My opinion about Lucifer is as follows: - His initial plan was to focus on getting custody of his shiny new toy Jack. In order to achieve this he planned to offer Sam and Dean an exchange. He’d give them Mary in exchange for Jack. - However, Lucifer then learnt of the existence of AU Michael and found himself weakened. Lucifer is a selfish creature by nature and shall always put himself above others including Jack. - This means his priority quickly shifted from attaining his new toy to surviving AU Michael. This is why he abandoned Mary. Her only use to him, helping him to get Jack was no longer of interest to him. It is why he is willing to work with Castiel and why during their conversation he bluntly states “I know custody of my son is a no go”

SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters
Wayward Son replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Supernatural
Beards make all things better. #lovesbeards -
Logic and the bronly anti-Cas crowd on twitter are often two things that don’t go together. The fact Neilson have said they won’t count Thanksgiving ratings should be enough to show its an actual factor, but alas like I said logic and those people don’t go together.

SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters

Going to also post this in the tweet thread but I wanted to post here first to say Mmmm Misha has an amazing pair of arms! He's always been handsome, but he has definitely gotten even better this past year or so :D -
Oh yes he did say that! Never mind then. I’m gonna have to agree with @catrox14 it’s a plot hole. It’s that or when pushcomes to shove Lucifer puts his own safety before having a chance of establishing a relationship with Jack.

I assumed Lucifer was keeping her around as a just in case. He probably intended to use her as a bargaining chip to get free if the brothers came snooping through the rift. You know hold her as a hostage and threaten to kill her if they don’t help him get through too. However, during this episode, he was presented with a different way of returning to our world and he jumped (literally) at the chance.

The Unrounded ratings are out Supernatural ...................... 0.334 ... (0.347 ... 0.321) Arrow ................................. 0.346 ... (0.355 ... 0.330) So at least we shouldn’t drop to an even lower series low.

I think describing it as a crash is a bit much. The ratings are down this week due to it being Thanksgiving. It’s the same as how the flash fell from its normal 0.9 - 1.0 when it aired on Halloween night. This is also supported by the fact Neilson themselves have stated last nights ratings wont count for end of season statistics etc. The only remotely plausible explanation for the Empty entity to pose as Cas is that he has come for Jack. It would make sense to me if he decided to come and eliminate the being that woke Castiel up in order to ensure its sleep is never disturbed again. Wasn’t Adam resurrected by Michael and the angels rather than Guck?

Ratings are in! A series low of 0.3 as I speculated earlier. Good thing the ratings won’t count eh. Due to thanksgiving the finals will not be released until next Tuesday.
-
I’m anticipating a series low of 0.3 - 0.4. Not because of the episode itself, but because of it being Thanksgiving. The good or is it bad news? Is the fact Neilson and the networks have said they’re not counting last nights rating in show related statistics. All the shows that aired tonight not just Supernatural I mean.

Ugh, if this mystery contact is In fact Lucifer and we are back to Cas lying to the brothers within two episodes of his return then I think I may as well just quit. At this point Castiel under Dabb is becoming more and more a character I find hard to like. At least under Carver he seemed to be developed, but Dabb has just regressed him to liar that lies and moron who gets nothing right.

Another thing about J2 is the fact they also spent a lot of time doing the con circuit. That’s great for us fans, but it also must take away a huge chunk of time with the family they don’t actually need to lose. It could just be a case of J2 are trying to ensure they have enough to last them a lifetime in the event their acting careers don’t go as well as they hope post SN. Not that im saying they won’t do well after the shows end. I’m just saying acting is a very unpredictable profession and they might just be raising as much as possible just in case. Maybe I’m a horrible person, but I guess I just don’t feel sorry for J2 because they spend a lot of time away from their families they don’t have to spend apart from them.

Yeah, from what I understand Vicki (Misha’s wife) and the kids are only 2-3 hours away from Vancouver. So Misha still gets to spend quite a bit of time with them. Especially during periods where he doesn’t appear for a string of episodes. I honesty have no idea about Mark Pellegrino’s living arrangements and I think Alexander is single.
-
I don’t know if the show continuing should really be considered to blame. At the end of the day Jensen (and Jared, but I’ll stick to just Jensen since that’s who your post was About) is making more than enough money to buy a property in Vancouver for Danneel and the kids to live in. He isn’t working some low paying job that keeps them apart by circumstance. They’ve all chosen, for whatever reason, to not have the family move close to him for the 9 months (or whatever it is) of the year he films.

While I too worry we may discover Cas isn’t actually Cas but the Empty!Cas. I do have one question? Did Jack actually resurrect Cas? As I understood it Jack “woke” Castiel, but the actual return to Earth was caused by the empty so it would be that being rather than Jack he’s tied to? I also would be happy if Cas were lacking in grace. At least if that meant he got paired with some interesting human characters instead of generic angel of the week when he’s a part from the brothers.

As I understood it Crowley diverted his path right away. Bobby died via the flask burn, the rogue reaper appeared and he was taken straight to hell as opposed to heaven. I don’t think the show ever implied that Bobby was initially in heaven, but Crowley got a reaper to snatch him from there.
-
That sounds about right to me. As I understand it there are ten hell years for every month on earth. I got this from the fact Dean spent 40 years in hell, but only four Earth months there. So we know there was a year between Bobby’s flask being being burned and the opener of season 8. So that means Bobby was there for at least 120 Years. However, was the period between 8x01 and Sam rescuing Bobby in 8x19 really only three months?

No, they did worse than Sam hurting Benny’s feeling. The only instance of Benny killing people, we were shown on screen, was the result of Sam setting Martin on Benny. So instead of Benny killing because Sam hurt his feelings Benny killed because Sam set up a scenario where Benny needed to kill in order to not only defend his own life, but the life of his great grand daughter. Id hardly call that an advantage to Sam when comparing the situations.

He is definitely a wake. There is a scene of him holding the Dark zones dagger before he is interrupted by WHook.

I don’t really mind on set stuff for the simple reason we don’t see it (beyond the usually awesome gag reels) and it doesn’t really affect fans in anyway. IMO Cons are different for the simple fact fans pay a ridiculous amount of money to be there and therefore they should be given what they paid for. Oh geese! The three of them must have been really bad for it to reach that point, that or Nina has far less patience for messing around than most directors haha
-
By all accounts Jared, Jensen and Misha are all equally as bad as each other when it comes to on set shenanigans during filming. If there was to be a talk it would need to be to the lot of them and not just Jared IMO. Plus, I don’t think the crew really mind the joking around. I think that related atmosphere is said to be a part of why they all get along so well and work together.

See IMO there’s a big difference between other actors occasionally crashing a J2 panel, or J2 crashing a solo Misha panel and something like this. There’s something like a 100 of those a year so the occasional crash is no big deal. On the other hand, fans who want a Jensen and Misha panel get a handful a year a best. I think JIBcon is the only big con to feature a Jensen and Misha panel and this was the very first one at a Creation Convention. So yeah it wasn’t appropriate for him to crash this one in my opinion and I’m glad Creation allowed the panel to continue to make up for the time lost.
