  1. Older Kevin looks 50ish to me, and still incredibly handsome, tho the beard makes his face oddly just look...larger, more squared off or something .I'd think he might, being a famous movie star guy, not have given into the gray and the beard, fought aging harder, but look at George Clooney. Handsome as hell , but looks every bit his age. But still yum. They've aged Randall a little too much tho. Kevin IS my fave, and only partly cuz he's so pretty, but both Kevin and Randall were horrible in that argument. No sides here. They were both striking out like kids do, saying the worst, ugliest things imaginable, and both were wrong as wrong can be. But it looks like they'd made up in the future. I wasn't thrilled that Madison is the baby mama, but whatever. Kevin wanted kids, he's getting kids. Ta da. I do hope they don't get married. I still kind of want him with Sophie. I loved her laughing at Kevin's giant nipply billboard. I'm afraid that Nicky is married to Rebecca in the future for some reason, which squicks me out. I hope that's not the case.
  2. I make a kale/spinach smoothie with berries and sometimes cocoa every morning and it blends up just fine, no overtly big chunks of green stuff. i'd totally drink that milk shake.
  3. I think Jane Levy is adorable and gorgeous, but I can't quite figure out why all these guys are so into Zoey, who is kind of clueless and buttoned up and, beyond her superpower, which they don't see, kind of a cipher. She just doesn't seem that interesting, and she's not at all sexy, tho again, I think Jane Levy is/can be. I don't know. Conversely, I've never really found Skylar Astin especially hot or interesting--I couldn't figure out why Anna Kendrick was into him in Pitch Perfect--but here, he's a total smoke show for me, and that was even before he took off his shirt, which: damn. I just assumed Leif was gay, so the whole thing with Joan did surprise me. I loved the flash mob thing, that also took me by surprise, so kudos, show. I know the subordinate/supervisor thing romance thing is ill advised, but it doesn't really bother me here. Or in real life, apparently, as my honey was technically my, um, underling (it was just a mostly silly retail job, I had no real power, unlike Joan or Zoey, in this instance) when we began our relationship and we've been together 16 years. But yeah, they should really address it, in both cases. And Zoey should shut Max down with it, especially if she's really not interested in him. Maybe the company has one of those policies where they can date, as long as it's all disclosed to HR?
  4. As soon as Kim began telling Jimmy, with a catch in her voice, that they needed to end this, I knew she was going to say "or we could get married'. I even said the words aloud with her. What I don't know is why. The spousal privilege thing seems like such a cliché, I want that to NOT be the reason. Saul talked about ex wives in Breaking Bad, but you can't really believe a word out of Saul's mouth, so I don't take that as any kind of canon. I feel really bad for Howard. The casting of young Kim and her mom were spot-on. And I also was like: okay, walk, Kim, but put the damn cello in the car first.
  5. Creepy fish misadventure aside, Greg Evigan is still damn cute. Nearly 70, looks 20 years younger.
  6. I'm kind of just here for Aaron Paul at this point. Evan rachel wood must be relishing getting out of that blue prairie dress and getting to look smoking hot in all the little black dresses. Beyond that, I got nothin
  7. I loved this episode so much. I loved Gen's joy over New York. Whether Matilda winds up there or not--and it's not looking like she will now--genevieve clearly belongs there. I was also afraid that Matilda was going to hear her set, and she'd have every right to be upset, but comedians use their real life experiences, its what they do. And G's love for Matilda was palpable. She was like a baby sarah Silverman up there. Matilda did such a good job navigating the subway system. I was so sad that she got so overwhelmed; NYC is an extremely stimulating place. I want her to try again. I don't know what the plans or hopes are for this show, but I really hope it returns. I love it so much.
  8. Loved seeing the former Mrs Raylan Givens show up to maybe be Boyd Crowder's new girlfriend. Wade at his wife's grave made me cry, not gonna lie. I hope this show gets picked up for next season. It's just so sweet.
  9. Yes. she wasn't so much looking out for Alexis as not wanting to be embarrassed by her current state of depressed dishevelment.
  10. Omg, I just loved every single thing about this episode. This show is art.
  11. I'm sure I'm in the minority, and I'm sure she'll wind up going back, and I'm not saying it's the best decision, but Zoey dropping out doesn't seem like the worst thing in the world. She wants to be a stylist. She's already working as that, for a successful musician. College isn't the only way to be happy or successful. What I do wonder is: is that house they all share on campus? Will she have to move out? I'm guessing no, to both, but I don't know. Everyone looked pretty great in their 90s gear. The twins as Janet and Lil Kim, Doug as Tupac (damn), Ana as Selena and Uma, and the rest of the Pulp Fiction crew. Also, somehow Luca and the new girl whose name I can't remember managed to make those denim on denim Justin and Britney atrocities look cool. And of course Zoey is stunning no matter what she does or wears.
  12. Moira mentioned that her 'publicist' had the day off...so Alexis was distracting herself with creepy rebound Artie that day. The rest of the time was at night or supposedly the upcoming weekend. She's heartbroken. You do dumb things to distract yourself when you're sad. She mentioned she needed side work too because they'd sunk their savings into the hotel. They also mentioned renting out a room in their house to make ends meet. So she's still teaching, and whatever else. I didn't really get why she didn't take the job at the Apothecary, since she was so good at it, and hell, I'd like to work there, it's so pretty. But whatever, it was funny. If I'd been David, I'd have had to implement a dress code for the job, tho. Kitten sweatshirts have no place anywhere, but def not in that store. Jocelyn didn't used to dress SO bad. Speaking of dresses, Alexis' tight little gold dress was so short I don't know how she sat down, but I loved her little boho bell sleeved one. Moira is a terrible actress. That commercial was hilarious.
  13. I love this show. i'm 100% in til whenever the end is. I agree about Alex and Nicholas...I don't know what we're supposed to think about how Nicholas actually feels about Alex. He treats him fairly indifferently a lot of the time, and sometimes he's downright mean. I am not sure why Alex stays. I'm also not sure how Nicholas makes money. I know he's a bug guy, but what does that mean he's doing? how is he collecting a paycheck?
  14. How is Ming Na nearly 60? She looks half that. Its insane.
  15. I do think Pamela Adlon is a 'get'...she's a great, weird character actress who helms her own show. And I don't think any of the stuff that annoyed Randall was a set up. What was so weird and triggering about that painting? I liked it. The coffee pot thing was something that would never bother me, I wouldn't even notice it, for awhile. I don't think it was a set up either, tho when it bothered Randall so much, I think the therapist found it interesting to see how it was affecting him, and why. Adlon is apparently going to be back on as the therapist, without all the directorial maneuvering, so she'll be on camera and more interactive. I also think the title Clouds is referencing the Joni Mitchell album, among other things. Also: tho Kevin 'okay boomer'd Rebecca when she talked of staring at this album for hours, how beautiful IS this artwork?
  16. I'm fucking heartbroken.
  17. I ADORE Donal logue. Let's make him a new regular, yes! I think wade and meg are adorable and have no real idea why he's not interested in her for at least a little fun. But if he isn't, I'm also all for denny and meg and Jeff as a new little family unit.
  18. Aaron is obviously a good looking guy, but in that bespoke suit that fit him like a glove? Damn.
  19. Pilot Script Review of Thirtysomething(else) I'm excited about this. I was a young twenty something when 30 something was first on, but I still loved it. But it sounds like they've split up Michael and Hope, since the articles reference that Leo lives with his mom. Not his mom and dad. Not shocking, but still: boo. Gary and Susannah had a daughter Emma, too. I think Susannah had moved away from Philly, but Emma could always pop up. Brittany is bisexual, and she and Janey "are closer than we thought..." Hmm. And I saw they cast Patrick Fugit (LOVE him) as Ethan. Anyway. Kind of excited.
  20. Zero effect is one of my all time fave flicks (and soundtracks, too). Bill Pullman is so underrated. His performance in that is complex, funny, sexy and heartbreaking. He is such an interesting actor. Jessica hecht--the artist-- will always be the woman who stole Carol from Ross to me.
  21. I found this 25 year old pic of stephen dorff and this week's baddie David Arquette---they've apparently been friends forever. I thought it was kind of adorable Yeah, I'm still watching for dorff and brian van Holt. There are worse reasons.
  22. I found some of it amusing and sweet, which, as said above, is pretty good at this point. Yes, the show has overstayed its welcome, mostly, but I still have enough affection left for the family that I'm not hate-watching. I did think it was a tiny bit weird that it never crossed Phil's mind, for a second, that Claire actually meant to meet the guy named Guy at that café. I guess it's nice that he didn't.
  23. Nicholas so rocked in his scene in the principal's office! I was so proud of him. Then he had to go and ruin it with his weird throwing-fish-in-the-romantic-bathtub behavior. I cannot figure out this relationship or what we're supposed to make of it. This show is raising some seriously interesting, thought provoking questions about consent and intoxication and being on the spectrum. I liked that there were no easy answers to any of it, and that Genevieve didn't get why it wasn't just her choice, and that maybe it is. I loved that Nicholas just had to say 'I don't know' to some of her questions. Was that a McPoyle as Zane's dad?
  24. I don't get a creepy vibe from Jake. He's DTF, whoever and whenever, but everyone is free to say no, obviously. Patrick was intrigued. Had it just been Jake there, I think they were seriously entertaining the idea of a threesome. I don't think they left because of Stevie, they were already heading out, but it's because while Patrick and David were maybe up for some consensual non-monogamy, they weren't up for an orgy. Yet. Maybe for their one year anniversary. I am a little worried about Ted and Alexis, mostly because of an interview Annie Murphy gave 6 months is a long time to be apart, especially when they'd planned to be together. I hope they don't break up, but who knows. And as one with much more intimate knowledge of fire ants than I wanted to have (Key West. Camping. Clothing full of fire ants. Intense pain.), it's a really good fucking reason to not go to there.
