  1. Anyone annoyed by the stupid banter when they “fight” for a contestant to choose them? So much of it seems so forced and scripted. Once in a while, someone says something funny and I laugh, but most of the time I want the contestant to just pick a damn coach so we can move on with the show.
  2. Has the show ever talked about how Hannah’s addiction developed? She talked about how when she’d gotten sober for other people, she could only stay clean a year or so. I wonder when/how her addiction developed in relation to her medical schooling/career and the drug testing that goes along with it.
  3. Sophie, please find some friends your own age. How odd that characters and Eddie mention Charlie but he never actually sees her. When Maggie was in the escape room, hung up the phone, took two steps and suddenly stopped and gasped, I thought her water broke or she got a serious labor pain or something. She was suddenly very anxious about getting the hell out and I was wondering why she wasn’t telling anyone else she might be in labor.
  4. I’m super curious as to who these “super fans” really are. Kodi Lee’s song was not as good as other performances. He might still win though because he’s Kodi Lee. Avery Dixon was great, loved his increased confidence, but I’m hoping Light Balance Kids or the aerialist win. It doesn’t make sense that the results are next week when they’re typically always aired the following day in a borderline excruciating episode that’s 10 mins of preview, an hour & 45 mins of brainless filler and 5 minutes of actual results.
  5. I liked this episode. Richard Cabral did a great job. Also really nice to see prison rape be treated like the awful crime it is a not a joke.
  6. I can’t imagine registering for gifts you don’t want just so you can return them and buy things you DO want. Who wants to return gifts and shop again when you’re extremely pregnant or have a newborn at home?
  7. Agreed. Not a fan of the Baby Yoda sketch. I’m enjoying this season more than last, laughed out loud repeatedly tonight. I’m not familiar with boxing movies, how accurate is Boxers Girlfriend in Every Boxing Movie Ever?
  8. Bloom was working in finance, had her epiphany with the homeless man, did what she had to do to get into medical school, went through med school and residency and became head of the ER. I’m surprised she isn’t older than her age on the show be cause all of that takes a long time.
  9. Great points and I agree with both. Irving and Jessica were so cute and I’m annoyed that they weren’t included.
  10. Ian confessing to Kit was good but he performs surgery while high and gets to keep his job? Uh-huh, right.
  11. @Lovecatand @izabella, same! I was like “they flew to Tennessee for this!?” Rain, River, Susan or something would’ve been much less confusing. Even if they had a few lines at the beginning of the hike scene of “what’s our guides name again?” “Tennessee. Don’t step in that pile of animal crap. Isn’t it convenient that Max just had replacements available at a nanoseconds notice to do our jobs while we go on this random excursion?” When they realized there was no cell service and Iggy decided to go back to the car, they mentioned it was a 10 mile hike. Why did he go alone and, based on the medical attention they were giving Tennessee, he seemed to get to cell service pretty fast. Surprising considering that he’s not an experienced trail runner. Also, I just remembered, Iggy’s been working out in the gym and doing strength training and likely has a good amount of upper body strength. Why didn’t he try to move the rocks?
  12. Why did the pregnant woman walk miles into the woods after the accident? Why didn’t she stay near the car? Was she trying to get help? Why didn’t the police department have a search and rescue crew? Was it mentioned why and why the new doctor felt compelled to step in? Considering that shows like this tend to not care that much about doctors medical specialties, I was pleasantly surprised that they sent OBGYN Dr Asher.
  13. I like this show but the last season has just gotten outrageous and dumb. Agreeing with everyone else who says no way in hell would/should they rappel 300 feet down a cliff with absolutely no climbing experience! Also, there would be at least one large mat on the ground where they would be landing. Max tried to move the giant rock that trapped the guides foot by himself and wasn’t able to. Why didn’t another person try along with him? Two hands can’t move the rock, maybe four can?
  14. Seriously! The signs were there! All of them! With alarm bells and flashing lights! Padma didn’t hide anything! Her friends and family were too up their own asses to see any of it! I was surprised that AJ, being a doctor, didn’t have more compassion for Padma’s mental illness. Although, that’s not his specialty and he likely has very little training in MI. At the same time, this is a medical TV drama though and any doctor can have any speciality (ie, perform any surgery) whenever the script calls for it! Also, the conversation with Conrad and Cade. Did he know her dad was an addict? Because if not, you’d think he’d have questions like “what? Rehab? Really?” But he acted like he wasn’t surprised. And I know cheating is awful but I found it a bit hypocritical for Cade to divulge a secret she’s been keeping from Conrad and expect forgiveness and understanding, only to walk out on Conrad when he shares a secret of his own.
  15. I’m curious as to how to the two guys had an illegal zoo, with a website, that, from what the guys said, seemed to be popular with the public, hadn’t been reported and shut down yet.
  16. Uh, Devin, you can’t say “we don’t call Dr Bell HODAD anymore” and then claim that you don’t know if he was ever called that! Isn’t he under oath in these conference table hearings?
  17. So, 12 women sued Paulo but none of them filed a police report? I didn’t realize it was possible to sue someone without filing a police report. I guess you can get a rape kit done, not report it to the police but still get a lawyer and sue. I call BS on Ana smiling and nodding when Saint Olivia said “you’ll get it, how inappropriate this relationship was, when you’re an adult.” Teenagers think they know all and hate being told “you’ll understand when you’re older.” Then again, this is Saint Olivia we’re talking about…
  18. Kudos to this show for featuring an adult who self-harms. Self-harming behavior is seen as a “teenager issue” and adults are vastly underrepresented, despite it being an issue. Also, Pierre stood WAY too close to the jurors/jury box. Every time a character in a show says they want to represent themself in court, I roll my eyes and sarcastically think “this is gonna go just great!”
  19. So, the ectopic pregnancy couple are hourly workers at a bookstore, can’t take sick days but have been trying for years to have a baby? I’ve never had a child but I’m pretty sure pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum care requires time off. Not to mention doctor appointments for the baby, having to stay home when the baby gets sick, etc. So Vanessa wants to be a doctor that buys drugs illegally for her patients and is in an environment where it’s accepted? Ok.
  20. Someone please remind me: why did Raja have a rod sticking out of the back of his neck?
  21. Jessica and Irving’s relationship is so, so adorable! Not surprised to see Marko (Mr Longevity) have a heart attack. He did have a time of lucidity afterwards, though, and I DO NOT understand why Irving and Devon didn’t take that time to get a list of all of the meds, supplements and snake oils that Marko was taking! Him being on, for example, metformin, shouldn’t be a surprise conclusion that the doctors have to deduce! Marko: “I want my life to have meaning” (paraphrased) Me: “there are so many charities, group homes, organizations, inner city schools, shelters, etc that you could donate to to make your life have meaning than this “aging is bad for you so let’s find a way to stop it” nonsense!”
  22. Yes to all of this. Ian Googling “how to cheat a drug test” on his work computer was really dumb. This likely isn’t his first time cheating a test so I’m surprised he had to Google it at all. And ordering the “urine” on that same work computer and eagerly waiting for it to arrive. And the note that said “enjoy your urine!” 😂 And he really did not look well. I don’t know why Billie and the others didn’t take him out of the surgery. And he was able to just waltz in and out of the testing bathroom with a full lab coat, shoes and clothes on? Really?
  23. It only took 2 minutes for me to roll my eyes and say “oh for fucks sake!” 7 minutes in. This doctor can just take away Blooms Adderall? How is that a good idea? What about telling her to up her food intake, come back in a week and if she hasn’t gained or has lost, talk about other options? Wow.
  24. @bros402, you know you’ve made an impact when fellow Primetimers are talking to their TVs and warning fictional characters about you! 😂 Anyone else notice that after an episode of Helen this and Helen that, I don’t think her name was mentioned once? Speaking of the first ep of the season, didn’t it seem like in the opening sequence, where Max was severely depressed and his coworker friends were showing up with wine and playing Scrabble, that Max and Dr Wilder were speaking ASL to each other? I remember seeing it and thinking “huh, he finally learned some ASL!”
