degrassi! But this now makes so much sense why Generation was cancelled after just 1 season.
  18. So much this. First On My Block, now this show. It's beyond frustrating!
  19. I made it through this entire season, unlike Selling Sunset where I gave up during episode 1. I can not stand Sharelle. First off, she's resembles Evelyn Lozada so much, it's distracting and not at all surprising why Chad is dating her. But even more aggravating, she is the worst boss! She is the epitome of being a boss, not a leader. She keeps demanding respect, but doesn't give any to her team. She says her door is always open, but whenever anyone brings up an issue, many of which are valid, she shuts them down and tells them they can leave. And while Alexis sucked as an agent, no one put in any effort to actually train her, and that is actually Sharelle's responsibility as the head of the company. Instead, she spent more time talking shit about Alexis and laughing behind her back than mentoring and training her. She also keeps giving Juwanna increasing responsibilities and promotes her to a leadership role without talking to her team about why or even addressing the issues that ALL of them have with her. She's exhausting. I loved Anne-Sophia and I want access to her closet. Her entire wardrobe was fire! She knows how to dress for her body type. I could do without all the designer stuff, because it mostly reeks of trying too hard, but I think all the ladies looked nice. And their outfits are very common for real estate agents in South Florida (you should see what folks in Miami wear!). I liked Colony up until she threw Anne-Sophia under the bus in their conversation with Sharelle about Rena. Speaking of Rena, she's a complete badass (degrees in law, civil engineering, and environmental engineering!!!). Makes sense why Sharelle is completely intimidated by her and tries to shut her down all the time. I'm actually shocked to see that Rena is still with the company.
