I got the book through Amazon UK (substantially cheaper than Amazon.com) It is well worth shelling out for though, IMO. There's contributions from pretty near all the cast and it gives a summary of each episode together with detailed looks at each season. A lot of behind the scenes photos and interviews with the behind the camera people (writers/producers/props etc)

@Egg McMuffin I remember that storyline. IMO they should have just hired the lookalike actress and blamed the accident for any changes in her appearance. -
Magnum P.I. (2018) - General Discussion

Hart to Hart was different though, because it was never a case of 'will they won't they', it was more 'they already are'. So it's not quite the same as those examples. -
Okay, so was that fanfiction written by or featuring Ted Cruz? Because that's an important distinction...but I think that brain bleach will likely be required either way.

BJ was trucker and Bear was the chimp. "BJ McKay and my best friend Bear" (and now I have that title song as an ear worm, thank you very much!)

Ressler doesn't need to lie to protect Sarah. For one thing, she could easily be below the age of criminal responsibility (did they say how old she was?) Even if she's old enough to be held responsible for her actions, all she did was shoot at somebody who was holding a gun on her mother. She didn't even kill her. I suppose that arguably she should have put the gun down when a law enforcement officer ordered her to, but honestly, I can't see any reasonable authority trying to make a case against her. That said, she should probably get some therapy to deal with what her mother was doing to her.

I may have yelled at the screen when she just deleted it. She should have saved it to another document just in case there was anything she could have used later on. You should never never NEVER delete something just because you think it's bad now.

I wanted to scream at Carina in the evidence collecting scene to tie her damn hair back out of the way. I know they play fast and loose with the requirements for protective clothing when collecting evidence on tv, but how difficult would it be to have a long haired character use a hair band.

Making bad jokes isn't illegal. Physically assaulting somebody is illegal. That's why one person is banned and the other isn't. -
Giving myself a high five for (for once!) guessing something right! Definitely one of the most thrilling season finales I've watched in a long time.

I've read First Among Equals a number of times. I'm curious as to what they changed in the ending.

I'd like Jett Reno to get her own ship, populated by Jett Reno holograms like Rios had in S1 Picard. (hey, a girl can dream, can't she? 😃

A full circuit seems to take about three months. IIRC, they said as much last week when Roche was talking to his daughter about the pyramids. How he and his wife had never gotten to see them before the train and then got to pass them every three months. I did feel bad for LJ dying alone like that, but I did also laugh quite heartily at it as well. Especially after her comment to Oz about being a survivor. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if she showed up next season, having been found just in time. So Melanie was actually right to not want to trust the tracks. I don’t think the whole train would have made it over the trestle given that the shorter train barely did. And Javi doesn’t like being lied to, but fails to mention to Layton that they’ll be traversing a dangerous bridge?

Unless the stream is on of the ones that feeds the lake and they end up back where they started. Don't get me wrong, following the water is usually a pretty good survival strategy, but in this case it might not have helped. I think they should have gone around the lake first to see if there was a stream or river exiting it that they could follow.

I don't think Misty killed Travis. She was with Nat for the whole day until they found his body, so she'd have had to have killed him maybe the day before and then gone back to sabotage Natalie's car and drive all the way back again, all while hoping that the body wouldn't have been found. I suppose it is possible, but I'd think it unlikely. Misty didn't kill the patient in the nursing home, she just flipped off the power to the monitor so it would sound an alarm and she could scare the kids. The patient didn't look to be in any distress over it.

She may have thought it would just delay them being rescued by a few days or weeks, and that that would be enough time for her to cement her place in the group.

I seem to remember a scene with Helly's outie and Milchik where he made some comment to her about how great the work she was doing was. And I got the impression that he was talking about her work on the outside and that her job at Lumen was more than just a job. So maybe she is a board member or something like that. Loved their choice of music for the retirement party with all the lyrics about 'remembering'.

The UK won in 1976 with Brotherhood of Man, 1981 with Bucks Fizz and 1997 with Katrina and the Waves.

The bigger issue with the 25 kid family, IIRC, was that the husband never learned to speak Spanish and the wife never learned to speak English, even after all that time together.

Picard has previously had to put members of his crew in danger if that's what it took to complete the mission. That's why he broke up with Lt. Commander Nella Daren because he knew that he wouldn't be able to order her into a life threatening situation should another one arise. Letting Agnes get hooked up to the Borg Queen was the only way to get the information they needed. Otherwise what was the point of them going back in time in the first place.

I envy you having it all to look forward to!

It wasn't the house that they cut costs on, it was George's office. He said that when he wanted to do up the office he went with the people who had worked on the house, but then decided to go with somebody cheaper.

To be fair, IIRC, real life Almanzo did get diphtheria and have a stroke and their house did burn down - although I don't think it happened in quite such close proximity as on the show. -

So the kid tells Magnum and Higgins that he was forced to do it and then changes his story as soon as gets to the police station and neither of them wonder why he changed it at that specific point? Surely they've both been in the business long enough to realize that he only changed his story when his saw his mother *and* the neighbour standing there.
