  1. I just want to give a shout out to the entire YouTube channel of Jonathan Young. He does covers of anime themes and Disney songs, but makes them hard rock or heavy metal. My favorite of his is his cover of "Hellfire" from Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame":
  2. Actually she didn't want to leave, she wanted to go on recurring status and Show wouldn't go for it.
  3. There will be a sequel to Ben Affleck's The Accountant. I'm in line already. I hope his character's brother is in it.
  4. It was in some soap page in my Faceboook feed, I can't remember which one.
  5. Jackie Piro was in Hello, Dolly here in Sacramento last year as Irene Molloy. She has a lovely voice. I think Jared Gertner was Elder Cunningham on Broadway, and yes, I've seen Submissions Only, and love it. The program said James Snyder was in the Broadway productions of In Transit and If/Then. He was also Jason opposite Matt Doyle in the concept album of Bare
  6. Here's a video of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1Nzk8QY4Uw I saw Beauty and the Beast today. They told us that the costumes were the same ones they had used productions in London, Rome, Paris, and Moscow, and they had cost $2 million. They were absolutely fantastic. A fun time, though I didn't go into it expecting much (let alone having to deal with the ten year old sitting next to me who didn't stop moving the entire play). The stars were: James Snyder as The Beast (he has a fantastic voice) Jessica Grove' as Belle (a very nice soprano) Jared Gertner as Le Feu (who I thought went way overboard with the homoeroticism) Peter Saide as Gaston (with a beautiful voice, and damn, he's tall) Gordon Goodman as Maurice David Hibbard as Cogsworth Michael Paternostro as Lumiere (who, to me, was the star of the production) Shannon Warne as Mrs. Potts Jackie Piro Donovan as Madame de la Grande Bouche (damn, her voice is gold) I always wondered how they changed the beast into the handsome prince live on stage, and now I know. :)
  7. Bat .222 and get promoted. Yeah, that has nothing to do with who he is.
  8. That was an interesting filming location, with all of that fog in the background.
  9. No, student loans are not guaranteed by the government.
  10. Do teams still fine players for not hustling? I hope so, because Rajay Davis needs to be fined today.
  11. I think it's just because Drake is still recovering from his injury.
  12. I read that Joseph Mascolo taped episodes we haven't seen yet.
  13. Three A's hit their first major league home runs today, and as of right now, a rookie pitcher is on pace to win his first major league game.
  14. Billy Flynn is VERY active on Twitter, and a LOT of his tweets are criticizing Trump.
  15. Yes, his biological grandfather was David Martin, though David Junior was raised by Scott Banning and, I think, took the name Banning. David Martin was killed by his wife, Susan. Julie was never married to him. Julie married Scott Banning and they raised David, Eli's father.
  16. So Wayne Northrop and Lynn Herring's son Hank will be making an appearance (sounds like a one day show) on B&B.
  17. So are there going to be no followup effects of Paul's illness? I'm glad Sonny is getting blowback from firing people willy nilly. I hope he gets sued big time. Why aren't Tate and Holly together? They should be socializing together. Look, Show, I know you tape in January, but it's mid-June, Marlena's jacket looks awfully warm. Explain to me again how Deimos thinks Sonny is responsible for ruining his relationship with Nicole? So Martin House is still a B&B. So in other words, Julie just saddled Eli with a business that he never asked for. Paul's living in the Kiriakis mansion?
  18. My God, JJ was pissing me off this morning. A woman was suing her ex-roommate for rent. He was going to school and had a student loan for his $18,000 per term tuition. JJ seems not to understand the difference between a student loan, which the defendant kept saying he was going to have pay back, and a grant. She kept saying she and Byrd were paying his rent, which they aren't, since he's got a student loan. She also asked him how much the tuition was, and she said, "$18,000 a semester." And he said, "Per quarter." And then she said, "So, $36,000 a year." No if he's on the quarter system, it's $54,000 a year. But she wouldn't listen and just kept blabbing on. Now, I don't disagree with her ruling about how he needed to pay the rent back to his ex roommate, but JJ was just being ridiculously obtuse today.
  19. Is there a forum for ABC's new Boy Band competition? I can't find one. So the first guy they show they have to start off with him giving us a soulful look and then take his shirt off to swim in the ocean. So I don't think they're really looking for singers. Ugh, more soulful looks. Sigh. Nick Carter actually sounds intelligent. Ugh, the dramatic pauses while they choose those to move on.
  20. Galen Gering, Greg Vaughn, and Jason Thompson have launched apps to let their fans keep in touch with them Here's the article, with links to the apps. http://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/three-soap-faves-launch-app-connect-directly-fans/
