I still like Alldredge's second and third wife. They seem like really nice people. I highly doubt their new applicant is going to fit in, but I will sit back and see how the season unfolds. Going from the single lifestyle in New York working as a bartender at night and riding motorcycles and getting tats - to living with a man and his two other wives and hordes of kids is kind of a huge culture shock, in my opinion. But maybe she's ready to settle down and have a Duggarful of babies and cook and clean and do laundry for a family the size of a small town. Stranger things have happened!

S02.E01: It’s Time to Start Seeking Again 2019.01.20
Kyanight replied to Scarlett45's topic in Seeking Sister Wife
I really liked the McGee's son John. He seems like a really good kid - and smart, too! His dad is never going to have another wife - first wife is not going to allow it. I don't understand why Colton is flaunting his polygamy around a Southern Utah MORMON town! You just don't do that. They are very irritated by the "fundy" Mormons and polygamy, not to mention it's illegal in that state. If you want to shout the fact that you have multiple wives from the rooftop - move to another state. Colton lounging in prison with multiple husbands while his wives are on welfare really does no one any good. (Although I think second wife works so maybe she could support first wife.) I don't feel first wife is very happy with the polygamy thing. -
I THINK someone said he designs robotics or something like that. I actually like Vanessa. She's hefty enough that Ashley doesn't seem to feel she's a huge threat, yet pretty and sparkly enough that Dimitri could still get it up for her. (Unlike that one past girlfriend.) But sadly, the no pork or beef rule might be the deal-breaker. If not that, something else will pop up.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Kyanight replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Nah, you probably wouldn't love to hear from me. -
Oh my Gawd - how unfair!! Like everyone in the world (whether they watch the show or not!) is supposed to just KNOW that Meri didn't tell her family yet because she was waiting for the "cameras"to be there. "Boys and Girls - please put your ESP hats on now please.... we might run into Meri Brown". <~~~ Said in my best prudish Librarian voice
-
Welll........ maybe Robyn went to Tahiti, Janelle went to Canada, Kody went to Utah (of course!) and Meri went crazy.

You know... seriously... Kody hardly DID say two words, and whenever HE wants a chance to express his thoughts (just like his wives want THEIR chance to talk) they shut him down. I find this really disrespectful. It's always about tiptoeing around Meri's feelings. No one else is allowed to feel hurt because she shut them out - no, it's all about her. COME ON - would ANY wife (and make no mistake - "legal" or not - they ALL consider themselves wives!) ... so would ANY wife buy a house, close on the house, go on vacation with her family and just not tell them? Um... nope. She was mad about the money and was being petty.

Just a thought that came to me while I was watching.... I think Meri didn't tell the family that she closed on the house because she's pissed that they didn't offer her any money and she HAD TO DO IT ON HER OWN!! Now, even though she's proud of herself that she DID IT ON HER OWN (yeah, we get it!) - she still feels let down that the family didn't give her any of the funds. So childishly, she thought, "I'm not even going to tell them!"
-
nothing. She's still pretending to be Sam and reeling in more stupid people.

Oh my gosh - Kristie says, "Fillins", too! "It's nice that everyone can get along like this and not have to worry about hurting anyone's fillins!"
-
From what I heard from the trailer, Meri got the money and bought the house without telling anyone in the family? Someone in town mentioned it to another wife. And then when they were upset that she couldn't even be bothered to tell them, she gets pissy because she can't figure out why they care since SHE got the money by HERSELF! Or was I inhaling too many dish soap bubbles while listening to the TV?
-
I don't think so, but I thought the picture I saw was of her in the bathtub! ???
-
Or even worse yet - will they have to forgo their monthly trips to Disney?

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Kyanight replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
All great point, some of which I was thinking of myself! And don't forget - who wants the filthy bathroom that served as a storeroom? Every time I was in there I would remember Madison moaning and groaning as she gave birth. Nothing wrong with that - just not a mental image I want every time I use the facilities. -

You have to take into account extremely rigid religious beliefs. The men don't want to deal with the guilt of hiring a prostitute or having an affair. By claiming another woman is a wife and "approved" by God, his wife MUST allow it or else have God upset with HER, and the man feels no guilt but only justification. He isn't sneaking behind his wife's back doing something he should not be doing, and God says, "Yes (insert husband's name), you may screw your new chickypoo all you want, guilt free. HUGE incentive for a very religious man. I belonged to a fundamentalist extremely rigid religious group during my undergraduate years, and I can tell you all about justification on religious terms, and the use of guilt to keep members in line. -
Someone posted something on Youtube showing exactly how it can be done..... it's kind of a boring video. Oh I found it!
-
Me, too! And just a comment - do ANY of you - ANY of you people that are here posting on this board - EVER see anyone out in public dressed in something like Meri is wearing? Because maybe I am going blind... or walking around with my eyes down on the sidewalk looking for chewing gum wads to avoid... but I NEVER see anyone dressed like that around here! (so who is buying this stuff? Or is it just sitting in the Lularoe seller's houses on racks?)
-
Also - using a voice disguiser didn't really make Jackie sound like a guy, in my opinion. Maybe a really effeminate man, I guess. If I had been Meri and had initially fallen for the lies "Sam" was spewing, I would have had constant red flags in my peripheral vision. I honestly thought he always sounded like a butch southern woman.
-
I agree. Your skin crawls and you feel like you need to go take a shower. It's also irritating and infuriating that this piece of crap woman has the audacity to keep on with her charade as if the REST of us out there are ALL naive and ignorant of what went on with Meri and Kristie and heaven knows who else that was reeled in. You want to look right into her fat beady eyes and say, "Stop! Just.... stop." :::eye roll:::

No kidding! JUST MY OPINION AND OWN EXPERIENCES HERE* - I had my first completely natural, my second was induced because of HELLP syndrome and my last was premature twins (31 weeks). I had epidurals for the second and third pregnancies - and they were AWESOME!!!!!! And I did not see ANY differences in any of my babies. All I know is I saved myself agony and I was better able to hold and love on my new babies after the births because I wasn't so exhausted. They don't give medals to expectant mothers who agonize and scream in the bathtub for 18 1/2 days and deliver naturally. Been there, done both. (Er... not the bathtub and cameras bit.) If Madison is going to have a Duggerful of kids, she might want to get to know Mr. Epidural Man. He's my hero! (Although could be a Ms. Epidural Chick, too.) * Disclaimer: All births are different, all expectant MOTHERS are different, and my personal experiences and medical needs may definitely differ from yours. All information, content, and material of this post is for informational/entertainment purposes only and are not intended to serve as a substitute for the consultation, diagnosis, and/or medical treatment of a qualified physician or healthcare provider. Hoarding: Buried Alive - General Discussion
Kyanight replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Hoarding: Buried Alive
Marie Kondo. My daughter and her husband read the book and I recently bought the summary. I both like it and don't like it. -
LOL! You did fine. It's kind of hard to actually describe this show. It's twisted and crazy and fun, but very different from Hogwarts. In fact, in four seasons they've hardly even been in a classroom that we have seen.
