  1. You are my spiritual animal. I LOVE grape Big League Chew. The sour apple flavor is really good, too. Update on the Lucroy/Marisnick collision: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27169303/marisnick-suspended-2-games-lucroy-collision%3fplatform=amp
  2. OK, now that the competition and festivities are over...who were you rooting for?
  3. In case anyone missed it... https://www.mlb.com/news/carlos-carrasco-honored-for-cancer-fight-at-all-star-game
  4. A Tribe player wins MVP (Shane Bieber) of the ASG...only the third time that's happened in the player's home park. The only other ones to do it were Sandy Alomar in 1997 and Pedro Martinez in 1999. Way to go, Biebs!!
  5. Likely all of those, but most of all the WS...for sure.
  6. Yeah, it seems that they went for the sleeveless look this year. I think it would make more sense to wear the jerseys with "National" and "American" across the chest during the actual game.
  7. No, you're correct. The players observing were wearing them. The participants were wearing their regular jerseys.
  8. I'm still wiping away tears!!! #CookieStrong
  9. Buster...my heart bleeds.
  10. I believe I Remember Mama was broadcast live, so no episodes would exist.
  11. I was disappointed that Carlos Santana only lasted the first round of the HRD, but because he was in front of the home crowd he could have been pressing too much. I agree with the rest of you about the format. The whole thing went on for well over three hours. If MLB cut it down to an hour or so, there is so much less risk of these players wearing themselves out or potentially injuring themselves. In short, there has to be a better way to do this. But it was still nice to see the enthusiasm of these guys, who looked thrilled to be competing.

  13. I don't like those live action remakes of the Disney cartoon movies, period. It has nothing to do with the races of the performers, their acting, etc. I just think the overall look of those movies is just creepy...and I don't know how to explain why. Splash still creeps me out to this day, whatever it's worth. Sheryl was right to point out that these movies are fantasy, however. I'm glad she put that point out there.
  14. How about Providence (1999-2002, NBC)? Even DVD releases for it have been minimal.
  15. Yadier Molina speaks out on the collision: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/yadier-molina-furiously-calls-out-astros-jake-marisnick-following-collision-with-jonathan-lucroy/amp/
  16. This time, it will be a home series for the Angels. They are already raw and grieving. Who knows what will happen?
  17. Well, he did it!! Congrats to the Mets fans.
  18. Tell me about it...I was in my first year of college when that song came out. Last year, BSB did a fun version of the song with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots:
  19. I really enjoyed Me and the Boys (1994-95, ABC) with Steve Harvey. I don't understand why it was cancelled after just one season - it aired on Tuesday nights between Full House and Home Improvement, and finished #20 in the season's ratings.
  20. When I was little, I thought Johnny Rivers' "Secret Agent Man" was pronounced secret "AGEN" man, since the "t" seemed to be silent!! 😂
  21. I don't, either. I held my breath when he struggled to get up while the trainers were tending to him. What a horrible week it has been for the Angels.
  22. For All We Know - The Carpenters For All We Know - Donny Hathaway I'm Going Down - Rose Royce (and covered by Mary J. Blige) I'm Going Down - Bruce Springsteen I'm on Fire - 5000 Volts I'm on Fire - Bruce Springsteen
