It reminded me of a bit in a Bill White sketch when he was getting kicked out of a bar "I don't know how many (bouncers) it was going to take to kick my ass, but I knew how many they were going to use".

The insurance between Young Sheldon and TBBT are massive. The only thread is Sheldon seems to be a dick in both

Fully agree. I could never stand Amy or Sheldon, both were just horrible. And I hated the idea that they were some great perfect couple. Of course they were "perfect" Amy gave in to everything. They all have in to almost everything Sheldon demanded. And early Amy was way better than anything Howard ever did.

Neither the Goldbergs (on right before) or this show are Chick Lorre productions. These are the two cards I get at the end of this show. ETA: you know what though, there is a little blurb right after the Goldbergs final production card andbefore Abbott starts that had a line about this episode being a work of fiction. It's white lettering on a black background. I wonder if that what you're thinking of. Not sure what show it's for though.

Well that was annoying. Guess I'll be watching the last few moments on On Demand.

S48.E16: Quinta Brunson / Lil Yachty
callie lee 29 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
I forgot Quinta was hosting this week and missed it (I'll try to watch later), but did her time on Buzzfeed get brought up anywhere? -
Victoria! Thank you. And yeah she's Australian (or maybe New Zealand??) Anyway, I like her.

Ehh. Most comedies seem to be made up of assholes. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has nothing but assholes and it's going on it's 16th season. It seems only recently are shows spotlighting everyone is pretty decent (which I also love). Personally I enjoy the show and while I think pranks on general are dumb and annoying (including all the ones they did tonight) I thought the rest was sweet. And Patel sorting a different side from his normal stressed out dad persona was fun. And I can never remember the British woman's name but I really like her. She and Joel McHale have really good chemistry together.

The People's Court - General Discussion

All due respect to MM but the utility company where I live does require the name on the bill to match the name on the lease. Your have to submit ownership or your lease when your apply for service. -
S04.E16: Mmm, Fresh Baked Sock!

So according to this site there is an oven involved! -
Lol. If it had been one of my good pens I may have considered it. ETA: at that time it was TUL gel pens in different colors.
-
@iMonrey weirdly having worked in local government, I can see someone stealing it. It looked like a nice one, heavy. I once had someone take my nice and heavy red stapler. I went through offices and stole it back. And don't even think about taking someone else nice pens. That's how people die.

Nope I heard it too.

Can I just say how really glad I am they didn't take the typical way or and make Tariq an asshole? Sure, he's definitely got some issues and was NOT a good boyfriend, but he's not really a bad guy, you know? The fact that he showed up to help, has done it in the past, and really hyped the parents up, he's got layers. I like that.

I'm thinking the fairy is Jamie Gertz

I didn't like the sister. I know we're probably supposed to feel bad for her and sympathize, but I dont care, she was a hard no for me. Ten seconds after she walks in to Janine's place (which is a lot cuter than I remember) and starts silently judging it and then ditches her sister/host for friends? Fuck that. And I already know I'm not going to like the mom. I know nothing about basketball, are the Sixers a good team? BYOBG is being your own black Gregory. That was funny.

You ain't alone.

Yay, it's back! The Simone/Noah thing is a little ridiculous but I don't see it lasting that long. It did give us the hysterical bachelor party (and subsequent race to the courthouse) on the train though, so something good came from it. I wonder if the restaurant got new glasses. I noticed the wine glasses Fay and Nikki were drinking out of had an orangish tinge with a more sharp angled bottom to the bowl. Pretty.

S01.E03: Track 3: Someone Saved My Life Tonight
callie lee 29 replied to AnimeMania's topic in Daisy Jones And The Six
Just watched all three and I'm hooked. I haven't read the book but I requested it from the local library so I'll start it this week. I don't really care about the show/movie matching up to the book they're based off of so it'll be interesting to see how they compare just from an enjoyment standpoint.- 8 replies

Wow. That was really, really awful. At the end I don't care who the serial killer is as long as they killed Velma at the end. I was here for Glenn Howerton, but even Dennis can't get me to another season of this.

Finally finished the season. Overall it was fine, not great, not horrible. Way, way, way too much focus on Garcia (bailey was annoying but I would have traded job for her in a second) but I've never been a fan so I'm not that objective. As to who is behind the door? Anyone on the current team doesn't make sense, even in this fucked up CM universe; AG seems to obvious; Reid is too fanfic-y. If it's someone we've seen already, my money is on Rebecca. If they really want to go out there (and throw people into a trail soon) go with Hotch. 100% crazy idea, but WitSec has got to be boring after all this time and Jack is grown by now. (I also miss a Thomas Gibson so there's that...😊)

This is why I like this show and others like it. The Neighborhood, Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, Home Economics, Grand Crew, and so many others feature just nice people. They're still funny but no one has to be mean or edgy or a jackass. I like all the characters here. And I liked Neecie. I liked the differences between her and Tina. (And I say this as someone's who's favorite comedy is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

I think they started last Wednesday. If not last week it's this week. (per podcast) -
This was excellent. Funny, sweet, ridiculous...all the things of Night Court.
