  1. A challenge AND an elimination? In the SAME episode?! AND it got rid of Ashley? We have been blessed! Zack is the worst again with that complete manipulation of Jenna. Jenna, you’re better than this, girl! Even if he didn’t cheat, the whole argument was gross to witness. And that’s how he talked to her when he knew he was being filmed. Yuck. I think Davonne is my new favorite. “That’s a hard pill to swallow. Let me go and get you some water.” Amazing.
  2. This season looks promising. I’m excited! I’m so sorry to say this because I do think she’s a cute girl but Nany straight up looked like Michael Jackson in her first talking head. It was startling. Honestly, the lighting for most of the girls during those is awful. They either look dirty (Cara) or their powder was very obvious (Nany). Jenna looked different too. Has she lost a lot of weight or did she have work done on her face? Cara is just pathetic. It’s just sad at this point. She needs to step away from reality tv for a loooooong time. Ashley is the worst but I did chuckle at her threatening the guy that she’d pick him as her partner and then drop out of the entire competition. And Davonne’s (I think that’s who it was) SHE STOLE HER PARTNER’S MONEY exclamation after Ashley was selected by her partner was absolutely amazing.
  3. Might be an UO but I enjoyed the finale. I think it showed SOME improvement compared to seasons past in terms of challenges. At least there was an endurance task that lasted for hours. And they ran quite a bit. I’m over the gross food challenges. I don’t need to see Joss puke in slo-mo. But also, it seems like it’s just them barely trying to consume something and just immediately spitting it into a bucket. What’s the point? If the producers must keep it, I’d rather have them eat A couple of gross things and they absolutely have to keep it down. No puking or there’s a penalty. I do wish there had been a puzzle of some sort. But it seemed to my limited memory that these tasks were more reminiscent of the tough finales of previous seasons. Has a team ever cried that much at coming in second (not counting Sarah)? Pull yourselves together, Joss and Sylvia! I get that it’s a million dollars but it’s your own fault that you trusted another team with your own game. Never voluntarily step down. Sylvia is the worst so I’m glad she lost. Joss is so pretty but he was obnoxious this season so I was not rooting for them. I don’t see how Ashley could have won but another site I read said he was penalized for falling off of the rope ladder and she finished faster than him in one of the runs. *shrugs* CM and Marie coming completely undone. Natalie going back on her word. Sylvia sobbing. Ashley taking the money. Hunter sobbing. And they didn’t make us sit through a two part finale and reunion show before finding out the winner! It was entertaining to say the least. oh and I think I’m officially over Cara. Her hissy fits at Marie were just ridiculous. I get being competitive (and wanting to win) but yelling at your partner (who has a history of performing poorly) ain’t gonna help anyone. And her absolutely freaking out about Paulie possibly getting the grenade? Have some respect for yourself, girl. He’s not even your boyfriend (yet). You do have to wonder why it didn’t even occur to them to throw it at Hunter and Ashley.
  4. Wooooooow. Put a nail in the coffin of this show. It is dead. I like Sharna. I’ve wanted her to get a win and thought she deserved it other seasons. But this sucks. And she knows it.
  5. Seeing Scott Wilson after his recent passing was TOO MUCH for me. That was my favorite part of the episode. The green screen was awful but that sunset was gorgeous. I honestly haven’t enjoyed watching this show for, what feels like, 4 seasons at this point. I don’t know why I torture myself. But they do they just the sliiiiightest bit to keep me interested. I thought that Rick’s death would be enough for me to close the book for good but no, they couldn’t even give me that. They had to have a magic helicopter save him. I might give it to the mid season break just to see what happens with this time jump but then I might be out for good. Oh and I read on EW they originally had Negan also stand up and talk to Rick from the pile ‘o dead bodies. THANK GOD that TPTB showed some sense and nixed that scene. Could you imagine the revolt?
  6. Thanks a lot 9-1-1 for making me care about a fictional character that got less than thirty seconds of screen time. You couldn’t wrap up all the stories with a bow and give me a three second clip of the boy at the church being reunited with his mom?! I was waiting for that moment in the montage. You let me down. This show was never at the top of my watch list on my dvr last season but I’ve really enjoyed this season’s start, especially the earthquake episodes. I don’t 100% buy Athena and Bobby together (yet) which makes me a little sad. I blame Peter Krause more though. I still see him as the dad from Parenthood and it’s easier to see him in that role than a badass firefighter. And he’s a little one note here. I’ll say this though... dude had some serious guns at the end of the episode. Not sure if wardrobe got him a smaller size shirt than usual or if he’s been hitting the gym but they. were. there! I wonder if the Ali girl who was rescued will end up being in a love triangle with Buck and the new guy. They were initially adversaries (in Buck’s eyes) who are now this dynamic rescuing duo and seemingly friends. It’d make sense to create tension between them again but I hope they don’t go down that path. She’s definitely ending up with one of ‘em. I’m glad Hen lived. And rescued the little girl. We all saw it coming but I’m glad it happened.
  7. Yikes. I wanted Annalise to get her comeuppance but that was AWFUL. I get you have to be a special kinda person to go on not just a reality show but a dating reality show but how stupid is Kamil?! What producer was able to convince him to break up with the girl in front of a studio audience? How could he have thought that could have gone even slightly okay? Even Arie is probably thinking the dude took it a step too far. And Grocery Store Joe... I’m not mad. I’m just disappointed.
  8. Is it wrong that I CANNOT WAIT to watch Annalise get rejected? I felt bad for her on Arie’s season and how she was the producers’ constant punching bag for jokes. It was even the case for the first half of this season. Then she latched on to Kamil (because she had no other options) and she became super cocky and the all-knowing narrator and holier-than-thou. Wonder how she feels watching this in real time and seeing he’s pretending to be interested to her face but to the camera he is showing some serious hesitation and saying they’re just friends. Maybe I’m wrong and they’ll end up together but I really doubt it. The Astrid/Kevin break up was tough. They seemed so normal (for this franchise). But Kevin confuses me with his James Marsden looks at time and his caveman looks at others. Joe, Kendall does not deserve you. You’re precious and any girl will be lucky to have you. Please DO NOT date anyone from Bachelor Nation. You’re too good for this.
  9. Do they get paid for each day they stay? Do they make more money the further they make it? Even if that’s the case... Shushanna. Get outta there girl. This is embarrassing. No amount of money (or instagram followers) can be worth this humiliation on national television.
  10. Jacqueline. Girl! What is your hair care routine? What products do you use to withstand that humidity? As a fellow curly haired girl, I NEED TO KNOW. And how she handled Colton’s rebuff? She just shot to the top of my favorite contestants list.
  11. Well that episode was more entertaining than Becca’s entire season (and I liked Becca). Like everyone else, I’m already over the Tia and Colton garbage. Tia is so confusing. At times, she’s really pretty and at other times, girlfriend looks ROUGH. At least she got rid of the gray streaks framing her face. Let’s all just be grateful we didn’t have to suffer through a season of her as the bachelorette. Could you imagine if Colton had been on her season? It would have been absolutely awful. I think the producers are putting their eggs in the wrong basket. Clearly Tia is suppose to be the new Raven who was the new Jade. Tia is not going to cut it. I was ambivalent about Kendall on her season but she seems very refreshing here. Sure she’s a little quirky but she seems like a sweet, genuine person. I like her and grocery store Joe together. Wills seems to be BFFs with all the ladies but no romantic connections yet. He was always sitting and chatting with someone. Maybe there’s hope for him and Astrid who seemed to be together a lot. I don’t remember what the bet was about (I think Colton) but I had to laugh at Jordan’s “I’ll bet you fifty cents” remark. The guys a doofus but entertaining in this medium (for now). Bibiana can go. I do not get her appeal. She clearly believe she’s the star of this season but girl, you are mistaken.
  12. Cara... yikes. That was embarrassing to watch. She’s had an interesting arc on this show. Underdog to bullied to badass to winner to ....this current stage. Cmon girl. Have some dignity. At the very least don’t say it’s just to make your ex jealous. Think it but don’t SAY it! Joss, I’m disappointed in you. Amanda. Really?! Love him or hate him, you had to root for Johnny shutting down Kailah. She is an idiot. I agree @LaurelleJ in the beginning you felt kind of bad for her because she was getting ganged up on but she really does seem like an insuffferable person. Joke’s on her. She was lounging around like the queen bee, drunkenly ranting and raving, and most likely thinking the producers love the drama she brings and they’d never get rid of her for just pushing someone. And now she’s out. Bye girl! I knew when Jenna, Britni, and Jemmye were first out there’d be a redemption house. I wonder if it had been three Big Brother/Ex on the Beach pairs if producers would have scrapped those plans. And I need a gif of Derrick’s head popping up when Bananas was spying in the doorway on Kyle and the new girl. Absolutely hilarious.
  13. I like Becca and was glad she got to the Bachelorette over Tia but this season is slightly boring so far. And it doesn’t help that ABC didn’t do a fantasy league for whatever reason this season. That strangely kept my interest levels up because I wanted to see how many questions I got right so I actually watched the show. Will they eat key lime pie or chocolate cheesecake? Will the group date be football or soccer? It’s just sort of been on in the background so far for me this season. I also truly hate the Franken-biting as Sharleen from JP’s season has coined it. Hey producers, if you have to piece together words from six different sentences to get Becca saying something as mundane as “I like him. He seems really thoughtful” you either need to: 1) Get better technology so it’s not so wildly obvious you’re splicing together audio or 3) Fix the show if you have to put together different sentences for such a simple statement. When they don’t show Becca or a guy actually saying the full sentence, they also lose credibility (but I recognize most reality shows do this). Hopefully things pick up as the group gets smaller. A lot of these guys are just filler and some have not even had one sentence in a talking head. I’m pretty sure the banjo guy from the night she was announced as being the bachelorette is still there but we haven’t seen him other than getting a rose so he obviously isn’t going far. Blake, Garrett, Colton, and possibly Wills seem like a strong final for right now. And I miracously have not been spoiled this season so far. Oh and Jason from certain angles is a poor, poor, poor mans version of 90s teen heartthrob Andrew Keegan. It might mainly be the hair but I see glimpses every now and then.
  14. I don’t read spoilers but I think they heavily telegraph those who make it towards the end in most seasons. They have a story to show the audience. Who is the mastermind, the underdog, the nerdy one, the biggest challenge threat, etc. I thought Laurel, Dominick, Wendell, and kellyn were shown the most. Donathan disappeared for a bit in the middle of the session. I thought for sure Kellyn would make it to at least the final three based on editing in the first few episodes. I do wish the editors would lose the “ironic statement” confessionals ie “There’s no way I’m going home tonight” only to get voted out later on in the episode. I think it was Dalton Ross who said if he was ever on the show as a contestant, in every single talking head he would say “I am 100%, without a doubt, going home tonight”. I think the editors are getting SLIGHTLY better with not showing their hand every time with those kind of statements. When Probst emphasized Donathan being in last place in the maze challenge and Angela being in last place in the pyramid puzzle one, I thought they were setting us up for the come from behind win for both. So I liked that being straightforward as opposed to ironic.
  15. I swear. If this show ends with P&E seemingly driving off into the sunset to safety, just to have Renee pop up from the backseat and slit their throats, I’m going to be seriously disappointed. With the number of times she’s been name dropped about her possible job at the FBI, she has to play some part but if it’s a last second shock as the screen fades to black, I’m going to be mad. I never even considered they would try to go and get Henry and Paige to take with them, wherever they go. Maybe Paige since she knows stuff (and is a loose end who would fold like a lawn chair under interrogation) but let Henry be happy on his own like he has been for the last few years. This show has had its ups and downs over the years but I’m really going to miss it. And the excellent conversation, history tidbits, and previous episode callbacks all of you posters provide!
  16. A tie!! Yes!! I never thought it would actually happen but I’m glad it finally did. And I think Dom and Wendell were certainly more than deserving of being the first pair to force a tie. I was pulling for both but ultimately think Dom played the better game so I was a tad disappointed. He was a bit brash at TC with the fake idol play but he knew they were trying to take him out and it worked! He had serious cajones not to play the real idol. And Sebastian had some nerve to act all offend (and Kellyn can take a thousand seats as well) WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE DOM OUT. Wendell giving Laurel immunity was just a symbolic gesture. Only Donathan voted for her. So he played it nicely to the jury but I don’t think she thinks Wendell saved her. If anything Dom did by taking her to the F3. I thought it was interesting that Wendell said he was “sort of” athletic. Maybe he was downplaying it but the guy was almost mesmerizing in challenges. He was almost always was out in the lead from the start and had good endurance in maintaining the lead. He also had this weird grace about him and he almost always stayed calm and collected. I enjoyed watching him compete. I feel like this cast has the potential for several returnees in future seasons. Dom and Michael for sure. Maybe Donathan or Libby. And unfortunately, Kellyn.
  17. Adam’s freestyle was a hot mess. I feel like Jenna was trying to emulate that ponytail/braid/lip couch dance from her season of SYTYCD that got a lot of hype and she failed miserably. It was weird to end the show on 9s when even Tonya got straight tens. That said, I think Sasha put together a good freestyle. I liked Josh/Sharna’s but was a little underwhelmed compared to her dances in previous seasons. The freestyles seemed shorter compared to previous finales but I assume that’s cause they only had an hour (however, Adam’s dance seemed to never end, it was that bad). I’m still not a fan on Erin. She seems to mess up all the time or has no idea what’s going on and just shrugs like “Whoops. I’m still adorable”. I didn’t watch other seasons with other ladies in her role but there has to be someone better out there who doesn’t produce such cringeworthy interviews all season. Welp. This season happened. Let’s hope it never happens again. Only possible way they could do another short season could be with contestants we’ve seen before and have DWTS experience. I’m still hanging onto hope that James Hinchcliffe will come back!!
  18. I fully admit I did not care for kellyn on the show. And her ponderosa did nothing to change my mind. She seems very Taylor Swift-y where she thinks everything she does and says is amazing and her reactions are really over the top. Like her monologue about the mirror. Please stop. You are not saying anything insightful. I appreciate she’s such a big fan of the game but no. Just no. And the thing with the bags (we did that when I was at summer camp over a decade ago) was just too much. Did she bring all of that stuff with her or did production provide it? She just seems exhausting to be around and I’m really surprised everyone (including the press) seems to like her so much. But as she told us at least three times in her nine minute video, everyone was really excited she was the one there because she’s super fun. I haven’t thought Libby was exceptionally pretty until this episode. She looked absolutely gorgeous talking to kellyn. If that’s how she looks waking up, there’s no hope for the rest of us.
  19. It’s almost like in Laurel logic either the tied votes would cancel each other out and therefore not count (not the case) or folks would be so torn between Dom and Wendell, they’d vote for the third. It made no sense. I hope there’s a tie at the FTC one of these days. I want to see the third person break the tie ever since we found out that’s the final tiebreaker.
  20. I think Laurel wants Dom or Wendell to take out the other so she doesn’t have blood on her hands. I know they’ve had a good partnership but I think Dom is more likely to cut Wendell loose, knowing he’s a threat at the end. Wendell seems more loyal to a fault. I also don’t understand Laurel’s thought of “y’all will split the votes and I’ll get the rest” at the final tribal. If there is going to be a ten-person jury, and 4 vote for Dominick and 4 for Wendell, you don’t win in that scenario, Laurel. Maybe she was just trying to say something to ease their fears but I feel like she said it in a talking head too. I guess it could go 3-3-4 but I don’t think anyone is THAT impressed by her gameplay and THAT bitter with both boys. We shall soon see!
  21. I like the family visit but I’m an emotional sap. I would never go on Survivor because I like being comfortable and don’t want to be judged by millions of people but I’m sure the lack of sleep, showering, eating, and basic comforts while being constantly covered in bug bites, sand, and dirt along with being paranoid at all times you’re about to be voted out and always having to be “on” in conversations with folks both in and out of your alliance has to be exhausting. Add on you’re competing in physical challenges on little food and water, you’re probably ready to break at all times, just under the surface. So seeing a loved one who you trust and you don’t have worry about them stabbing you in the back is an absolute relief. I think the loved ones’ reactions can be a little over the top but I’m sure it’s jarring to see the players after losing weight and being dirty/smelly and maybe some happy tears from disbelief they’re still in the game all these days later! That said, I still side-eyed dominick’s wife’s reaction. He isn’t dead. You’ll see him soon. Calm down, lady. I do miss having the loved ones compete. Dare we forget colby’s “Damn it Reed” constant reprimands during that water throwing challenge during HvV. That being said, you always, ALWAYS lose this challenge on purpose so you don’t piss anyone off. Frankly, I wouldn’t try too hard to win any individual rewards so as not to be put in that position of choosing. Group challenge...win! Individual...hope my alliance mate wins and picks me. That said, Wendell made the right move taking advantage of the advantage and it looked like his dad fully supported that. You can chat after the game. Do everything you can to ensure there’s a million dollar check with your name on it while we’re having that conversation though. :) Glad my dream final four (Dominick, Wendell, Laurel, and Donathan) live to see another day. And while I was sad to see Michael go last week, I forgot I’d still get to see his beautiful face on the jury ever week. Yay!
  22. What idiot came up with that challenge? Probably the same one from last season who wanted them jumping on cars covered in water while suspended in the air. It was obvious after one or two rounds no one was going to score with both guys and girls out there at the same time. Or just having that huge number of player out there at the same time. Why didn’t they play in heats of 3 or 4? So stupid. I know Devin is grating on some but his fakeout made me laugh. And Mike’s reaction to Devin just booking it while people were confused. I hope the pay is good because Aneesa keeps getting hurt yet she keeps coming back. You’d start to thinking her earnings would solely be covering her medical bills at this point. She gets injured all. The. Time. Mike’s reaction to Ashley’s freak out was also great. He was losing it. I don’t mind him as a host but I know that’s an UO.
  23. There are some elements of this show that are good... or more so have the potential to be good. But they are just making a lot of mistakes in my opinion. If they really wanted to have this ridiculous love triangle, I wish they just would have had Stella be engaged or something. The fact that she’s married and the doctor is still hitting on her this hard, really is ridiculous. Especially when the husband is likable! Maybe the writers want you to root for Wes? It’s just... Weird. Ugh. I seesaw about whether or not the guy playing the brother is a good actor or not. I thought he was best in the flashback at the dock telling Stella she was brave. But the rest of the time, he’s just not great. And I’m not sure if that’s suppose to be because he’s such a screw up or intoxicated or the dude just can’t act. Plus he reminds me SO much of this guy I used to watch on YouTube who is an actor (not in any super well known roles) that I’m convinced that guy (Justin James Hughes) must have been in the running for the role. And I almost think JJH would have done a better job. It’s just hard to root for this family. They all make really dumb decisions. The sister was missing for 4 episodes so we don’t really know her. The brother was an idiot and I don’t feel bad for him getting caught at all. I don’t understand why the dad is still living in their old guesthouse and the new owners are okay with him throwing a dinner party in the backyard. Very little makes sense on this show. I think Lucy Hale has a lot of potential to carry a show on her own but the creators/writers are doing her no favors here.
  24. I fully admit I don’t remember everything that’s happened in this show so this is mainly speculation based on this season where Stavos looked skeptical in a lot of his scenes in my opinion. But the, what seems like, 95 billion business trips P&E have not actually gone on but used as cover along with these “big clients” that always have issues in the middle of the night might seem suspicious if Stavos is in any way aware of these cover stories. Or the lack of money coming in from these so-called big clients. He might not be aware at all. They also disappeared for days at a time to run different operations like when they pretended to be Tuan’s parents. But maybe that’s normal for owners of that type of business. I have no idea. And they discussed a lot of their dirty work in their office with just a shut door and some blinds as their soundproofing. Maybe he’s overheard stuff but that’s a reach since we haven’t seen evidence of it. Its all guessing and probably will amount to nothing. I’ve just been questioning it this season so I was happy to see some others doing so as well! :)
  25. Thank you! I was scrolling through wondering if anyone else thought something like this. @MissBluxom too (sorry... I lost your quote somehow). I think Stavos is going to play some role in P&E going down. At first, when the successful travel agency was suddenly having money issues, I thought maybe Stavos was stealing from them. He seems to be highlighted in a lot of episodes (as much as a side character can be). So when Philip was looking over the books for hours, I thought he’d find that. When that wasn’t the case, I don’t see why P hemmed and hawed for so long about firing people. If you’re having problems, that seemed like an obvious solution. Granted I would have gone last hired, first fired but that’s just me. I just think Stavos is going to be a piece of the puzzle. Either Philip is going to survive this while ordeal just to be taken out by a disgruntled employee at the end of the show (and that will be a sucky ending) OR Stavos has been there for a long time and he’s seen and overheard some stuff that he knows isn’t right (even if it’s something small. Not necessarily “I think my boss is a Russian spy”) and he’s going to get them on the police/FBI’s radar. Just my two cents!
