  1. But it's getting colder everywhere, and he didn't need to wear that cloak if he didn't want to; he didn't on the rowboat. I don't think it's supposed to be hot. Everyone is wearing more layers than previous seasons.
  2. So, those old scrolls Sam has to copy... Targaryan family tree and a long lost marriage certificate, yeah?
  3. I just rewatched that scene- why do you say he didn't know? He wasn't surprised. All he said was "unfortunately for me."
  4. But that's the boat they took. I thought he said they took his ship, not boat, and he was overlooking the sea as he said it.
  5. How was Dany betrayed? Jaime explained Casterly Rock - he learned from previous mistakes to Robb, and didn't care about Casterly Rock anyway.
  6. But Tyrion did believe him. He said so when they talked outside.
  7. Maybe there were examinations in the meantime that we didn't see, and this was just the final one? If he was healing, then maybe they postponed making him leave?
  8. I think a fair amount of time passed. Jon didn't make it to Dragonstone overnight, nor did the Unsullied make to Casterly Rock that fast. And it would take days for word of Euron's attack to get back to Dany as well. They'd have to make it to King's Landing before anyone would know, then word back to Varys. Long-winded way of saying, I don't think it was overnight. Confusing, yes, but time did pass.
  9. Jon and Tyrion were probably my favorite part. Dany is slowly finally to grow on me, but I still don't see her as the "winner" at the end. Does she make decisions on her own anymore? I guess she doesn't have to and that is the roll of the Hand, but still. Guess I don't mind considering I like Tyrion better. Bran's homecoming was very underwhelming. I'm sure the character is supposed to be that way, but his dialogue is so monotone now. So... boring. Jaime... uh... is he good or is he bad? He needs to ditch Cersei once and for all and really try to be redeemed. I'm going to miss that crazy old woman. So upset the Lannisters win again.
  10. Exactly. Why is no one still on patrol? But no one really deserves to be demoted. They really did not need to add Upton.
  11. Sorry, I think my use of pronouns was confusing. I meant, when did Tyrion say that the Lannisters still had money? In last week's episode?
  12. I guess at this point I'm kind of hoping that Voight still gets in trouble for something, and while he's sorting that out and is demoted, Antonio is now in charge. And if that doesn't happen, then it's Antonio that teams up with Jay. But I feel like partnerships should have one experienced detective, and one "rookie" and that won't work if the only "experienced" people left are Antonio, Jay, and Al. Ugh. (None of the others are even "Detectives" yet, either. Unless Upton is actually a Detective? So maybe she gets Ruzek, haha.)
  13. I thought he knew that. When he was Joffrey's Hand, he knew there was no money anywhere. When did he say the Lannisters still had money?
  14. That's what I was thinking as well. They're cool with Tyrion, aren't they?
  15. We might be a little bit off topic here, but I'm curious to find out if the dragons can tell that Jon is a Targaryan right away. When the post above mentioned smell - will they be able to "smell" it on him, or use some other sixth sense that they have? I'm kind of thinking yes, but no human will really know why the dragons will like him and trust him. They won't put the pieces together immediately.
  16. I've heard the mole could have been one of the Iron Islands' men traveling with Yara who still had a connection to Euron. But it's not like they can just text each other, so I don't know.
  17. He didn't break his oath - it expired when he died. So yes, he was brought back from the dead, but that seems to be not that out of the ordinary anymore? I think it was mentioned at the end of last season, wasn't it? I don't know that Jon has to travel via stealth. White Harbor is under his own control, and then to sail to Dragonstone, he's sailing past the North and the Vale. Where are the Lannister soldiers going to be? I'd guess he just finds an unmarked ship and looks like a trader/merchant, but I doubt he has to be smuggled.
  18. Bringing the Vale's army and saving Jon and Sansa in the Battle of the Bastards wasn't good? I don't think Littlefinger is all evil. He's complex.
  19. At the end of the day, it took... what, 3 minutes? It was nice to see a scene that isn't all doom, gloom, scheming, military strategy, epic battles, or someone dying. It was also nice to see Grey Worm's butt. Just sayin'.
  20. I don't think Littlefinger just had a youthful crush. He was madly in love with Catelyn to the point that he's never loved anyone else. He's the Severus Snape of Game of Thrones.
  21. I understand your point about not having men at war, but I don't think The Reach is hurting for food either. I always thought that's where most of the food for the entire Seven Kingdoms came from. Which is why I also didn't quite understand Dany saying that they'd need the Dornish army to cut off supplies - can't Lady Olenna just do that with a proclamation? That has to be the majority of their food at least.
  22. I would normally agree with this as well, but it was just something about how her tank top fit that it was so noticeable and I couldn't help but be distracted. And by fit, I mean it was ill-fitting, IMO. Plus there are some pictures where she is obviously very cold. Also not a good look, IMO.
  23. Sophia is back in Chicago, visiting her friends who just had a baby. Who knows what else she is doing.
  24. I don't know if this is rumor, fan theory, speculation, or confirmed... Are all Stark kids wargs? Obviously Bran is. There was a hint that Jon is too, wasn't there? And maybe there was a hint for Robb as well, but I've seen nothing for Sansa. And I don't really have any idea what Arya is at this point...
  25. He's 5'8", and quite muscular. Not sure I'd call him either "short" or "slight of build." He's average height, and weight. I think they give him that cloak because it's cold, it's the north, and winter is here. He looked good when he was inside in just his leather armor. I bet that is what he'll wear when he meets Dany.
