  1. LOL maybe Cas and Charlie fought against their reapers allowing Ezekiel the time needed to heal them before they moved on while this guy said yes within seconds and that’s why it was too late to resurrect him. #randomheadcanontoexplaininconsistency
  2. Not that surprising really. Like I’ve said before Dabb doesn’t believe in letting Sam and Dean do dubious things. He leaves that to Castiel, Mary and now Jack so the brothers can come out squeaky clean.
  3. And I didn’t fully rule it out either! I just said I’d personally wait until we got word from a more reliable source like Guck or Jack himself before taking the words of a demon too seriously but YMMV
  4. How does Asmodeus know that though since Jack is the first of his kind? And if he considered Jack so knowledgeable then why’d he play on Jack’s naivety to get what he wanted out of him? Until we are given a more concrete source such as Guck or Jack admitting he’s been playing them all along I’m taking a demons word with a pinch of salt.
  5. Thanks for clarifying! Also the unrounded ratings are out! Supernatural ................................. 0.647 ... (0.679 ... 0.614) Arrow ............................................ 0.463 ... (0.479 ... 0.446) Sooo close to the 0.65 needed to round up to a 0.7! I would just love to see #MySupernatural tick up this week!
  6. The difference between Jack and Amara is the fact he was a new life conceived nine to ten months ago* (in show time) during sex between Lucifer!Jeff and Kelly. While Amara was an ancient primordial being shoved into the body of a human. Amara was still shaped by her experiences prior to her “incarnation” (for a lack of a better word) while Jack’s time in the womb and his few weeks on earth as a man are all he knows. I also think the show has been trying to add an edge to the character of Jack by having him talk about not feeling what he should be feeling during 13x04 and then attacking Cas, Dean and Sam at the end of this week’s episode. * I’m not sure how much time has passed in verse since his birth during 12x23 and the end of this week’s episode.
  7. You know reading on here and twitter it struck me that Jack is becoming the Dean fans equivalent of Benny. In other words just as many Sam leaning fans (myself included) don’t like the way the show made Benny cuddly and good while in opposition to Sam. Many Dean centric fans seem to dislike the fact Jack’s being portrayed as mostly good but a bit naive because it makes Dean’s attitude to him in earlier episodes look quite unfair.
  8. I thought this was the last week of Sweeps? I could have sworn I remember someone ( @SueB maybe?) posting that Sweeps began with episode 3 and will end with this week’s episode. And I guess while #MySupernatural is not the Supernatural of those boycotting #MySupernatural matches the Supernatural of most casual viewers ;)
  9. I don’t watch DCTV, but I do like to watch ratings in general and IIRC last year the other DC shows were propped up to Flash levels for the crossover. However, the Flash received no boost from it, and the other shows dropped right back to their normal levels the following week.
  10. Welcome to the Jack club -passes icecream (or whatever treat it is you like)
  11. Agreed on both counts! I was beginning to think I was the only one who liked Jack!
  12. I’m so happy the episode kept the 0.6! Of course it’ll be hard to guess properly until the unrounded ratings come out, but here’s hoping the high viewer count is a sign we won’t adjust down :)
  13. Maybe his God like powers allow him to know that Sam and Dean possess Starring character invincibility LOL
  14. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/more-tv-news/black-lightning-bolts-onto-the-cw-in-january/ The CW has announced the mid season premiere will air on Jan 18th
  15. Misha Livetweeting last nights episode Misha and Alex engaging in a bit of Destiel shipping #brokebacknatural haha
  16. You've me thinking thinky thoughts.... As I was saying in the non spoilery speculation thread, based on the number of appearances thus far (Cas will have made 6/11-13 of his appearances, Jack 7/11-13 of his and Lucifer 3/13 of his by midseason) we are in for a Cas and Jack lite second half and a Lucifer heavy one. Could it be Cas feeling protective of Jack that leads to him removing Jack from the bunker explaining the reduced appearances of both throughout the second half?
  17. Oh, so another Cas vs the Winchester's story where Cas is ultimately depicted as the bad guy, oh joy! This really doesn't cheer me up haha
  18. I corrected the post because my wording was atrocious, but yeah I fear a Lucifer heavy second half is on its way based purely on the numbers haha
  19. Based solely on the fact a series regular typically has 11-13 episodes I'm predicting a Lucifer heavy second half and Jack's role will drastically drop. Considering 4 of Castiel's 11-13 appearances have been wasted already I'm anticipating him not having a great role this season. So far Jack has been in episodes 1,2,3 and 5, which leaves only 7-9 episodes available for the second half depending on whether he appears in episodes 6-10. Castiel has been in episodes 1,3,4 and 5. which again leaves only 7-9 episodes depending on whether he appears in episodes 6-10. Lucifer on the other hand has only been in episodes 1-2, which leaves him with 9-11 episodes and a minimum of eight episodes of the second half if he were to appear in eps 7-10)
  20. Considering Dabb's inability to allow Castiel to do anything outside of screwing up I'm going to speculate Cas does something to upset Jack and that's why he disappears by episode 7!
  21. Depending on how much of a deal is made of the fact Cas is supposedly the first being to come back from the empty, he could also be referring to the fact they’re both outsiders even amongst their own kind. Jack is unusual for a nephilim as he is much more powerful than one due to being born of an archangel rather than an angel and Cas is unusual because he’s the only one to come back from an angel blade stabbing. I agree! It would make sense for JARED to want Ruby/Genevieve back, but definitely not Sam. I’d say no thank you to a Jessica revival. I’d hate to see some sort of Samelia part II and her return brings back old feelings for Sam and he’s torn between a life with her and hunting with Dean until he ultimately picks Dean. The only way I’d be remotely ok with her return is if S14 is indeed the shows last and a life with Jess is a part of Sam’s happy ending LOL
  22. I assumed the box was one of the magic nullifying boxes the mum of the shopkeeper from Out With the Old put the cursed objects into prior to her death. Wasn’t the rabbits foot from Bad Day at Black Rock also contained in a box like this?
  23. The screams of Dean also gave me flashbacks to the final scene of S3. I think Dabb (and Jensen if it was his choice to make the screams so similar) may have been trying to convey the idea of killing Sam is Dean's personal hell. I dont think the black eyes were ever explained? I personally think it was a further part of Dean's anxiety. He was so worried about becoming a demon again that his mind was playing tricks on him. It's that or Rowena created an illusion to throw him off balance. ETA: Cas was a badass in a Dabb episode? Are we sure he actually wrote it? Something is seriously amiss here. Ive always assumed the Inside Man referred to was Bobby. He was the man inside Heaven who helped Castiel and Sam break Metatron out of heaven.
