  1. It probably has a lot to do with the constant praise she gets from peers and fans, the EGOT, etc., etc. I remember she and Barbara would often but heads too.
  2. You must have not seen the many times she has been mean to Paula. Her worst episode included her yelling across the table to Paula saying "Look at me!", then she talked to her as if she was a child. I'm not exaggerating. I was so shocked and sickened by that display. And of course she often attacked Jedediah. Yet she handles Meghan with kid gloves.
  3. She contradicts Sunny, Paula and often Joy. I really, really hate when Ms. Goldberg goes into her "all knowing zone". No one can tell her anything. Yes you are the moderator but stop bullying people and acting like it all comes down to what you think. I was looking forward to a Friday free Whoopi. 2nd time in a row I was disappointed.
  4. Was it really eight years? Her imdb credits don't really show that long of a stretch without work. And there's an interview online where she says it was 4 years that she couldn't get work. Which is it? Anyone know what's the real deal?
  5. I was overjoyed to see Greg Vaughan (Eric) win. I love, love that character. His acceptance speech was great too. I was glad to see he didn't forget Ari (Nicole). Part of me wonders if Ari would have finally won if she was still on the show. Back to Greg, he seems just as great a guy as his character. I've always loved him as an actor. He was good in Charmed as well. I also loved seeing all those flashbacks of Susan Hayes especially the ones with Kristian Alfonso and Tracy Bergman. The show gave me such a feeling of nostalgia. Great, great moment for Days.
  6. Everything you mentioned was entertaining. What we have now, not so much.
  7. I watched the show on Friday after quite some time and … I REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING THAT'S GOING ON RIGHT NOW. The absence of Nicole, Sami, E.J., Kristen and Stefano are very missed. I had hopes that Vivian’s return would add some much needed fire. It has barely been a spark. This show needs some new life. I am not feeling this Stefan O. Dimera storyline AT ALL. The actor is very boring. I’d rather see Xander any day over Stefan O. At least he had charisma and smoking hot sex appeal. Abigail is boring too. She is not leading leady material. Eve is pretty good but she needs better material. I’d love to see her develop into an anti-heroine. I also like Jennifer and Eric individually but I hate them together. There is so much wrong with the current landscape of this show now. C’mon days. You can do better than this.
  8. There has been "some" praise for Paula, not a lot. I'm a big fan myself. I love her humor, humility and professionalism.
  9. It was so great to have her back. The audience agreed by giving her awesome applause that went on for a while. She is missed.
  10. NeNe is such a hypocrite. When has she apologized in front of the group for anything? Ms. "I said what I said" and "It ain't changing over here" has done some very foul things and I can't remember her doing this huge, heartfelt apology. She has reluctantly and not so sincerely apologized for a few things, but nothing to the level she is asking Porsha to do. That said, I do think that Porsha owes Kandi a more sincere apology admitting what she did and why. That part of what NeNe said I agree with. However, I don't think it needs to be in front of the group. Kandi was a friend to Porsha, putting her in a play, donating money for her, standing up for her when she dragged Kenya across the floor and she and Kandi actually used to hang out together. For all of that, she deserves a better apology.
  11. Maybe she will become more glamours and refined as the series continues, if they are picked up for a 2nd season. I've always loved Nicollette and I must admit her first full episode wasn't as strong as I hoped, but she was entertaining. And we can't expect her character to be a carbon copy of Joan Collins. She's not. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. Hopefully it will be a good one.
  12. Although, I think she could definitely play that role, she is too old for Blake (Grant Show). They are like 20 years apart.
  13. That's a bit over the top. She should have told the truth, yes. But where is she "massively cruel and heartless"?
  14. Those ladies are very annoying. I can take Tamera and I've always liked Loni. However, the other two really irritate me. And Tamar was the worst!
  15. The stars were Chrissy Metz and Tina Turner. They forgave their abusers so the question was asked of the panel. Forget Wendy, how in the world did The Real get an Emmy nomination? That show is like a SNL sketch.
  16. Great, great turnaround from the last episode! I liked this entire episode. I was happy to see Grace's assistant again. I loved all of Karen's jokes and uppity humor in the cake shop. That worker in the cake shop was fantastic in her role. Will & Jack's scenes were great.
  17. I like Kandi but I have to call her out when she is wrong. She's very hypocritical to call Kim out for her cursing when Kandi did the same thing to Porsha last season when she told Porsha to "piggy back her ass on up". Porsha didn't curse at Kandi. Kandi led with the fowl language. I agree that Kim curses way too much, but I have to call as spade a spade. Especially with the lighter hair.
  18. I so agree. I like them together. I also miss the After the View sessions with the audience. There they could talk about any topic and not have to hear that horrid Valley Girl voice or deal with the other shenanigans of the moderator.
  19. I so agree. This has gone downhill fast. The bit with J. Lo was a waste. And I was excited to see Ellen but I didn't like her story line either. Maybe they need new writers or something. I've only enjoyed a handful of episodes.
  20. Actually she said, "We'll get her back when we get her back". So who knows how long that will be.
  21. I really wanted to see more of the Mo'Nique interview. They should have had 2 segments. I was surprised when Whoopi stopped Mo'Nique when she equated her accepting a low offer to the Me Too Movement and told her she was expected to promote Precious. There was so much more that could have been asked. Tamar was not right for a co-host. A guess maybe, but she's not the right fit for The View. A little bit of her goes a long, long, long way.
  22. Thankfully she didn't do that today. I always hit mute when she does that. But, if you watch with mute you can still hear it in your head because she uses the same mannerisms when she speaks that way.
  23. I had to watch that scene twice before I noticed that was her. She looked like a totally different person. I was like who is that?
  24. I never did. Jedediah had a sense of humor. She didn't take everything so personally. She could criticize Trump. And she was able to get along with the other hosts. I guess they only went with Meghan because of her famous last name/father. Who makes these bad decisions?
