  1. You know your relationship is fucked when your partner references what happened in the Uber last night and you feel the need to argue, “It was a LYFT!”
  2. I don't like Lindsay. I think she is a really problematic person. But I understand her irritation with the fact that Carl has not found a job, nor made any progress toward finding a job, in over a year. That's a nope from me. What is with the giant Man-Babies on this show?? Kyle too, ugh. Like, if you want to still be doing jello shots and peeing on your property line every weekend when you're 40, 50, 60... then you do you. But don't pretend you want to settle down and be a father. Especially when your partner seems to genuinely want kids.
  3. If Carl did have a podcast, it should be called Montaukin’ Thats all I’ve got.
  4. Could West actually be a nice guy?? And not, like, a pseudo-"nice guy" incel type but... actually a nice guy?? I'm sure I'll have this dream crushed, but it's comforting while it lasts.
  5. They're just all so unlikeable at this point.
  6. I remember being glad that they only cast reality personalities for season two since the “everyday people” in season one didn’t really seem to have the constitution for it. It seemed like reality TV people would have more of a sense that this was just a game. How wrong I was! Maybe moving forward they could only have “gamer” reality stars, as someone suggested, although I actually like the mix of people from different shows who bring different skills. Oh well. That said, I do think Phaedra has a legitimate gripe with Dan, as he came very close to the line of actually violating the rules of the show.
  7. I don't care what anyone says: that was a quality episode of TV.
  8. Ugh, here's where I am. Annemarie came in hot for a storyline with Esophogate, lied and was ridiculous, and Crystal was right to call her out. But, Crystal is also a snob and a half. Kyle is probably right that Dorit is too concerned with the overall sentiment of the fans. But the Teddi/Bravocon example was royally dumb. Garcelle is totally within her rights to be upset about what happened with her son, and I totally get her frustration that Dorit retreats into her veil of victimhood when told she might have said something offensive. But, it was pretty damn bold of Garcelle to heavily insinuate on camera that Dorit lied about the robbery. Like, if you want to do that, okay I guess. Clearly Garcelle is not alone in her opinion! BUT then Garcelle needs to stop acting like she's above the fray. You accuse a fellow cast member of fabricating a significant event in her life and you are in the fray, baby! Sutton is completely right that some of the other women, and Kyle in particular, are just downright mean to her! But, if Sutton thinks we are going to relate to her because now she has to "stand on her own two feet" as a horse-owning millionaire, then Sutton... lacks quite the dose of self-awareness. Speaking of lacking self awareness: Erika. They just... all kind of suck at this point. Who am I supposed to root for? All I've got is *checks list* Kyle's dogs, Sutton's horse, and Portia.
  9. I wonder if they'll bring up the allegations against her husband during the reunion.
  10. What's happening with her makeup also?? She looks jaundiced.
  11. Perhaps I'm alone in this, but I'm actually loving this show and this season, and I thought Phaedra was perfectly cast as a traitor. The one thing that's not jiving for me, as others have said, is the connection to the challenges. I haven't watched the UK or AUS versions of the show, so I'd be interested to see how well the challenges are integrated there. But from the two US seasons I've watch so far, there just doesn't seem to be any urgency to do well on the challenges. What's the incentive, other than the long odds of maybe winning some money on the off chance you do make it to the end? I feel like there needs to be some sort of more immediate benefit, like the shield goes to the top performer on the challenge. Of course you'd need some metric for determining that, which could be tricky. But say in the pontoon challenge, you could award the shield to the individual player who banked the most gold.
  12. Kyle’s daughters have really interesting faces. I don’t even mean that in a shady way! During the sit-down I was struck by how unusual all of their faces were - quite striking, really. That’s all I’ve got at this point. I don’t like any of the women on this show anymore.
  13. In one of her talking heads this episode, Phaedra is wearing a white outfit that we haven't seen before, so I'm going to guess MJ voted for Peter and that Phaedra sticks around a bit longer. But I've been wrong before!
  14. I'm not a huge Kate fan, but I have to say I'm kind of loving the Legally Blonde spin these two traitors are putting on the game. It's very, "I'll be a traitor - what, like it's hard?"
  15. Is there a person alive who could have watched what went down last season and is now thinking, "Wow, the other women really wronged Erika! They should apologize now and be more supportive of her legal victories!"? Like I am just so confused by this plotline.
  16. Cream cheese and jam on a bagel is the BEST!
  17. It was pretty anti-climactic knowing that Phaedra wasn't going to be banished at the round table, as she has not yet said the "I don't have to kiss your ass for a rose" line that we saw in the season preview.
  18. I agree with you! - not sure why that quote was attributed to me though? I didn’t write it. I thought she was interested in more than one gender? Not that it matters! Like I said, there are multiple reasons this hookup wouldn’t happen, except maybe in the realm of fan-fic!
  19. Was I the only one who was getting White Lotus, season 2, vibes from Sutton’s friends (Trevor in particular)? I was just glad that nobody went out on a yacht…
  20. Yeah, it’s like I don’t want to be unsympathetic because I know that grief lingers… but I was getting major Lady Morgan vibes from her in this episode. I keep thinking, is Erika really this dumb or does she just think the other women are? She wants them to apologize now that she’s been “vindicated,” and her evidence of said vindication is…a legal technicality? I find it interesting that even in her talking heads, she’s saying the courts couldn’t PROVE that the earrings were purchased with stolen funds, but she never outright says that’s because the earrings WEREN’T purchased with stolen funds. It is, as the kids say, “sus.”
  21. Re: CT not selecting Trishelle: We have to remember that CT's brain is basically a bowl of mashed potatoes next to a cartoon mouse hitting a cartoon cat on the head with a mallet. Dude is not all there. So, we can't expect his decisions to make logical sense. (Still, I'm on board for a spinoff in which CT and Phaedra travel the country in a van solving mysteries. Make it happen, Peacock!) But, that aside... as much as he said it was about "game play" (which actually does make sense because he and Trishelle are in different alliances) I suspect that CT just doesn't like Trishelle as much as he likes John. Which... same?
  22. I know this wouldn’t happen for many reasons but does anyone else think a Parvati/Peter hookup would be kind of hot? I’ll see myself out…
  23. This annoyed me too. It reminded me of how people came down hard on Cerie last season for…playing the game?! This is the GAME!
  24. PLEASE murder Trishelle. CT has *always* seemed… not quite right.
  25. A minor point in the greater scheme of things: it grates that people consistently mispronounce Parvati's name as "Poverty." Even my closed captioning is now getting in on the action! I have the same issue, and I'm shocked that nobody's watching this. It is objectively so, so good! I was just talking to someone who said that in the UK everyone watched The Traitors, since it's on network TV, but here... tragically confined to the sad garret of Peacock. :(
