  1. From the Hot Seat with A&E I got the sense he'd be returning. I don't hate him, but he doesn't add much at this point, other than making Emma feel terrible.
  2. TV | Fall TV Shows: Schedule, Lineup, Premieres The Hot Seat: Once Upon a Time bosses answer your burning Qs
  3. Hm, Shirin is a character in One Thousand and One Nights and other stories, but not connected to the Aladdin story. I'm looking forward to seeing her cursed story. I guess that means Aladdin is coming from the Land of Untold Stories. Has Jasmine been in Storybrooke since the Dark Curse? HOROWITZ: No. Do Jasmine and Snow know each other from the past? KITSIS: No. Ok, so Jasmine is a newcomer from the LoUS. Has Aladdin been there the whole time?
  4. What's interesting to see is the fact that the show is getting very little promotion this year. If you watch ABC during the week (which I ended up doing while visiting my mother who has literally one channel in the guest room), chances are you won't see a commercial for Once until late Friday. So, even if you give the promotions of the Cinderella most of the credit, there was still very little of it. But, yes, I think her story brought some viewers back, but others were tuning in after the CS spoilers.
  5. This is the spoiler discussion link! It's all good. I've been out of town and missed the first couple of episodes, so these spoilers are very good to come back to. As much as we complain, I knew the writers weren't going to completely put CS's relationship on the back burner. So they didn't move in right away after the Underworld. A couple of days isn't too bad.
  6. I LOVE THIS SEASON. The right ones stayed and the right one went home. I know Roxxy has been given a lot of chances, being in the bottom. But, saying this as someone who's done both improv and standup, as the emcee she had the hardest job of anyone, and I thought she did pretty well. PhiPhi and Coco did a scene study that wasn't the least bit funny in any way. Bye, girls.
  7. Jamie Lee Curtis is always a little scattered in interviews, but I follow her on Twitter, and she's been a vocal HRC supporter for awhile. So, I was thrown when the gals were trying to imply "Why NOW do you support her?" She was probably thrown too. But yes, Whoopi's mockery of Brangelina's divorce and CCB and Jebiblahblah's racial profiling probably threw her too. Considering all that, she managed to get out what she wanted to say, so good for her.
  8. Right? I've never heard her say she was at that concert before. If it was me, I'd be bragging about it every chance I had. In a couple of years, she'll be telling us how she was at Woodstock.
  9. I just watched Ron Howard's new Beatles documentary on Hulu, and Whoopi has a couple of talking heads about the Beatles in New York. She had good things to say, and didn't sound like a raging lunatic. She also tells a story about her mother surprising her with tickets to the concert at Shea Stadium. Maybe all that's true, but I can't help think she's completely BSing about the Beatles. Especially since she stole Billy Crystals Paul McCartney and Wings joke twice. Come to think of it, she was also in a recent Dave Clark Five documentary on PBS. Maybe she thought she was talking about the Beatles there?
  10. It's not just that Raven relies on social media for her information, she only relies on social media from the past 12 to 18 months, and that's being generous. Anyone who wasn't aware that Trump has been saying creepy, inappropriate things about his daughter or that he has been the most vocal birther conspiracist in the country, questioning Obama's citizenship status at ever turn, has not been paying ANY attention for the past decade. Again, Trump blatantly LIED that Hillary's campaign started the birther movement, and NO ONE is calling him on it? Every single person on that panel should be blasting him out of the water. Ugh, I can't wait for November.
  11. I can't comment on anything else but, ALASKA WAS L'IL FRICKIN' POUND CAKE. Boom, done. winner!
  12. I just remembered, Candace was there just a few days ago when Chelsea was saying that if anything happened to her or her husband, her mother would raise the children. Now, Hillary is an evil granny for going to her daughter's apartment. It's all a part of Hillary Clinton's nefarious plans to...I don't know what goes through these people's minds anymore. She really can't do anything right in their eyes. OT: I remember one Saturday before Christmas, I had been out to a holiday party, the went to the mall afterwards. Right in the middle of the mall, I felt my knees buckle, and I felt sick like fainting. I didn't, but I did a zombie walk all the way back to the car. Long story short, I spent the next week in bed with bronchitis. Bacterial infections happen, but f you asked me what happened that day, I'd say it was Christmas, there were crowds, hot, winter coat = I must have overheated.
  13. I'm sort of summing up the last three days here, but the first thing that annoyed me this week was on Tuesday when Candace repeated the same tired, "she's a crook and a liar" meme. Then Jebidiablah picked up the meme. I have to give Whoopie some props, because people really are like dogs with bones and refuse to just drop certain tings. So Hillary is a crook. Did she steal from anyone? Has she been convicted of any crimes? No. DROP IT ALREADY! BAD DOG! As for the after show, I didn't even think Candace was booed. I felt more like the audience was audibly groaning while rolling their eyes. But the fact is, Evangelical Christians like Candace will never support Hillary for president, simply because she's a woman tainted with Original Sin. Sorry, I have yet to see a born again Christian back a woman for anything. I didn't have much an opinion of Sarah until this week. She doesn't say anything, unless it's something she's interested in, and she does that little clappy thing. It's pretty immature, like she's going, "Oh yay! Something I like!"
  14. I'm seeing Tweets that the black dress was for rehearsals.
  15. Alaska: C'mon, All Stars! Let's get all started, oh kurrrrr...
  16. I just finished watching the episode for the second time. This is going to be a good season. First, do some people not realize that IS the way Alaska/Justin talks? It's not changing. But I've been following her since Season 5, have seen her live, and she is a superstar. The crown is hers. Second, I love Adore, I really do. But I didn't think she deserved the crown in Season 6, and I don't think she deserves it here--not, unless she pulls something amazing out of her hat (or wig). She's done very nicely for herself, and she'll probably have a long career, but she's not Hall of Fame material. I'm also here for Katya, as long as she's here. She's just so lovable. I actually forgave Roxxxy and PhiPhi a long time ago, and think they're doing okay, and I loved Tatiana in Season 2 and glad she's bringing it to the new girls. I think Detox is going to underwhelm like last time (and I love her too). Damn, I liked Coco at the start of Season 5, but her act is so tired. Alyssa is Alyssa and I love her for that. Ginger is Ginger and I love her for that too.
  17. That's my hometown! I definitely need to pay another visit, and I think there's business-related conference going on then too. Maybe I can turn this into a business trip.
  18. I'll probably get DarkHook and Zelena, but I wish Z was green. Belle looks like she'll have the same big head/skinny legs problem as Emma where she keeps falling over.
  19. Dark!Hook! http://funko.com/blogs/news/coming-soon-new-once-upon-a-time-pops
  20. But she's a homophobe! Because y'know. We all are. But seriously, Leanne has a job she loves, meeting the cast of her favorites shows. What the hell are these people doing with their lives?
  21. Jen is the captain of her ship. She and Colin are friends. I like to think she's stopped listening to the haters and posts whatever she likes now. It's one thing I love about her.
  22. Yes, she did. Raven completely made it about her and her celebrity status. I hadn't heard that story before today, but body shaming a nude stranger on Snapchat just crosses the line of social media, in my opinion. Can we please stop shaming and judging people online? Agreed. That and the whole selfie/head lice thing. Oh, being a celebrity so hard. Thankfully Eddie Izzard was able to joke about that ridiculousness.
  23. The OUAT SDCC Panel is scheduled for Saturday July 23 at 10am. Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Rebecca Mader and Jared Gilmore join executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown. Hoping we get some good spoilers, but I'm mostly looking forward to cast hijinks during the interviews.
  24. Ah, see here's the thing. Passing that bill was purely a political move by the conservative general assembly to keep their stranglehold on the state come November. I believe the main point is is to limit individual cities from setting their own anti-discrimination laws and setting their own minimum wage. Plus, it limits individuals' rights to sue for discrimination at the state level. But, make it all about "protecting women and children" and that's all people hear.
  25. I appreciated the HB2 discussion. Living in Raleigh, I've heard nothing but opposition to it, so it's interesting to see such a difference of opinion just a short distance away. It's definitely hard for older, religious folks to understand how someone could be transgender, but the younger customers there also didn't quite seem to understand, even though they were more supportive. But then it really fell apart with that ex-ACLU lady.
