  1. So truly sorry @Bookish Jen. His last loving act for you was to spare you from your last loving act for him~ 🐾❤️
  2. Sold at Kroger and others - market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/twin-city-foods-inc-recalls-frozen-super-sweet-corn-and-mixed-vegetables-because-possible-health
  3. Very recently, the bakery mgr at our local supermarket informed me that he is required to throw away any product that is past it's sell date. He is not allowed to donate it. What I don't know is if that is a local health dept mandate, or a managment edict from the store's owners. Makes me ill to think about that.
  4. TJs on quite a roll with the recalls of late. traderjoes
  5. And I was left wondering if Prajje was credited for knocking off designing her top.
  6. I'll leave it to someone more capable than I, to put this into a usable context. Still mindblowing. 5 MB of data on 62,500 punch cards in 1955.
  7. Yes, same! Anyone in the path of Hillary, please stay safe~
  8. I alternately call Elaine and Nina the Paula Abdul of this show. (obscure American Idol reference)
  9. You can shut them off. In my Android, it's Settings>Safety and emergency
  10. Ok y'all, I'm moving on from the modesty thing. I feel my way, you feel yours. It's all good, but just agree to disagree. ✌️ You think? lol
  11. I'm not saying it was distasteful, just doesn't meet the modest definition to me, when the entire bottom is out there, no matter how shapely it is, lol. Perhaps it's a semantics thing.
  12. Perhaps it is attributable to my age (I'm a sexagenarian, ironically enough) that I happen to believe a woman can be sexy without being exposed. Brittney's model was exposed. I realize that modern culture doesn't really have a problem with that. Plus, I hear my mother in my ear, lol.
  13. They should be told that natural selection is always on the hunt for recruits.
  14. And slippers. Don't forget the slippers. You know, the sort that don't appear to have been laundered since, well never actually. And after traipsing through a supermarket, still won't be laundered. 😝
  15. It wasn't something she harped on, but mentiond it (thinking she was sewing at the time), and was complaining about her constantly being a victim of any number of "double binds". I can't recall when exactly it was, as I was too distracted by my own eyerolling. Nor did I. That honor belonged to Rami or Brittney on my ballot.
  16. I have a 4-letter last name, with alternating vowels & consonants, and it is mispronouncd 75% of the time. I have never felt diminished, though your exprience clearly differs. If it exercised me, I would correct the speaker. People can't know until they know.
  17. So Korto overcame the oppression of having people pronounce her name Core-Toe (you know, phonetically) and not Kah-toe! How did she drag herself out of bed after that? Brittney definitely got a Mulligan here. Her modesty explanation was laughable really. Even if she would hav made a high-wasted brief, it could have passed muster. How the prairie clown dress designer was on board with that is beyond me. Judges get a demerit for that. Bishme could have done so much more with that concept, but I didn't think it was as bad as the judges did. The sequins killed him. His body language though! If he could've turned himself inside out, he would have. Rami. Again with the boring. It fit well, and can't be found at Macy's. That's all I've got. I didn't dislike Prajje's as much as the judges did, but yeah, not a winning look. I agree with the winner. That woman can tailor!
