TOTALLY agree with these two comments! Don't agree at all that the new Aldredge wifey candidate looks like she's 17. I think she looks like a 35 year old who WANTS to look like she's 17. She's looking for her 15 minutes or a cash cow. I find it exceedingly difficult to believe that this is a serious storyline. I can't believe that any of the Aldredges think that Jennifer (new girl) would fit into the family. After seeing a few photos and hearing the family describe her I was thinking "What the hell?" And Aldredge hubby is then quoted as saying he hopes she will "calm down" or something to that affect. She rides motorcycles, hangs her cleavage out for the world to see, appears to be hard as nuclear nails and is supposed to fit into a ready-made polygamist Mormon family? Wha.....ttt??? For the record, I have ZERO issues with Jennifer - at least from what we know of her. I just cannot for the life of me see her fitting into this family! It's really bizarre!

I read most of the first one on an online site. It was really ridiculous, it read like a book you might have read in 4th grade. Each chapter was about 4 paragraphs long, the spelling was atrocious and I felt it would be a monumental embarrassment for ANYONE to confess to writing that crap. Jackie never mentions any of the other wives by name and doesn't say any dirt really, at all. As for photos, I copied this from a reviewer online: (Zero refers to Jackie/Sam) The final 11 pages are just photographs; I know there's been a lot of interest over whether there were any photos of Zero and Meri together so I'll give a little run down of their ludicrous content. There are 13 photos of Meri; they're mostly face photos and she's dressed modestly in all of them. One photo is of Meri's arm with the word "Samuel" scratched, I guess, on it- which could be what Zero is alluding to in the last Chapter when he said she had a "talent" for writing on her arm. One is of a short letter Meri wrote to Zero; it looks like it's photographed on her lap and was probably never given to him . There's a set of Disney photos- one of the gates and another of a park ticket. There's one exceedingly blurry photo of a stage show, which was never mentioned in the book before. We've got a random photo of the SLS Hotel in Las Vegas, also never mentioned in the book before, a shot from a parking lot of what looks like a cave on a mountain, and a shot of the Sherman Oaks Estates entrance sign, where Zero claimed to live. Have we grasped how pointless these are yet? As for the couple themselves, there is one, fairly obviously photoshopped, screenshot of a Facetime conversation between Meri and a younger guy that doesn't look very much at all like half-face Sam. Oh, and we've also got the famous half-face stolen Sam photo as the final photograph.

Oh THANKS A LOT!!! I had MERCIFULLY forgotten those awful books! Like ANYONE who has a brain cell believes that a millionaire businessman writes books without even rudimentary writing skills.

You made me think, so I googled and read up on it. On the site I found it said over 40 degrees they suggest surgery - although this particular doctor on the show might wait until 50 and other sites may state other things. There surely isn't an easy answer - I just feel sorry for her.

I just went and read her blog. Jackie Overton is the kind of person who seriously makes my skin crawl. She doesn't know right from wrong, she doesn't care who she hurts and she sucks people in with her lies. A true sociopath.

Then plunk those legs into ugly a** shoes from Lularoe. Uh... yeah.

And better for her to miss out on EVERYTHING that is fun in high school because she has to be at home and do grueling exercises EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Oh for pete's sake - get your child the surgery and improve her life! Let her be a kid while she can still just have fun and not have life's responsibilities dumped on her shoulders!

Supposedly the Snowdens won't marry because they want all of the wives to be "equal". I have to snort about THAT one because you can bet your last dollar that Ashley would NEVER hesitate to remind the newer women that SHE is the "first wife". As I recall, last season Ashley made some comments that led viewers to believe that one reason she wants Dimitri to take on another wife is so that she can have someone do the chores around the house. You can bet that Dimitri has sex all of the time with other women, and can honestly tell these side pieces that he is honestly NOT married - he's a single guy! I don't believe for a second that he only has sex with Ashley. And she's a fool if she believes that.

You bring up an interesting thought, Sunny! Robyn was always accusing her ex of being aggressive with her, and painted him as a pretty awful guy, actually. Maybe Robyn's definition of "aggression" is exaggerated, and what she perceives as aggression is actually just a strong opinion which differs from her own.

Yeahhhhhh....I agree!! The thing is..... there is always accountability for our choices. If Meri hadn't been willing to be drawn in by this catfish because she was wanting romance, NOTHING would have happened to her. She wasn't an innocent victim run over by a drunk driver... she made conscious choices to "stray" outside of her marriage (I use quotes because it wasn't physical, just emotional) and therefore it is ridiculous to feel sorry for herself for YEARS afterwards. When something happens to ME, I tell myself, "Well that's what I get for doing ________ (whatever I did)". Sometimes our choices blow up in our faces - but we made the conscious choice to do whatever it was, so it doesn't make sense to then blame everything and everyone else for what WE CHOSE to do. I honestly feel like Meri believes that her family should feel sorry for her, that she was duped. That's why she brought Kristie over for the dinner. See? Other people were duped, too! Meri had no business involving herself in an online romance, being married to a man and three other women. (Yeah, yeah, I know - but there IS a commitment of sorts to the other wives!) At least Kristie was single. You reap what you sow, so stop crying about your withered crops.

Because they already know her identity. What I keep wondering is if the other wives and Kody ever saw the banana photo or the bathtub photo with "Sam" scratched on her thigh and her orange sultry look for the camera (for Sam).

That's it!! Someone needs to tell Meri to stop using a bottle at a time. It is SOOO unattractive!

Funny you should ask that! I was questioning myself AS I WROTE that post - but then I realized that her entire body is that weird shade of burnt umber, and unless she is smearing that makeup on her entire body with a spatula, it MUST be the over-tanning!!

Meri almost demands that the family meet with Kristie who was catfished by the same fruitcake, thus keeping this subject on the front burner. Then when Kody DARES to ask her a question at this meeting of the bottom feeders* (what threats did fruitcake make?) Meri is OH-SO-OFFENDED and upset that he had the gall to ask. Yes - definitely two-faced!! Definition of catfish: Bottom Feeder. Jackie was the fisher"man", Meri and other victims the catfish.

Someone said that Meri was looking really good last night. I thought her hair was better than usual, but she still looks like an orange Oompah Loompah. WHY in the world do some women think that over-use of tanning beds make them look attractive? Even Simon Cowell has brought this up more than once. "You look like a giant orange. It's creepy". lol

I sometimes watch that but I've never seen it discussed on THIS board.

Except that Meri TOLD them to discuss it themselves. I know what you are saying, but it's hypocritical to TELL the family to discuss it and then get upset that they discussed it, lol.

I totally agree. I think Kody was asking fair questions concerning the amount Meri was asking for. Meri has to be one of the most selfish women I have ever seen on TV. I truly understand about her wanting that house - I get it. But there ARE other members of that family to support and she was PISSED when they said they needed the money to support the family. April said she was taking her kids on a hike and instead fled the state with them. The family didn't hear from her for a couple of months and Drew didn't see the kids for something like 8 months. She wants no part of their polygamist family any more. TLC was filming all of this but I guess they decided it was too depressing or too - something - to air. The show IS called "Seeking Sister Wife - and if the Brineys were caught up in all of this drama, they probably didn't reach out to another potential wife - or else TLC felt it was rather insensitive to be courting a NEW wife when your first wife just left you.

I wonder if "Sam" (AKA Jackie Overton) watches these shows and gets a pretend hard-on when they talk about her. Can you imagine her staying at Christie's house pretending to recover from open-heart surgery? That is beyond creepy! And putting ketchup on her shirt to appear as blood! Ewwww, my skin just crawls! She is truly a psychotic wonder!

Interesting how both the Briney's first wife and the Alldredges first wife left the family and moved off on their own. Clearly the HUSBAND wanted fresh meat but the wives were NOT on board. The Snowdens... sheesh what a mess! Vanessa should run far and FAST!! Jennifer is a camera...er....."hog" (to keep it nice) and she is meeting the Alldredges because she wants to be on TV. Did you see how she exposes her boobs and poses for her pics? I can't EVEN imagine her joining that family - it is like oil and water - their interests and goals in life are polar opposites! Colton is kind of strange. I liked the McGee wife (can't think of her name) - she seems very genuine - but too jealous and possessive and a bit insecure to be in a polygamous marriage.

Honest to God, when I first glanced at that pic I thought it was an ugly woman until I did a double-take and saw the chin fuzz and realized it was FT.

Meri says: "I can't even remember the last time I asked for money for something". Uh - didn't she need a wet bar and whatever else on her house? And yes - houses are money pits. What happens when the house needs a new furnace or a water heater or washer and dryer or whatever? If you are tapped out paying the mortgage on TWO houses...and your B&B is empty or not making as big a profit as you were hoping - where does that money come from?
