I really hope the reason Meri stuck around so long was for the paycheck. She's not legally married to Kody and her kid is an adult, so she's able to live a mostly separate life somewhere else, come back occasionally to film some scenes and do some talking heads, and collect cash for it. Heck, I'd be tempted...

Has anyone brought up the possibility of Kody having ADHD? He just seems so textbook: the impulsivity, inability to make a plan and follow through, short attention span, constant need to be in motion… To clarify, I am NOT excusing Kody’s behavior, nor am I saying that all folks with ADHD are like Kody. Kody just happens to maybe have ADHD and ALSO be a complete asshat.

I know we're not supposed to mention politicians, but this was on the show (I think???) and I just wanted to get clarification. In the midst of her tirade against Lisa, did Monica call her a "Donald Trump fan"?! It's all garbled because there's so much screaming but I could have sworn she said that, and my closed captioning seems to agree.

Meredith really was the perfect mark (Marks?) for Monica. She's done this sort of thing before, so she has zero credibility, and she didn't put up much of a fight when confronted about it because she's "better than that" and "so beyond it all" (i.e. heavily sedated and only able to move 40% of her face).

Omg but Heather clasping her hands, standing up straight, and saying, "You can pack your bags and go" like she's a reality competition host??? That's the kind of cheesy shit I live for. I LOVED IT ALLLLL.

Omg and right after Kelly said that, blink and you'll miss it but Sonja sagely explained to the group, "A verb is an action word." Just her delivery of that line - I don't know why but it made me guffaw. I just love these women.

Right?! When LuAnn was giving Kelly advice about how to handle Dorinda, like, on one hand I got why she did it it, because Kelly kept digging herself a hole and I think Lu genuinely wanted to help Kelly. But on the other hand, I kept thinking, how fucked up is it that Lu has to explain that they need to walk on eggshells around Dorinda because she's the freaking missing stair? Even Ramona was saying she basically goes into a fugue state when Dorinda starts lashing out. This is like a manual on how to withstand verbal abuse.

I guess this UGT is technically kind of boring, but throwaway lines like Ramona saying to Kelly "You'll be fine; just let your hair bark" are why these OGs are my happy place.

I am loath to say this, since I really don’t like her and feel she is a problematic HW, but… *small voice* I’m enjoying Dorinda’s talking heads. Her impersonation of LuAnn as a spider was pretty funny and spot-on.

Why does Kelly sound completely different?? Genuine question: is it because, due to all of the work, she’s no longer able to functionally move the lower part of her face?

I love how much it chaps Kody's ass that Christine and Jenelle have remained friends. Like, I truly love it. It makes me so happy.

It's truly refreshing to be on a forum where everyone is united in their hatred of one person (Kody Brown). Like, I'm in other reality TV forums, and there are loathsome folks on those shows. But they typically still have a few champions among the posters. Not here! Not Kody! It's delightful.

All right... I've watched a bit more, and I have to say that Robyn is a fascinating character study. She could be the subject of a novel, or a true-crime documentary. What is the truth about Robyn??? There's the version she's selling us-- the most charitable version -- in which she wanted one big happy family and has tried to make it work over the years, and she can't help that Kody ditched the other wives for her (She begged him to work on their relationships!), and she was just trying to keep her family safe during the pandemic. Then there's the interpretation at the other end of the spectrum, in which she's a manipulative sociopath, ruthless in getting what she wants. And, then there's every interpretation that falls somewhere in between. And... now, as I watch, I feel like almost any of her actions could be read through the lens of either of these interpretations. Was she tearfully asking Christine "Where do we stand? Do you want a relationship with me?" because, as she tells us, she always thought that would happen some day, and it was something she always wanted to happen, and now she's devastated because she's mourning the loss of it? Maybe! Or, did she ask because she knew damn well what the answer would be, strategically turning on the waterworks to sway sympathy from Kody and the viewers? Maybe! Like, she could fully be a stone-cold sociopath. Or she could be something else in a wide range of interpretations. I honestly don't know!!!! It's so interesting! I love this show.
