  1. Totally 100% believe this to be the truth.
  2. I had to look on Google images. They look like twins separated from birth! ha ha
  3. THAT'S RIGHT!!! I knew that but had forgotten!! Thanks!
  4. No, the McGees were considering polygamy prior to their house fire. They had someone lined up in the past and it didn't work out due to the first wife's feelings.
  5. Ashley said on camera that it is her "third eye", but everybody and their dog knows that she does this (and with her kids) to draw attention to herself.
  6. I'm sorry - but in Meri's world you are wrong. Meri is OWED this money from whoever, and then it's hers and she did it "on her own". No one else deserves any credit.
  7. That might have been me! I'm so glad you watched it and ventured over here. The more you watch it the more you can't turn away, lol. And there are people of all ages on these boards - I'm one of the older ladies, too.
  8. I honestly don't see how anyone is going to justify Meri's 40 grand request as being unselfish. She didn't ask for a loan, she wanted the money - and then she wanted the B&B all to herself - with no one else having a say in how it is run or in receiving any possible future revenues. Unbelievably ballsy, IMO.
  9. This is Robyn's new look. Meri is the orange one, Robyn is the yellow one.
  10. Hey!! I think I know who she is - isn't she the potential sister wife for the Alldredges? I recognize the boobs!
  11. Yeah but here's the thing - if you are just a viewer who doesn't post - you don't KNOW what happened! So why in the world do they keep bringing it up? Meri made it sound like a business contact or a friendship thing - so I'm sure everyone is thinking "What's the big deal?" For the record, I heard they are going to drop it now, and not bring it up again unless Kristie is mentioned for some reason.
  12. But...but... I don't WANT to be a maid!
  13. I watch it live, lol. But you have a good point - most people aren't stuck in the stone age, like me.
  14. Well this isn't the McGee's first rodeo. They had a sister wife lined up and the wife couldn't handle it, so they let it go for awhile.
  15. Someone needs to color it orange, and then it would be perfect!
  16. I agree with this entire post! Winder dude seems slow - but as pretty as the wives are, they seem equally slow. I think it's good matches - except for the fact that I don't know anyone who believes wife # 1 is really on board with polygamy. Going to the park on a Sunday in a Mormon town to introduce wifey #2 is just stupid. Not to mention the awful, sad third birthday party with no little friends that they threw for their daughter. Well.... maybe they had another birthday party on a different day and this one was the one for the cameras. We can only hope. The McGees weren't intending on bringing the new wife into the trailer (as funny as that would be - I would enjoy seeing that!) - they were waiting for her to come along so they could pick out a house together. But in the next episode, (? Or at least a future one) they are going to go ahead and buy the house now. I've seen the new prospective wife in previews, and she actually seemed like a great fit for this family (I will let you interpret that however you wish!) but the first wife throws a fit and I don't know who wins the battle - horny hub or jealous first. Jeff Alldredge TOTALLY picked out wife #4. She's going to get her 15 minutes and be out that door! Anyone with half a brain cell could see that it's not going to work. Just the way she does those stupid seductive poses (like a 17 year old) for social media should be their first clue.
  17. That really doesn't matter down the road after the wife has a number of children. Just ask April Briney or Cindy Alldredge. The husband decides he wants multiple wives and it's either his way or the highway. She has quite a few young children - and was raised in either a polygamist household or else to be submissive.... she probably doesn't have a higher degree - what's she supposed to do, other than go along with it until she can't take it any longer. Mitch seems the type of guy who would have quite a few wives, IMO.
  18. Ehhhh......... if you were raised to believe something from birth, you would be surprised. Although Kody's wives are definitely not the compliant wives you usually see in a polygamist marriage - they definitely have opinions. I guess we'll see what the future holds. I'm not crazy about Mitch at all. He's like a notch above Tony. She looks like a giant carrot with a sweet potato nose.
  19. YAY M&M - welcome back!!
  20. Remember yesterday when someone thought the "tweak" was the rill dill? You got me GOOD! I was reading this thinking - WTH??????????????? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Brilliant!
  21. They aren't urns. They are chamber pots. Urinals. Pee pans. (said tongue-in-cheek). I hear ya. Mariah loves her mother, I just think it would be easier to forgive and move on if Meri said "I'm sorry". "I'm sorry you were hurt by my actions, Mariah". I have NEVER heard Meri give anyone a sincere apology because she never does anything wrong. The kindest and most humble people are those who KNOW they aren't perfect and aren't too stubborn to admit it -they can be sincerely sorry about it - and then move on. Meri LOVES moving on - but has no responsibility or accountability for her own choices and actions.
  22. For some reason CALLING them a wife is illegal. It makes no sense. But I have heard that quite a large number of Fundamentalist Mormon Polygamist families are on welfare - was wondering if that could be why it's illegal? That still doesn't make sense... but if other states don't give a flying fig if people are polygamists or not, why is Utah so touchy about it?
  23. SouthernSnuzzle 29 days ago Personally know the McGees. Last I heard they were Jewish. UnluckyYear ·29 days ago Oh wow, the only Jews I thought practiced polygamy were Yemeni Jews. Well, it will be nice to see how they practice polygamy. Do you know if they were religious or non-religious Jews? SouthernSnuzzle ·29 days ago I honestly haven’t really been close to them in several years. They were Christian when I met them, later became Jewish,.... and now this. They were always very religious in the religion they were practicing at the time. Or appeared to be outwardly, but the fact that the religion hopped,... I just don’t even know. It all is kind of shocking to me honestly. I guess we never really know what’s going on in another household. Good people, good family though. I just never would’ve expected this, doesn’t change my opinion of them though.
  24. She absolutely WILL! I just shake my head and laugh at Ashley and her pretentious ways. I also believe it almost borders on being disrespectful to take one aspect of a group's religious beliefs just because it makes you and your kids stand out. There is no other reason for her to do this, as she isn't Hindu.
  25. That's a really good question. The way it's been presented on the show they were just "friends". (?)
