  1. OMG VICTORIA! please go to Hawaii and eat something! It pains me to keep seeing her on my tv
  2. Not sure what’s going on with the actress who plays Sally, but it’s not good. The way she walked into that scene with Jack and Lauren and barked out her lines.. Does anybody else who knows her from B&B feel that her acting ability seems to have taken a nose dive? Also I am pained at the thought of Jack being with he romantically. He talks to her like he does to Summer, which is appropriately grandfatherly. Let’s not cross the line. Some gorgeous glamorous sophisticated 50+ woman should swoop into GC and knock him for a loop.
  3. It is so strange for those of us who watched the show in the 70’s, because Lesley was one of the most wholesome characters in the show! In the original story Lesley didn’t know Gordon was married when she slept with him. And she was never friends with Florence. In fact she met Florence years later. Florence was her patient and had an ulcer. Florence told her she was stressed over her bad marriage. When Lesley realized who the husband was she quickly got somebody else (Peter?) to be Florence’s doctor. In other words they are playing a bit with the original story here, making Lesley appear more guilty than she originally was.
  4. I know this comment is from awhile ago and maybe somebody has already responded, but this is precisely what happened with Laura. Lesley was told that her child was stillborn, but in actuality she has given birth to a daughter. Another woman, Barbara Vining had a stillbirth. The nurse in the maternity ward was paid to switch babies(I had remembered it as Lesley’s father paying her off but the current take is that Gordon Gray did it). When Laura was about 12 the nurse showed up at GH to make a deathbed confession, and Lesley tracked down Laura. There was some drama of course but eventually they SORASED Laura to be 15 and Genie Francis and she came to live permanently with Lesley.
  5. Just watched the episode last night. I agree that Shannon guilting her kids was over the top, although they do deserve some of it. But I was also screaming at Emily! She KNOWS she has COVID and is hanging around her little children without wearing a mask?? Irresponsible! They may be less likely to get seriously ill but it’s still a risk. So unless they were known to be positive to, and she just didn’t mean hon it, which seems unlikely, she was endangering them.
  6. Shoot me now with this stupid Gift of the Magi story between Dummer and Kyle
  7. Ugh I think the return to Liam and Steffy and their endless talks is enough to drive me away from this stupid show for awhile. Good job writers. I’ll check in here to see if anything worth watching happens.
  8. They weren’t my team (in our family we have to pick teams the beginning of episode one, with very little insight- I had the beards), but I can’t really hate on a super fan winning. I’ve watched since season one and applied a few times too. It feels really good to see a fellow super fan win!
  9. I know I don’t have a fever, because I’m tested at work twice a day, but today I found myself being on the side of Theo, Adam, and (hell must be freezing over) Phyllis! What in the world has 2020 done to me?!
  10. Looks like I am in the minority, but I feel badly for Shane. He’s clearly in over his head, but he seems to want very badly to do well. Some people are book smart but just not meant to work with their hands. And it freaks those people out to not be good at something because all their lives in school, where mental aptitude is valued more than anything else (ask the vo-tech kids), they are used to being praised as being “the best”. Yes the phone dying oversleeping move was boneheaded and all on him, but he was exhausted from trying to over-achieve to make up for his prior errors. Everybody can’t be good at everything. Shane needs to go home and find a cerebral job he can excel at. He will hopefully have gained an appreciation for people who do hard physical jobs and do them well.
  11. It just occurred to me that Thomas’ recovery means the end of evil Hopeaquin! So sad. She was entertaining- finally a story that I wish they had dragged out a bit longer!
  12. Who says she can’t? Denise Alexander drops in now and then. And I am here for it- Every. Time. I was just a kid and had just started watching the show a bit before Lesley found out that her daughter was alive. The nurse who switched babies confessed on her deathbed. In my memory it was LESLEY ‘s father who has paid her to switch, so his daughter could pursue her dream of med school (Lesley was supposedly 17 when Laura was born). So either I am remembering wrong or they are changing history. Also the “affair” between Lesley and Gordon - my understanding was she didn’t know he was married, and found out after she became pregnant. But again, it’s vague.. and I wasn’t watching at all when Gordon and Florence were actually characters on the show. At that point Laura was still presumed dead at birth.
  13. The scenes with Thomas and Hope were reminiscent of Luke and Laura on GH years ago after he raped her. Thomas is going to be the new “anti-hero”. I agree that MA really played those scenes exceptionally well.
  14. Seriously how the HECK could these writers think we want to see the triangle of doom again??! You would think they would be as sick of writing it as we are of seeing it. pick any other characters people! I’d rather Liam bang Pam at this point!
  15. Unpopular opinion alert: During the flashback scenes of prior weddings I had to sigh at the glimpse of Jack and Phyllis. I honestly think they bring out the best in each other and wish there could be a good storyline to reconcile them. I think she should be Jack’s endgame.
  16. Just seeing replacement Chance today for the first time. MUCH better energy and he really resembles the guy who played Chance’s father! Was giving me flashbacks watching his scene with Nina. They should find a way to ditch the other Chance. Especially during COVID, it will be nice to be able to have newlyweds who can actually touch and kiss. Edited to add: now at the scene between him and Abby. It’s official, this guy does a much better job than official Chance.
  17. I watched the show last night for the first time this season. I would have kept the “Cry Baby” girl over her competition, but otherwise I agree with the choices. i see people here like that country dude Ian, but I didn’t hear anything special about him at all. Between the two country dudes I would pick the Humble and Kind singer. But I don’t like country so I usually never like the winner of this show. To me the best voice last night was the kid, Carter.
  18. What in God’s name is sitting in top of Steffy’s head today?! I don’t understand why nobody stops that actress from going on tv looking like that. Also @TobinAlbers you need to apply for a writing job with B&B immediately! Great ideas
  19. lol just watching yesterday’s show. Ashley not being able to hug Abby and grab her hand to look at the ring was SO AWKWARD. Darn you COVID!
  20. THIS! We are in the middle of a pandemic, which is only getting worse as some people refuse to take precautions. The writers better have had Abby walk into a room with an infectious to show us how dangerous it is. If Abby doesn’t get sick or Chance doesn’t turn worse from that move then they are just being irresponsible. 😡
  21. Can’t believe how upset Tayshia is being about Jason leaving. She’s lucky only one left after the guys were all pumped up about somebody else a second ago. It’s nothing against her personally but how do you pull a switch that fast? I feel like there have to be more guys who aren’t happy about the switch but want to stay on the show so are staying quiet. I’m also very sure there are plenty of guys who prefer her and are thrilled.
  22. Omg I hadn’t even considered this couple! NOOO! He’s old enough to be her grandfather, and she’s CONNIVING. Yuck! Adam or Billy are natural fits.
  23. Sally is way too smart for Banana Breath. I fear they are throwing her in with Kyle to complicate things for Summer, but he’s about 10 years too young for her mentally. She and Adam would be much more interesting than Adam with Sharon (yawn), but the real -life dating situation may be dictating that couple, especially thanks to COVID.
  24. Interesting.. just as they are giving us a reason to root for Theo (the Abbotts treating him like garbage during Dina’s death). I hope they will re-cast.
  25. Waahh! I’ve had a small crush on the actor who plays Jack since I was a young girl and he was Cliff on All My Children, but that dancing scene may have ended it. And really Jack, would it kill you to admit you messed up and find a way to get Theo a piece of that gem? I thought you were better than that.
