For as basic and crucial to medicine the act is, it really is amazing how few are adept at it. Thankfully for me, I remember the really good ones more than the really bad ones.

Blood draws have been from my hand for probably 20 years now. I actually have become used to it, and rarely have any more discomfort than I would from traditional locations. The water thing is a good tip, told me by my hemotologist's nurse.

Thanks for doing what you do, and I can appreciate your frustrations, but let's face it, 9-1-1 isn't the vehicle for anything remotely approaching reality/believability.

Probably the term "aspies" that is better left unused. For me, it trivializes a life altering illness. Not speaking for anyone but myself, but for me, it's up there with the r word.

It can't be easier to put one of those plastic store bags, or some reusable alternative in your vehicle for trash. As for cigarette butts, God made empty soda cans specifically for this purpose. If you car doesn't have an ashtray, stick an empty soda can in one of the 436 cupholders, and voila! No litter and no brushfires.

Haven't cruised this thread in a long while as I haven't watched for a couple seasons now, but yes, this FAS thing has been thrown around since Saint was born, mostly based on his physical appearance. He looks exactly like Katherine's brother fwiw. It is unlikely that Saint's medical record has been made public, unless through some sort of unsealed court record. Until then, it seems unkind at best and irresponsible at worst, to continue to label him in that way. I say this while in agreement that those kids would be far, far better off with an entirely different set of parents. Financial resources do NOT a suitable parent make.

BF definitely has a quick wit, and a sense of humor that I find myself drawn to (sense of humor only, not the person behind it), but it's a far leap to writing and performing material on stage, in front of audiences that are generally poised to pounce on mediocrity. She should remember that whatever humor/performance acumen she may or may not arguably have, it wasn't enough to keep her talk show out of the morgue. She first needs to pick a lane, then she needs to stay in it. She's trying to be OmniBeth, and we all know the adage about a jack of all trades.

If it's anything like my local grocery which was purchased by a larger, regional brand, what's coming is more self-check lanes, and fewer humans to operate the others. I can't help but notice that the prices haven't dropped to reflect their lower direct labor costs, as we all know it's quite the opposite. Progress. Bah! I've grown to despise our once well-run grocery that kept customer service as a high priority.

Time for the nesting pairs to locate their places.

It takes neither an adept designer, nor an astute business person to throw money at real property, and tell the contractors "I want grey, white, and contemporary." Groundbreaking she ain't.
