  1. I didn't think Ryan is at a billion. Aviation sold for around 600M and Mint for a little over 1B but I don't believe he was a full owner in either of those. I could see him at 500M. Is be curious if he and Blake are both listed as owners in her mixers & seltzer label or if it's hers only.
  2. So apparently Macy Gray is going on tour later this year. Still don't get the comedy angle though.
  3. Yeah I believe it's been renewed but everything got delayed because of the strikes.
  4. I don't think so. I was wondering the same thing so I even researched it at the 11pm hour too and never heard anything.
  5. Yeah I both watched M*A*S*H and played MASH as a kid so close on time frame. Personally I still don't know who did it but I hope it's Loretta. I really cannot stand her. I dislike her just about as much as I disliked whoever the other girlfriend in jail is (can't remember her name).
  6. I'm not a big fan of Theo (not really a fan at all) but I did appreciate them keeping up the episode 7 tradition. He can go back to wherever he's been now. It was nice seeing Uma and Lester again. I always love seeing all the other Arconia residents. I'm glad Oliver and Charles realized they fucked up with Mabel but did I miss something? Did they not realize that she was moving out did they maybe just forget or not pay attention?
  7. I know that he was most certainly does the line but I'm going to actively choose to believe that King Charles watches It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia because the very thought of him knowing what a poop knife is fucking awesome.
  8. I'll be honest, I didn't miss Meryl Streep. IMO, unpopular opinions, I think she's the the issue I have this season, every time she's on camera all I can think is "why is Meryl Streep in this scene", heck I just watched both episodes 3 & 4 tonight and right beforehand I read the thread on the last episode and had to think who Loretta was. They went to the White Room well too many times. Once was funny, two and three not so much. It sucks that they turned Joy into a loon. She was fun last season. Cinda may be a bitch but she ain't wrong with what she said to Mabel. I still wouldn't turn my back on her
  9. In my humble opinion (and having watched NCIS LA) yes it was a much, much better show. Still pissed it got cancelled and that clusterfuck original one is still on.
  10. Me too. I think for a lot of the audience, including myself, one may have started watching because of the owners (I came here because of Rob and it's always sunny) but I stayed watching for the town and all the people they highlighted. One thing they could do is show some love to the Wrexham women's team (also owned by Rob and Ryan).
  11. So this is a huge reach but there's something about the scene where Mac talks about having to go meet Johnny when he "buzzes" (and the whole Johnny thing in general) that reminds me of a very early (and awesome) cheesy 80's movie Eddie and The Cruisers.
  12. I was out after the first episode when the kitchen people won. The hidden pantry reminded me of something I see all over TikTok and Instagram right now. And were kitchen islands around in the 60's? The room with the fireplace was fantastic though, but compared to that entry room and staircase??? That staircase was amazing.
  13. FYI, Matty Matheson:A Cookbook is on sale (not sure how long) on Amazon for $2.99 - digital version.
  14. Yeah, I don't mind Willa either. I get her voice can be a bit of putting but ehh, there are worse things. And yeah she's annoying but she's a teenager, it's what they do (and it's also why I don't have any. I do think that Mansell should be lucky it was Raylan and not Winona who found him having dinner with their daughter because funny think she would have stopped with a couple of head wounds.
  15. I'll probably be easier with Willa than others since I was kinda meh on Loretta. Thus far I like it. I find Mansel (and the actor) interesting (and the fact that the actor is from KY is kinda funny). Happy to see Deac from King of queens again!
  16. Now that I guess it's over let me state for the record...I like Harvey. I find some of what he says pretty good and sometimes cheesy. And while I like Doug I could do without the hall talk with the litigants.
  17. I have, but they mostly have been smaller, local restaurants, not chains. That looked like a chain. I've also been to a couple of places that only take cash.
  18. I feel like this episode was directly inspired by Glenn's real life experience with his Tesla being stuck in a parking garage about a few months ago. If you don't listen to the podcast it's the one Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack.
  19. I posted this in another thread but it seems appropriate here with the current discussion. The Bear is a very popular show that is streaming only (and has quite a few Emmy nominations that were just announced). Writer below poverty line
  20. Not specific to an episode but an interesting interview on light of the writers and actors strike. Writer below poverty line
  21. The Reid heavy storylines (the ones over multiple episodes) were the worst arcs the show had. Maeve, Aubrey Plaza's character, Mexico and being arrested for murder....dumb, overraught, and way too "teenage fangirl" level of drama.
  22. Everyone talks about the Chris episode and Ritchie's episode but I think my favorite by far is Marcus's episode. It was just lovely on all points. I do miss the characters all interacting at the restaurant together. I miss the Carmy and Syd interaction as well. I would have loved to have seen the two of them so the tasting your together. I definitely don't ship them but they have such a great platonic soul mate connection that just sits at the fire is the show. The two actors have fantastic chemistry together that it would be very easy for the powers that be to make it romantic but I hope they're better than that. I really need season 3 soon.
  23. Carmy's reputation would bring me in, at least initially. He may not have gotten the Michelin stars but he didn't lose them. And it sounds like he's got a really solid cred in the foodie/chef world. Good service would keep me, though. I can't remember if it was the forks episode or Syds episode but whoever emphasized the importance on front of house they are not lying. I've continued to go to a lot of places that are over priced with mediocre food because the service is fucking outstanding.
