I think Gil’s questions to the couples was producer driven. I’ve noticed this on other seasons as well. They get one person to ask the probing questions we all want to know. No one IRL asks those questions of others unless they’re good friends, and sometimes not even then. Gil doesn’t strike me as being that nosy. He is very outgoing and personable though, and so maybe that’s why they asked him to be the “moderator.”

Omg. At the bottom there was a podcast that discusses Josh’s case, including a description of one of Josh”s viewed videos, Daisy’s Destruction. The description alone is horrifying, and even though Josh did not produce that video, just his participation in purchasing that video, he should rot in jail forever. It’s that disgusting. He’s complicit in supporting that. He doesn’t belong anywhere near his children, or anyone else’s.

That’s extremely old school. With that being said, if I were Rachel, given her debt, I’d be excited to have Jose to help me get that under control. I think it would behoove them to consult a financial advisor to come up with a budget framework they’ll both be happy with. That way Jose won’t resent Rachel and her debt, and Rachel won’t feel she’s being controlled.

Sometimes reading this thread reminds me of the Trump quote—and I hate to quote Trump, “I can shoot someone one 5th Ave and not lose votes.” Insert “Amy” for “I.” She sure does have some loyal fans. I know if I had a friend in Amy’s situation, I’d host a party for her, but maybe have guest bring diapers for a woman’s shelter, or school supplies for some organization. As the guest of honor, I’d LOVE that, especially if I were a well known tv personality with some $ in the bank. I’d also advise my buddy not to wear a white wedding gown. My mom is getting married again and we’ve picked out a lovely red cocktail dress for her. She loves red.

That would be a great idea if she were without children, however, she is not. Those kids deserve to have their father, which is why, I suspect, she continues to work on her relationship with Asuelo. While he needs a lot of guidance on what fathers in America do, he seems to really love them and want them.
