  1. I'm just getting caught up and I have to agree that it didn't look like Dean. They captured Sam and Castiel pretty much perfectly, but if I didn't hear the voice and see the clothes, I would never have known it was supposed to be Dean Winchester. Jensen's a very handsome man. He apparently meets the Da Vinci golden ratio for perfect facial proportions. So why was he so difficult to capture? Anyway a fun episode. Sometimes we need a lighter episode toward the end of a season to lighten the load. But this season (and the last) have failed to ramp up much peril or tension. We've got a gaggle of mustache twirling baddies and the usual dilemma of finding weird stuff for a spell. When it comes to 'coarse language' I have to smile that we can witness head loppings and guts spurting but Dean is forced to say things like "I couldn't poop for a week". Heavens to murgatroyd our tender ears should hear the terrible word - shit. I'm from England where 'Son of a Bitch' is not a popular expression, but I find it extremely insulting... far more insulting than saying 'fuck' actually.
  2. This was frustrating to watch. The parents seemed so defeated and helpless - yet this is their line of work. I kind of got the impression they weren't all that keen to take on the toddler and newborn. They never mentioned custody (I don't think?). I'd be petitioning the courts daily. Those children are in imminent danger. The girl is either on drugs or requires a diagnosis for some sort of mental illness. Never mind the endless yelling about nothing, her expressions were weird and almost schizophrenic. I wonder if there will be a follow up?
  3. They got the shoulders but looks nothing like Dean otherwise.
  4. I wonder if this bunker is nicer, cozier and possibly more secure than the one they've got now?
  5. I wonder if Dr. Now knew about those infected teeth before he operated. Look after your teeth - not just for looks, but for general good health. I find cleaning my teeth after a meal tends to stop me wanting a sweet treat.
  6. So many characters this season, I'm going to need a cheat sheet for reference. Also a list of what can or cannot kill the baddies.
  7. I couldn't get past those decayed teeth. Yikes! It must've been agony to eat, it's a wonder the pain from those teeth alone didn't cause him to loose weight. It's true that the bed bound obese, living in messy depressing rooms, never getting outside - seem to fail most of the time. I guess eating is their only pleasure in life. But surely their teeth are ten times worse? Dentists don't make house calls. Both brothers will be attractive guys once the weight and skin is off. Like others have commented - I don't see a future for David's marriage unless she loses weight too. She seemed bored and disinterested by the process. Dr. Now is looking old and bent. How old is he?
  8. I haven't been following this voting - is it a Canadian thing? But they're going to have to widen all the doorways so Rich can get his head though now.. LOL In terms of writing - I honestly cannot get into most other shows on these lists. This is Us is sappy and not my cup of tea I'm afraid. And try as I might to love Lucifer (big fan of Tom's) it's just becoming more silly and boring. All I know is that I'm not much of a TV network series fan - but Supernatural captured me for some reason and has never let go. So there has to be something. I'm definitely not the rabid fan type. We have to remember that a writer writes a story and then it's changed and chopped about a dozen times which is probably why things seem WTF sometimes. It all has to fit in 42 minutes. TV is really one long commercial interrupted by Shows after all. Anyway congratulations to winners - but Baby was robbed!!
  9. Please stay in touch @Iju as you move through the seasons. I'll be interested to hear what you think. All is not as it seems. (It must be difficult for you to visit this board and not be spoiled).
  10. Lucifer must have a lot of dedicated fans. I cannot believe his car won over Baby. Baby is another character alongside Dean and Sam , she even had her own episode. I didn't even know lucifer had a car. So wrong ????
  11. Thank goodness! I thought it was only me! I used to have some clue, but now it's hard to keep up (or even care).
  12. It's like the entertainment circuit suddenly woke up and realized there's this little show that's outlived most others and it's not even ensemble and has this huge passionate fan base that's done awesome fundraising and stuff and has these charismatic and talented actors and steady ratings. Its about time we got noticed. Yes, it's good for our guys to get their faces out there.
  13. Oh, so sorry to hear about your cat. She's beautiful. I have a 16+ year old kitty cat too. When I cry she brings me her toys.
  14. I laughed out loud when Dr. Phil asked what he'd do if for some reason both parents disappeared from the planet and his response was " I'd phone my uncle in NY'
  15. I don't follow the series as closely and properly as many here - but isn't Cas only wearing her father? Her father is dead. I was lucky enough to have a very wonderful dad, but it'd be very unsettling to see him walking about, but it's not him. And how does the angel grace affect the dad clothing so it doesn't smell and cleans itself? Kathryn is a very fortunate woman. She has cornered the market on morose cranky teen. Hopefully working with some prestigious names will help her with her acting abilities, because I've only ever seen one expression. Yes, indeed she should send a fruit basket and thank her lucky stars too. However it appears she's a nice girl and everyone seemed to enjoy her on set. I can't see her spending too much time on the WS set. Maybe an episode all about her, and then just cameos?
  16. I think they sung forever young to Jensen with clips of Dean crying thru the seasons. Of course I respect privacy, but I'd love to see a sample of that. Jensen just doesn't age so a very appropriate song to sing. A night to remember for a very deserving and fortunate man.
  17. I became a fan in 2012 and kept it pretty quiet which was easy because no one it seemed had heard of the show or Jensen Ackles. Supernatural or one of its stars always won every contest that required votes. We won the cover of TV Guide years ago and the two announcers embarrassingly had no clue when the win was announced live. Entertainment shows concentrated on the usual 25 celebrities and my little show and its stars were never mentioned, although we won the tweets for the week, conventions were sellouts, we won all the contests, we won People's Choice almost every year, etc. (No awards presented on live TV, tho) But now after all these years my little show and its stars are being noticed. Jared and Jensen are an interviewer's dream, funny and charming, no awkward silences with these two. I'm going to be out of the country, so I hope it's all on YT. Yay!
  18. I watch Lucifer and didn't even know he drove a car. (I wish he'd be a lot more devilish) I agree. I can hardly watch most hour long drama (hospital, law enforcement, family, etc) series offerings because of the dreadful overwrought acting and sappy writing. Yet these shows get the ratings and the attention. Maybe it's me... but night time TV is becoming as soapy and soupy as daytime TV (IMO of course). I was forced to watch The Blue Blood (or whatever) at a friend's house ... OMG how does this sucky unrealistic rubbish get such high ratings? Of course I'm biased, but Supernatural suffers more from unimaginative writing than affected acting. I seem more able to enjoy horror or supernatural fodder for some reason (although I can no longer watch X-files because of Gillian's scratchy voice and TWD is now an illogical mess)
  19. I've never seen any of them in the flesh - but people have said that both Jared and Jensen appear thinner than they do on our TV. (Might be the 5-6 layers of plaid).
  20. I'm going to miss the ScoobyDoo episode as I'll be on holidays. But if the whole episode is cartoon, then I'm not bothered. But it all better start ramping up soon. ??
  21. I wonder if they'll give Corey a cameo? I honestly had no clue who he was... But he might bring in ratings?
  22. Yeah that's what I meant, pick a time and stick with it. Daylight saving is probably best as its lighter in evening. I live in Canada and in dead of winter you drive to work in the dark and you drive home in the dark. Never see daylight. hope you feel better @catrox14 you are a staple at this site. ?
  23. I do appreciate it when they find a case that is a bit more different and interesting. Renters, dog bites, loans - getting a bit ho-hum.
  24. I've never seen or even heard of The Maltese Falcon, I had to look it up. Thanks for this info. I enjoyed the episode. I'll enjoy it a bit more now knowing that it was a sendup of what appears to be a very well respected movie. Wow. I'll have to check if it's available on Netflix, although I have a hard time staying interested in old movies. The acting is usually so wooden and forced
