  1. I guess it would be boring if you were a woman!! (Sorry, I couldn't help it!!)
  2. I concur. Patty Duke wrote an excellent memoir.
  3. Trevor Bauer lost it again!! He really is his own worst enemy. It's a shame, too, because he does a lot for charity and was so kind to my nephews at TribeFest (as well as the other kids present). It's a shame that his public reputation is built on moments like these, but he only has himself to blame. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/indians-trevor-bauer-heaves-ball-over-outfield-wall-in-mound-tantrum-after-being-pulled-from-dismal-outing/amp/
  4. Hey, they put everything else on pizza - why not bananas? 😂
  5. Bonnie lives in Chicago, but I agree she'd be a good fit. God bless Charo. I have a feeling Sheryl especially will give her lots of support.
  6. How about this? https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadspin.com/with-a-series-of-slowballs-stevie-wilkerson-became-the-1836724040/amp
  7. When she was five, my sister mistook the title and refrain of Chris De Burgh's "Lady in Red" as "Lady in Bread". It still cracks me up to this day!! 😂
  8. I was a very little kid when the admittedly good cover of "You Can't Hurry Love" came out. I had already spent quite a bit of time on car rides with my dad where he always played his favorites, like The Supremes. So I was very freaked out that Diana Ross sounded like a man. Of course, that was Phil Collins. I didn't yet understand the concept of covers. It's a good thing I did before he covered Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors". 😂
  9. I'm as baffled about that as you are. 😂
  10. If you look closely in "Married to the Job", you'll see in several shots that actress Courtney Vanderpoole (Kathy Kenda) is pregnant. She gave birth a few months ago, and the real Kathy and Joe were among her visitors!! ☺💖
  11. Karen was indeed a gigantic brat...so unworthy of having her own spinoff series!!
  12. Yes, and he also wrote "He's a Rebel" for The Crystals, which hit #1. Right behind it on the charts, unable to dislodge it from #1 was "Only Love Can Break a Heart". Gene sang that song but did not write it (I think it was a Bacharach/David song).
  13. When I was a kid... I thought that Hall & Oates' "Maneater" had to do with cannibalism. I couldn't understand why everyone seemed to love that song. It was funny getting to see them perform it live 20-odd years later for that very reason. 😂 I thought that when The Jeffersons theme mentioned "we finally got a piece of the pie", they meant real pie!! 😂 Finally, when I first heard "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves", I thought Cher really had been born in the wagon of a traveling show. HA!! 😂
  14. Again, Olivia Benson is the QUEEN of this trope. 😷
  15. Conversations - small talk, actually - can be so unbearable for me that I would actually use those flash cards. I did have to crack up at some of the topics he chose - "Organic Produce", "2004 Compact Sedans", "Reality Television", etc.
  16. I get embarrassed watching those type of commercials with my dad in the room - especially the ones for KY products. 😳
  17. Agreed, but I had to laugh every time the new alignment was referred to as "Three Men and a Baby". 😂😂😂😂😂
