OK, I have a rant. Why was there absolutely zero hard Christmas candy in the stores this past Christmas? You know, the ribbon candy, and the hard candy with the fillings, that came in a cardboard cylinder that used to be metal back in the day? It was unavailable at supermarkets, at drug stores, it was just not there, anywhere. I almost broke down and went online to look for it.

"Apparently vulture was taken." "It's as if we never said goodbye. I may burst into song." Brady needs to be slapped more often. Sonny should have done it, too. There should be people lining up to take turns. I love Kate's dress. Hey, no dissing Ivan, Abigail! Eve and Brady were doing a lot of talking over each other. "Oh, uh, I was kissing Paul." I do always love Will and Marlena's talks. Ciara needs to shut it. Darn, I was hoping imposters dot com would be a real website. "They're in my other cape." Will we be getting some background into Stefan's history before Vivian and Ivan tracked him down? "Hey, you came home." Well, duh. The board named a new CEO without even discussing it with the other players? And on New Year's Eve? I call shenanigans. -

The book came out a long time before Stranger Things did. The movie's sound track is living up to the book. Nor have a big birthmark on her face.

OMG, would these people who are supposedly real-life Chevrolet employees stop saying shuvy? Aaaaaagggggghhhhhh!!!!! It bugs me as much as the Northern California ads for Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), where the PG&E employees say they work at "peejunee". -

Leann Hunley will be back as Anna for two months, starting with Friday January 5. She'll be in a storyline with Roman. But I wonder if her appearance has anything to do with Stefan. -

When I heard about The Shape of Water, I thought that the story, of a woman falling in love with an amphibious creature, was silly. Even after reading all of the rave reviews, I thought it was going to be a slight fantasy. But I was wrong. The score, by Alexandre Desplat, is gorgeous. The set designs, even when it's of a run down studio apartment, is beautiful. The acting is achingly beautiful, especially from Sally Hawkins and Richard Jenkins. Michael Stuhlbarg, the lab scientist with a secret, is wonderful. And Michael Shannon, as his usual creepy characterization, is fantastic as always. And the story is sad and beautiful. It's a story of loneliness, and alone-ness, and longing to be loved. And I bought every minute of it. Even the tiny details are glorious. Like the movie theater, and the man sitting at the bus bench with a half-eaten cake, and the actor who played the pie shop clerk, gave an interesting performance (who was he?) It was an interesting characterization that, as nasty and despicable as he was, his family adored him.

Good throwback to Sonny always having to tie Will's ties. Hope looks cold in that sideless dress. Why is Jennifer wearing a donut on her head? Chloe could have told Will she was his ex stepmother. "Everybody loves Claire." Well, not the audience, I don't think. But Ciara, you're a real brat. Nice Dracula cape, Vivian. I wonder who might have visited Susan. Kristin? -
He should be ashamed for selling it with that horrible rendition.
