  1. I admit I have not been the biggest Jenna fan in the past but she won me over this season. I was sad to see her go. Ashley and Amanda are THE WORST. I'm not buying the Camilla/Cory pairing. Is this just so they have an automatic "strong" partner for the next battle of the exes season. I say "strong" because doesn't Cory tend to choke in high pressure/endurance situations? Come on MTV. I'm going to watch the next episode. Enough of these stupid cliffhangers. Do better.
  2. Wow. I legimately started sobbing when Rashad went to hug his dad. The dance was good but that moment. Whew. I thought almost everyone did quite well. But I'm ready for Erika and Bonner to go. I like Sharna but this will not be her year (why couldn't James win, why?!) I'm pulling for the David+Lindsay pairing or for Emma to finally get a mirrorball. I wish Rashad would show a little more personality/emotion outside of the dancing. He still seems a little monotonous to me (but not Bonner level monotonous). It worked producers! The tear-jerker moments made me care more about several contestants. Congratulations, you successfully manipulated me.
  3. So Peta was Corinne during the dance...Nick was all over her entire time and then picked Vanessa at the last second.
  4. Whew. That episode was all over the place. Huck is alive. Yay? I thought the slapping scene with Liv and Abby was pretty terrible. And the torture scene. If Charlie who tortures for fun had to look away, it's too much. Shudders. It might have been cheesy but I liked the scene with Charlie and Olivia. But that could be my residual love for the actor as Brian Mackenzie in the Father of the Bride movies that I absolutely loved when I was younger.
  5. Man. I've been wanting Sandra to go because it was just so obvious she needed to yet no one would pull trigger. But, dang, if I wasn't a little sad when it actually happened. She was a real character (her look directly into the camera last week killed me) and played a very good game. I definitely got a little scared for Ozzy. That would have been a real disappointment if Malcolm, JT, and Ozzy all went out in a row. I know JT kinda sucks now. My heart still hurts about Malcolm. Tai needs to go. I don't necessarily think he is unintelligent (see: finding two idols in two different camps) but he is such a loose cannon. I loathed him his first season and he's done nothing to change my mind. He would have been the first one I wanted out if I were on this season. He changes his mind on a whim and blows up others gameplay right in front of them. Glad to see Aubry finally got some camera time. Let's hope it's the beginning of her running this game because girl was robbed her season. I have no idea who is getting the winner's edit so kudos to the editors for finally keeping us guessing (but I'd have to say Hali if I HAD to pick someone right now). And I liked seeing Cochran. Definitely unexpected. I thought it would be Richard Hatch. Cochran made some pretty good self-deprecating remarks about this episode on Twitter tonight. I can appreciate that!
  6. Darrell!! So happy he beat Bananas. Not to go all drunk Laurel but he really does seem like a nice, humble guy. I don't know who I love more between him and CT. They're the best. I hope they both win/get money in the end. CT pointing to himself saying he could over Hunter's shoulder during H's tirade was so, so great. And his dancing in the club. So great. I'm over the Laurel and Nicole story. I know editing is at play but it's not putting Laurel in the best light since it seems she was very much Nicole's second choice. And if Nicole loses her voice for the rest of the challenge, you will not hear me complaining. Looking forward to the bloodbath next week. My guess is two go home from both the boy and girl underdogs. And no more champion eliminations! Please! I need CT and Darrell to stay forever!
  7. This last season is a real head scratcher for me. I feel like the writers just pinned characters and storylines on a board and threw darts at them to create plots. It's hard to believe this is the last season and this is how the show will end with rushed plots and half-hearted storylines. And watching the ATE, they are explaining things they are not demostrsted in the episodes at all in my opinion. I know others are praising Lena's acting in the diner scene but her crying face takes me completely out of the moment. Same thing happened last week when she cried after the phone call to the baby's father. She quivers her lip and it just drives me nuts. I think someone praised her crying face once and now she does that every dang time and it seems very practiced and calculated. Not natural. But maybe it's just me. Like @Giesela I don't get all the Jessa hate either. And her breakdown in the bathroom made me a little emotional. I think she truly cares for Adam. And might be pregnant with his baby? That's how I saw it and a comment by Lena in the ATE maybe confirmed it?
  8. I'm glad the show is back. I hope this isn't the last season since it kept getting pushed back and the day/time slot kept changing over the last few years. But I'm glad it's not on Sundays so I don't have to say my DVR to record for additional hours in the event a game ran over (and sometimes it still wasn't enough extra time). Off the bat, I liked the cop/ firefighter team and Matt and Redmond. Team Fun is going to wear me down quickly. I watched this episode with my 13 and 14 year old nieces who have become HUGE survivor fans over the last two years so I thought I'd introduce them to TAR. It blew their minds that the racers were not allowed to use their phones for directions or Google. I don't know if they've ever truly seen someone use a paper map to drive instead of GPS. One niece also asked why the racers didn't just take an Uber (when they were in a taxi). Sigh. Kids today.
  9. Or maybe Sandra makes it to the end similar to how Russell did both times. Everyone HATED Russell because he was an awful, arrogant troll and knew they would beat him in the end. But that didn't fit the producers story of him being awesome and amazing for finding the HII without any clues. So they didn't include any of the interviews with people saying they would drag him to the final tribal knowing they would win with ease. I know they toss Sandra's name around but she had not received any votes yet. Maybe everyone is taking her to the end because everyone else agreed (ahead of the game since most know each other in real life) there is no way they would vote for her to win a third time. It could be a freebie at the end with the final three, knowing she won't get any votes. Or final two. Pleeeeease be a final two.
  10. Wow! That does ring a bell. Thank you! :) Couldn't have placed that actress if you paid me but the plot you outlined sounds familiar. Thanks!
  11. This season had been so boring but I sure was paying attention the last few minutes. I was pretty sure Meg was bad. The camera seemed to linger on her hands shaking when she came over to Huck's to "celebrate". And then they were going over the top with how much Huck has changed. Could this really have be his swan song? doubt Huck is dead but he is one of the not so great actors on the show. But everyone's acting isn't that great these days because it's just. so. bad. And I have zero recollection of Becky. I gather she used to be a love interest of Huck's and probably entered up being b613 but I have NO memory of her.
  12. I honestly don't remember the last time I was THIS disappointed with a reality show. Why, Malcolm? Why?! It was great TV but why?? I thought he was getting the winner's edit treatment but now I see the editors wanted to get him in as much as possible in these first three weeks before he got the unexpected boot. I doubt he would come back for a fourth attempt (looking at you, Ozzy). I don't think there is any way Sandra wins a third time. I'm almost feel like Hali, who was such a nonentity her first season, is getting way too much focus. Maybe she ends up winning. But I'm worried about my girl Aubri who has been practically invisible up to this point. It was a crappy end result but but oh so entertaining leading up to it. You got me, Probst. You got me.
