He was not pleased. I did have some objections to his laughing at the soap opera tropes instead of just dealing with this episode, but here's his reaction:

Sabato seems to be operating under the illusion that he has the election in the bag. He has to make it out of the primary, which is an open primary and if there's more than one Democrat running (the incumbent in his district is a Democrat), he may not even make it to the general election.
