  1. She sat next to Paula for a while. Maybe that's who you remember. They've switched chairs so much back then.
  2. His hair has been horrible of late. I hope he fixes it soon and gets back to looking like the adorable Sunny of days gone by. I love the two together. I actually prefer Sonny with Paul over Will #1 and Will #2. It's been a long time since they were given scenes where they can actually be more affectionate. Maybe this has to do with the writers and the limitations on how much emotion they can display. However, back when Paul first ran in to Sonny their chemistry was electric. Plus they were so adorable together. Paul is such a good guy. That body and awesome smile and good looks of his paired with Sonny's sweetness and good looks was a perfect match.
  3. I can't see her leaving w/o saying anything. I don't think she was making fun of her picks. I think Whoopi did that to add a spark of excitement to the segment. She did the same thing with Sunny.
  4. Thanks for the recap. "Lunch is always on us" was the line that cracked me up. My guess is that if it comes back it will be early 2018.
  5. The season finale was enjoyable. I loved the way Maxine went off to jail. I can't remember what she said but I remember it had something to do with promoting The Lunch Hour. That was awesome! If the show comes back I hope her son doesn't go to jail. I really like the character. And if Mo returns maybe she won't be so loud. On the other hand, maybe you need that dynamic. I like Tichina but she does tend to play the same role over and over. I liked the role that Tasha Smith (even though she often plays the same role too) played on the show. She was similar to Mo but not as abrasive. Other stand out moments for me was Brad being proud of his daughter Ella, the return of Kristen Johnson's character and how when it comes down to what's important the ladies really stand behind one another. Hopefully we'll get at least one more season.
  6. That's what happened. That came across to me as rude and disrespectful. However, to be fair she didn't hug Sunny or Whoopi. And Jed has stated that she is not the most social person so maybe that's why the hug didn't happen. Also, was Jed and Raven ever on at the same time? Whatever the case may be, it came across as rude. This kind of thing happened a bit with Elisabeth too back in the day. I don't get why she constantly feels she has to reprimand Sunny. She did the same thing to Paula. I guess Sunny is able to take it though. I don't think I'd be as easy going about it.
  7. The Valley Girl is the one I hate the most. However, she did that one and about three or four other voices yesterday. It was too much to take. And yet she had the nerve on more than one occasion to tell Sunny to "quit acting and just tell the story" or "get that look off your face". But she can make whatever strange face or voice she wants. She can be such a tyrant at times.
  8. What was Whoopi's deal today with the onslaught of different voices today? It was a nightmare. I don't think I've ever muted and skipped through an episode so much. That "tool" or hers has become very, very old and unfunny.
  9. I can agree with you that Sharon has said and done some vile things in her personal and professional life. And as stated earlier, I was not happy when Leah and Holly were let go. I felt it was cold and backhanded. But what's done is done. I felt the same way about the Star Jones thing back in the day. But everyone has moved on.
  10. There was more obnoxious behavior than that "table episode" in that 9 min. clip. They seemed like they were often out there a lot. Plus, I read the section in Leah's book, Troublemaker about her experience on the show. She admits that she and Holly were involved in some type of deal or experience behind the scenes that was seen as the final nail in the coffin. I can't remember what it was but she states that she thinks this is why they finally got the boot. I actually like both ladies. I've liked Holly since 21 Jump Street and Leah since Saved By the Bell. But, maybe they had it coming.
  11. I'll admit that I didn't like the way that it was handled. That sucked big time. They act as if those two never existed. Getting that out of the way, Holly and Leah probably had it coming. I only occasionally watched the show back then. However, I Youtubed a video of them. Just put "Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini The Talk" in the search box. There is a 9 min. 18sec clip and there is a shorter one at 3min. 31sec. They are dancing on the main table and being constantly being very disruptive. I knew Leah was loud but she is way over the top here. It was like "look ant me, look at me". If this is the kind of thing they did on a regular basis I can see why the were fired.
  12. Is anyone else tired of seeing Wendy's leg displayed all the way up past her thigh when she sits? It's not hot at all. It's actually kind of gross. I have to cover my that part of the screen so I don't see it. And another thing, she was lost way too much weight for the size of her breasts. It was already bad but now it's super ridiculous.
  13. If someone left, Carnie Wilson would be a great addition. And If I had to pick someone to go it would probably be Sharon. I think she talks more than anyone. Plus she can be a huge hypocrite sometimes. Since Aisha is leaving at the end of the season (I'm gonna miss her.), we'll soon find out her replacement in due time. And it's time to let the Leah and Holly thing go. They are not coming back.
  14. I know this was from last week but I couldn't let it go. This was so wrong but so funny. Just imagined if someone would have asked her this question.
  15. I cosign to everything you said. And don't forget there was no "Welcome to The View, Welcome to The View" 15 times. That's always a good thing on Fridays.
  16. Those scenes were my favorite of this episode.
  17. Allstate auto insurance does give its customers a partial refund for being accident free. So that wouldn't be so far fetched. I really hated these times. I like Paula a lot. The way Whoopi treated her was horrible. I had to stop watching when things got too heated. Whoopi can be fun and good for the show but get on her bad sad and there's hell to pay.
  18. I couldn't help but notice that. What are the chances of having back to back Conservative co-hosts who have a sensitivity to gluten. Is she for real?
  19. Yes, Star Jones said on a few talk shows that they were guaranteed 10 episodes. So we'll at least get that many. We'll have to wait to see if it gets renewed.
  20. I'm pretty sure she was talking about the producers, etc. If I was fired for no good reason, I wouldn't want a party either. I'm sure Elisabeth didn't want to pretend that all was great plus have a party on top of that.
  21. None of us knew for sure since she's never mentioned this before. However there were rumors back that she and Elisabeth were let go. They said if one goes then the other one goes too. Elisabeth kind of confirmed this on some show when asked about why she left the show. She didn't really answer the question but in not doing so she pretty much did. I guess this is also why she said she was done with the show and wouldn't go back and cohost or visit. It seemed the powers that be let both her and Joy go in order to change the direction of the show. Of course it all went downhill from there.
  22. I'm not sure if she did it when she first started appearing on the show. However, she was doing it when Barbara was still there. So it's been a long time. Right along with the valley girl talk, saying "welcome to The View" 10 times before the show, her know it all attitude, treating cohosts like children, etc., etc.
  23. It's more fair when both are at the table. That way it's not 4 against one. That's a more realistic view of the population.
  24. I thought it was going to be that Whoopi was leaving. Boy, was I wrong.
  25. So true. Once in a while is okay but it's almost everyday which is way too much. Give the guests 2 segments, have health based segments, spotlight little known stories or people, do a feature on the life of the cohosts.. I'd even prefer cooking segments to all the View Your Deal stuff.
