  1. Ali was my episode one pick too. I’ve only gotten Adam right in all my Survivor seasons (maybe Ethan but that’s just because my teenage self loved him). She is definitely in trouble. That’s why if she finds a HII next week, she’s for sure going to the FTC. ;) I was thinking something along similar lines. I think Ryan knows Ali is a social threat. I think he’s thinking several steps ahead (possibly too soon) and knows he doesn’t want to work with her forever because she’ll be a threat to winning the whole game. Chrissy isn’t a threat. She doesn’t seem well-liked and did herself no favors at TC. She’s weak physically so easy to vote her out instead of Ryan who has done better in challenges that I thought he would but did pretty bad in this episode’s RC. She might be the perfect person to take to the end in his mind. I’ll stop talking about the winners edit after this post, I promise, but I don’t think Ryan is quite there yet. He’s very much like Cochran and Spencer in my opinion. Gives good sound bytes in his talking heads. Underdog. He’s a fan/student of the game. I think he’ll definitely be asked back for more seasons unless he completely crashes and burns sometime during this season. I don’t think he’s winning. I just think the producers and Jeff love him.
  2. Oh, for sure. Could have been just to shed some light on veterans and what they go through after serving. Ali is most likely to win based on the edit so far, in my opinion. But this was Ben closing in on second most likely. We’ll see!
  3. I said the same thing. When they throw something like that in, it either means he’s going home or #winnersedit. He didn’t go home so...
  4. I’m really enjoying this show. My mom watched the Korean version and was OBSESSED with it... I seriously hesitated to tell her I was watching the American version because she talked about it endlessly and I don’t need to relive those conversations. I echo everyone’s sentiments above. Best episode so far. Freddie is sensational and just adorable. The younger brother actor is outstanding. But I think my favorite moment tonight was Shaun’s “The “no biggie” gave me away” to Glassman. I was cracking up. My only qualm with this show is the surgeries. Bleh! The brain cyst was simultaneously fascinating and absolutely disgusting. I watched through my fingers. It was also nice to see Glassman be a surgeon and not just a board member and Shaun’s confidant. More of that please!
  5. Daaaaamn Derrick. Way to go, buddy. Beating Bananas who did not look good after the elimination. His face looked pretty red and swollen. Otherwise I would have thought maybe he threw it because life definitely looks easier in the redemption house. I’ve grown to like Cara over the years but yikes. This episode was not her best look. It’s a game. That sucks Jordan said guys don’t want to run a final with you but acting like a five year isn’t going to help your case. Britni’s hair drives me insane. Why? Why would she chose that look? A complete episode! A challenge. Nominations. And a full elimination! No cliffhngers. Keep it up, producers. This is how we like it!
  6. I always enjoy this week even though it is 100% producer manipulation on the audience. And I agree with @tessaforever that it usually brings out some breakthrough performances. The Lindsey dance got me. I lost my dad unexpectedly when I was 13 so the parent dances always have me sobbing into my pillow. I know she’s scoring well but i just haven’t really seen “it” with her yet. But tonight’s it’s the first time I thought she really did a great job especially when that must have been so hard for her. When she was alone in the middle of the dance and you saw her break, just for a second. Whew. Loved Jordan and Lindsay’s dance. That was topnotch. The choreography, the song, his sweet parents. Loved it all.
  7. Ehhhh. I was pretty ready for OUAT to be done and was watching it more out of habit as opposed to really being invested. I might give this a couple of episodes and see if it works its magic (no pun intended) like the first couple of seasons of the original did. Adult Henry was... not the worst. I do not care for Cinderella so if she’s the lead that does not bode well for me. She doesn’t seem like a good actress and they seem to be a mismatched pair. She even looks several years older than him but maybe my brain is still trained to picture Jared Gilmore. I never watched Burn Notice so I only know Gabrielle Anwar from the movie Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken. My sister and I watched that movie on repeat after our mom recorded it on vhs for us. It also starred Michael Schoeffling from Sixteen Candles. It was the best! I noticed the nod to Hook’s, uh, hook in the scene where he had the storybook and saw Emma’s picture. He had a black glove on his hook hand and his other hand was bare. He seemed to show the most potential for recognition of his past. We’ll see!
  8. I’ve wondered if anyone has ever thought to use that as a strategy. Act like a complete wackadoodle around camp (but still contribute during challenges and at camp; don’t act paranoid) but then show you’re completely normal and levelheaded in your confessionals. If people think you’re crazy, they might say stuff more freely around you, treat you like you’re an idiot and tell you their game plan so you vote accordingly to how they want, etc. You could potentially know a lot more and make moves as necessary. No one thinks you’re a threat and you go to the end because you’re a goat. Then you whip off the mask at FTC and show how you influenced the game all along. Its probably way too difficult to play a mental game with not just everyone else but also yourself so this will most likely never happen. I actually thought Debbie was pulling this act in her first season but she was actually insane. Maybe Alan is doing something of this sort. Time will tell!
  9. Lindsay and Jordan get my vote. It’s clear he’s had training but the kid is charismatic, seems like a hard worker, and has a good partnership with Lindsay. I’d rather see him kill it every week over someone like Nick Lachey who really seems like he’d rather be anywhere else. Plus, I really do think Lindsay is a great choreographer and she’s come real close to winning with guys who were far worse dancers. I’m hoping this is her year. Frankie has been a pleasant surprise and a real joy to watch. And he’s made Whitney bearable (though I wasn’t a fan even back in her SYTYCD days). I thought for sure Jordan would get at least one 9 so when he didn’t, I thought week 2 would be too early to bring them out and then Frankie gets one. Admittedly, I only watch HGTV in my dentist’s waiting room but has Drew always had his teeth/mouth dominate his facial real estate? I read he’s already lost something like 30 pounds since he started prepping for the show but his face almost looks guant. Has it always been like that? That said, he and Emma have a good friendship and he’s improving each week! I’m glad Alan got a shot at being a pro after subbing for Maks last season. I hope he gets another one soon. I’m surprised at the Debbie elimination but she wouldn’t have made it further than middle of the pack. Last thing: I do not see what the judges are seeing with Vanessa. Glad to know I’m not alone.
  10. Oh man. I did not see the confession of love for Kristina coming from Dean. AT ALL. Then he blames himself and tells the girls not to blame each other. Then he goes up on the stage confesses his love again (or actually just "strong emotions"... already changing his tune or trying to be respectful of the fact Danielle is right there too. Take your pick). He slightly, just barely, started to win us back over (or at least think he's not a complete dog and has started to mature a bit) and the Danielle just DRAGS him. How did he think she would not tell everyone they were hooking up after paradise?!? I try to avoid spoilers but I definitely saw pictures of them together at a music festival in Texas. I wonder if that was during the hiatus or after filming? Damn. I hope Kristina stays strong and moves along. She can find someone MUCH better. I didn't care for the Taylor/Derek pairing all season but he won me over with his proposal (and Jim Halpert-ness). Still not a Taylor fan and I think they have a long road ahead to actually make it down the aisle considering he had to rephrase his proposal to fit her way of speaking/interpreting (it was sweet but that's gonna get old real fast for him) and she interrupted him the entire time. Girl, it's obvious what he's about to do. Shut up and enjoy it. Not or a great season but it was pretty doomed from the start. Maybe next year will be better *shrugs*
  11. Ugh. I feel for Kristina. I've been on the losing side of a love triangle and it sucked. It was really humiliating and I didn't have it play out on national television. That being said, she is too good for Dean. And guess what? If he's having this much trouble committing to you after dating for 2-3 weeks (and I think they were probably sleeping together during the hiatus, he met her family, etc. so REAL feelings were coming into play for her, at least) and he's THIS conflicted with one of the ten other girls on the show, what is he going to be like in the real world? With girls throwing themselves at him in bars, on social media, whatever. It's better that it ended now and at least Kristina could walk out with her head held high. Dang Dean. How the mighty have fallen...fom Fan Favorite on the Bachelorette to looking pretty awful in paradise. I see Raven's point about not blaming Danielle but it all comes down to how close Kristina and Danielle were outside of the show. If they were close, that sucks. If she was simply just another girl on Nick's season, she didn't really owe Kristina anything because that's the name of the game. Dean's the loser who was stringing Kristina along and sending mixed signals. Kristina should have been open to talking to other guys all along. But Dean knew she'd always be there waiting as a plan B until he had to cut her loose to be with Danielle (who honestly doesn't seem that into him imo). And what the hell was Danielle wearing for the rose ceremony? Tan gaucho/capri pants and a beaded crystal bikini over a tank top???? This season sucks. And it doesn't help it's constantly being ruined on entertainment sites. Who's dating, who broke up. I thought they were suppose to keep these things under wraps. But I feel like Amanda and Josh were the first to be very public with their relationship last season while the show was still airing so I guess that's status quo now.
  12. First of all, the BiP editors/producers are the absolute worst this season. It's been five episodes with ONE rose ceremony. Ugh. It's just dragging on and on and on. It's pathetic to say but I honestly wonder what Jasmine thinks watching this back. Was she just drunk the entire time? Is she actually psychotic? I realize the editing makes us see it one way but it really seemed like Matt wanted nothing to do with her and she just completely ignored it (even before the other gal showed up) and forged ahead to the point that he removed himself from the show!! It's just really cringeworthy to see these girls just HURLING themselves at these guys for a couple extra minutes on tv. I hope it's worth it for a couple thousand more instagram followers so you can continue to shill FabFitFun and hair gummies. And I felt bad for Christin and how they were all mocking her even right in front of her. Even Wells (sweet Wells)! But girlfriend moved on quickly from Matt with Jack Stone who quickly forgot she did not choose him in the first place. I'm disappointed in Kristina. Dean is playing you. Dump him. Let Dean be with D-Lo who cannot say two words without giggling. You're too good for that chump. Can't she give Ben Z a chance?
  13. Man. Between S saying "chickens" with her dying breath and the ducks on This Is Us (not trying to spoil anything), who knew poultry would be so devastating on television in 2017?
  14. I read it as wholesale jeans. Those jeans appear to have holes in them. And they are going to be for sale. Ta da! Wholesale!
  15. Man what a disappointment. The season started off strong, got a little weak around the trial, and then went to absolute hell once the trial was over. So Linda Cardellini really didn't want to be in a third season? She was basically absent in the last half of the season. And what was the point of the brown haired girl. Beth? Was she basically a stand-in for Nolan's mom since she disappeared in the third season? She looked just enough like a younger Evangeline Lilly (who is already pretty young) that it distracted me every time she was on the screen. The rest of the time I was wondering what was the point of her character. I didn't have an eye on the runtime so I thought that Nolan was definitely going to kill John when he found out he's the reason his dad is dead. He would push John in anger and John falls off the pier, hits his head, knocked unconscious, drowns, whatever and it would be full circle with both Sarah and Danny's deaths in water. I mean I'm glad Kyle Chandler survived but I would have liked a little bit more of a definitive resolution.
  16. Was this entire episode a fever dream? Nothing made sense. Maybe it will all come together in the last two episodes but man, I am so lost right now. Are they all going crazy from the guilt so nothing is making sense anymore? I don't see how Ozzy was necessary to the plot at all this entire time. Nolan's mom disappeared for the third season. He should have gone the same route.
  17. If John Rayburn was portrayed by any actor other than Kyle Chandler, I wonder when I would have given up on his character. But because it is good ol' Coach Taylor, somehow I am still on his side. I know it's wrong. The lying, the bribing, the murdering. But I still want him to get away with it all. Am I missing something or was it weird Kevin said it was good for him that the jury was more male than female to Belle on the phone. Because the men would be less likely to sympathize with the good looking dead cop. Um. You're supposed to be the eye witness Kevin. You're not on trial for murder (even though you did actually commit this murder). It seemed like Belle also thought this was weird. Four more episodes to go and see if this meant anything.
  18. That's funny because I agreed with your earlier post that there is just something missing with Peter. He seems nice enough and maybe he's just pretty low key like you said but he doesn't immediately jump out to me as the winner. Hopefully all those folks on society media aren't reading spoilers and ruining it for the rest of us. I'm all for speculation!
  19. Ugh. Another season of To Be Continued "cliffhangers". I don't know why they pull this garbage. Are there really that many casual viewers of the bachelorette that leaving them hanging one episode is going to get them back the next week (or set a season pass on their DVR)? I want a rose ceremony every episode, dangit! On a happier note, I'm loving Rachel as the bachelorette. I was super excited when they picked her and she has not disappointed. I like seeing her lawyer side come out with the Demario situation. Dean had lipstick alllllllll over his mouth after their mini make out session. But I do find him attractive but perhaps too young for Rachel. Not sure who will win yet but that's refreshing since it was obvious on day 1 with Ben, JoJo, and Nick's seasons. See editors, that's how you get people to stick around. :)
  20. A storm knocked out my satellite for the last twenty minutes (you know, the actual interesting stuff) so I had to rely on Twitter and YouTube to see the results and reactions. Thank goodness for technology! Yay Emma and Rashad! I'm truly happy she finally got a win (or just a decent partner, really). It did seem like the narrative was turning in Rashad's direction last night but I wasn't quite sure he'd pull off the win. But I do think he deserved it. He improved throughout the season, worked hard (100 rehearsal hours more than the others!!), and I really enjoyed his partnership with Emma. Not the best season overall but happy with the ending! Others have mentioned Val's reaction to placing third but Emma and Rashad's reactions are pretty funny. The only video I could find on YouTube had the audio and video out of sync but you can tell the moment they say Normani. Rashad just freezes, slowly opens his eyes, and looks to the side like whaaaaaaaat. Being able to really notice that moment made not seeing it live almost worth it.
  21. I finally figured it out. Floyd is a real life version of Richard Splett from Veep. Sunny disposition, encouraging, never has a bad thing to say about anyone, and just adorable! It was so sad to see him struggling so hard and still trying his best. Heat exhaustion is no joke and there was no way he could have finished this leg even if it was a NEL. Sad to see him go. I agree with others who think Becca's Team Fun!!! deal was more of an act for the cameras (whereas Floyd was genuine) but I think they will definitely be asked back for an all-stars season. Fingers crossed! Scott is no saint but he deserves a medal for dealing with Brooke day after day and not just screaming at her at all times. I know he lost it a little bit during the mannequin challenge but I can't blame him. She whines about EVERYTHING. The weather. The traffic. The tasks. The other racers. Everything. I will be fine with any other team winning just so she can't (sorry Scott).
  22. I just can't throw my support behind Sarah even though (from what they are showing us) she IS playing the better game for two reasons: 1) the dumbfounded look on her face at all times. 2) the fact that she really does seem to simply react to what others tell her and vote how her feelings tell her to (she called me a liar! She has to go even though she was my main ally) as opposed to planning and executing. She seems way too wishy washy and the fact more people don't want her gone baffles me! Man. What a blunder by Cirie. but the Michaela interview does shed a lot of light on the situation if she didn't get to read it beforehand. I think Cirie is definitely the smartest player out there (but that's not saying much with who is left). She is always thinking a few steps ahead and I think she was truly the brains behind the women's alliance in Micronesia. But the fine print got her this time. And Aubry. Sigh. What a disappointing season for her especially after she was robbed of a win her first try. I read either on here or twitter that returning players tend to play like the winner of their original season. How ironic would it be if Aubry ends up winning because she made the most relationships and pissed off less people. The only difference between her and Michelle is Michelle was on the right side of the vote most of the time and Aubry had been on the losing side. If the girl can make it to the end and have a good final tribal performance and the jury is bitter (and I think most of this jury will be) she has a chance. The only thing standing in her way is her edit. :/ If it is a Brad/Tai/Troy final 3 it will be the worst final 3 in the history of the show. Let's hope at least one of the girls sneaks in there.
  23. I involuntarily awww-ed when the engagement ring was on the arrow. But then lost it laughing when the actor playing Robin apparently couldn't show up for a day of filming and they had to use a voiceover for his proposal. I'm not sure how I feel about this reboot for season seven. I've been watching the show more so out of habit than actually wanting to watch it probably since the Frozen storyline. Maybe an episode or two and if it's not like old school OUAT, I can just pretend the wedding (minus the last minute) was the series finale and be content.
  24. Happy CT got the win! He can joke about his #dadbod all he wants but the boy is FINE. I know he's had his issues but he's really seemed to chill out over the last couple of years and fatherhood brought out a great side of him. I'm not fan of Ashley by any means but at least she didn't berate and blame her partners the entire time like Camilla did. Girlfriend is such a sore loser. I don't think I've watched an episode of the real world since college back in 2009 but I just love these challenges. Like others have said, I think they really botched this season and could have done a whole lot more with the champions vs underdogs theme. Please Challenge producers, never make the champs face off and pick each other off when there is a whole other team they can decimate. Learn from your mistakes.
  25. I loved the return of Cirie FINALLY happened tonight. Then I immediately worried all the focus on her meant she was about to be voted out so I'm glad she survived two tribal councils. If this is the quiet beginning to her running this game, I fully support it! This was also the first episode where I really noticed they are losing weight. I know they get a lot of food rewards but Cirie and Aubrey were looking especially thin in the face. I think it's amazing that at least twice Zeke has told the person in trouble of going home the truth and an alternative plan and they immediately do not believe him! The kid must not be as strategically saavy as he thinks he is. And now he's blown up his own game since I am assuming that he was not included in the Ozzy plan since he voted for Aubrey. Or was that to fool his own former alliance into thinking he was still with them? But that didn't make sense since they were voting for Sierra originally. So he got played by Sierra, right? Ugh. And Sierra can go yesterday. She thinks she is way too important when the fact of the matter is she wouldn't even be on this season if Natalie hadn't cancelled. I agree with the others who think Brad is letting her do his dirty work and keeping his hands somewhat clean. Sorta sad to see Ozzy go but it was obviously going to happen sooner rather than later.
