  1. I think she was ready to go home, to be honest. I get that, but the worst idea ever is to "align" with someone who can arguably beat them in virtually any type of tattoo style (in this case, Chris) when it's the judges that decide who goes home. All they're doing with this nonsense is handing Chris the win on a platter, because they have no power to get him out once their "enemies" are gone. It just doesn't work in this context unless they're only working with other bottom feeders to get all the top guys out.
  2. When Chris busted out with the word "alliance" I lost it. I'll be the third to say it--this is NOT Survivor! You have to impress the judges, not each other. Idiots. I guess I'm rooting for Matt and Craig by default at this point. I used to like Dave, but his sucking up to Chris makes me think he might be too stupid for me to like him anymore.
  3. I always liked Mollie Sue's pixie cut the best--it was the first time Tyra picked the right girl for that 'do, and she worked it right on into a real modeling career after she was cut way too early in her season. I can't really argue with Brittany and Molly for the worsts, although Ebony from C5 with the long braids was pretty bad.
  4. From Monty's Watch/Skip Index: HEE! And SO DEAD ON.
  5. The previews gave away two of the makeovers: I'm thinking Peed-on-snow for Courtney or Ava, and maybe Devin. I see her giving him the Don makeover for some reason. Hadassah is soooo getting her head shaved it isn't even funny. Tyra hates pageant girls! Of course Tyra was keeping both Bello and Devin... she feeds on the drama like a vampire on blood. Maybe that's what keeps her looking young. I really need Nyle to improve, because he has to stick around. He is sooooo pretty to look at, and seems like a nice guy. He needs to stick around to help Justin (who isn't going anywhere anytime soon) balance out Stefano and Mikey, because they are horrible.
  6. I think we'll still see Francis going after Reba when he sees her with someone else. Just because he broke it off with her doesn't mean his jealousy won't take over. I also think we'll see the Freddie Loundes storyline play out. I said it in another thread, but Fuller has actually, in my opinion, set up the wheelchair incident perfectly. Francis knows every public tidbit about Will and Freddie, including her faked death from season 2. The Dragon will want to punish them both and will carry it out for real this time.
  7. Ava reminds me of Jaime King, which is why I like her. And I also think there's no way Bello's eyes are real. I hope he sticks around just long enough for the judges to find out they're fake, and then they give him the boot.
  8. Lindsey made a romper. A ROMPER. On a design show. I think she and her eye rolling are already dead to me. All I could think whenever I saw Kelly was that she's stuck in 1988. I'm not sure how she made it on this show, and I admire her pluckiness, but I didn't realize guidette chic was a fashionable aesthetic. Had I been in that work room, I would have had to politely ask Merline to shut it. Good attitude or no, she was being rude and ill-mannered, and I was hoping someone would diplomatically speak up about it.
  9. YES. I'm betting Hadassah for the head shaving, because we all know how Tyra loves picking on pageant girls.
  10. I just can't deal with Bello. Of course, I know this means he's a lock for the house, because he is horrible. Hadassah is Kelle 2.0, right on down to the valley girl inflections. Hence, Tyra will likely torture her. I also knew Nyle was in the minute they revealed he was deaf. I mean, he probably would make it anyway, because he is HOT, but there's no way Tyra is cutting a HOT guy with a hearing disability. He's a lock.
  11. Hugh Dancy has been cast as the lead in The Way, a series for Hulu: http://tvline.com/2015/08/04/hugh-dancy-the-way-cast-hulu-jason-katims/
  12. The lack of federal response is driving me nuts. In the real world, the President would have declared a state of emergency on such a plague and sent whatever reinforcements were necessary. This season started off well, but I swear they're starting to lose me.
  13. That's what I meant. He was new to her, but certainly not to the company. It'd almost be like going to lunch or an after work drink with someone from a different department at a job you just started. I don't think many of us would think twice about that, especially if we were single and, perhaps, heard positive things from our other coworkers.
  14. I definitely think Reba's willingness to go with Francis would've felt less random had we heard the same sort of background from her that we did in the Red Dragon film. Also, though, I have to remind myself not to look at it through the paranoid eyes of someone living in this time period--once upon a time, we all might have accepted a ride from a new coworker and offered him a piece of pie. Especially if, as in the RD film, . Price annoyed me with his concern over the cat versus the dead children. I think he's officially on my List now.
  15. I remember seeing Justin first on that show where two teams competed by opening a pop up "restaurant." It was him with wife #1, and he acted like a pretentious douche of epic proportions. When he was on FNS, I thought he acquitted himself a bit better, but I also now think that was just an act to get the win.
  16. My thought was that it's her way of making sure he never gets out--she feels safer if she's there overseeing his imprisonment than she would if she left it to someone else.
  17. Exactly. I've been cooking and baking since I was a child, but I still wasn't familiar with the term framboise. If you're going to host a show that teaches cooking, you have to assume your audience isn't going to know every culinary term that a trained chef does, but know how to explain them in a way that isn't condescending. I think that's what Kermit and Medusa were getting at.
  18. I have to wonder if we'll find out exactly why Hannibal got off so lightly. To me, it would make sense for both Chilton and Alana to have helped him, because he has information on both of them that could also send them to prison--Alana being an accomplice to Mason Verger kidnapping and torturing Hannibal, and Chilton's unethical practices with Abel Gideon and others.
  19. I get how the artiness could become tiresome (I don't agree, but it's because I still find it all visually stunning). That said, when the show pulls off something like the scene where Will is walking through the victims' house, and the bodies appear when his flashlight shines on them, then disappear when he moves it, make all the other stuff worth it for me. The only thing I'm coming up with is this, and it's pretty scary (but a seemingly isolated event): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keddie_murders
  20. So Richard Armitage... yeah... that was pretty amazing. Both Tom Noonan and Ralph Fiennes did a great job with the character, but it already looks like Armitage might outdo them both. Regarding Freddie, Finally, the look on Chilton's face when he realized what kind of blood had been in Lecter's dessert when he ate it before was priceless!
  21. I'm so excited for this! I also find it hilarious that a bad wig could transform Jean Smart into Jean Stapleton!
  22. I still don't think it works. Hannibal was taken into custody right after Mason's murder, and he couldn't very well murder him while he was locked up. Unless someone (Alana, possibly) gets pregnant within a few days, literally, the timing still doesn't match up.
  23. But...but... what happened to the poor mama pig? If they do keep Mason's death a secret, they can't frame Hannibal for the murder or they'll give away the timing. I'm not sure exactly how they'll work around that, to be honest.
  24. It depends on what the contract says that she signed in order to participate. If part of the deal was that she had to remain sequestered until the competition was over, then yes--FN could sue her for breach of contract if she went home without authorization. Contestants practically sign their souls away to participate in these things.
  25. Fully agreed. It wouldn't be OK if Jay had been female and Arnold straight, and I was also put off by it. I'm a mom, and I get how it could be difficult to be away from your kids like that. It's why I'd never apply for a reality competition that required me to be away from home for several weeks, because there's no way I'd want to leave my young daughter for that long. Michelle's biggest problem was that she let the lure of potential "stardom" (Don't laugh... I know what show this is!) cloud her ability to think through what happens when you go on a show like this. I'm not a fan of quitters, but if she had won (I know, I know... don't laugh at that either!), she probably would've pulled an Amy and backed out anyway. Better that she's out now. The only reasons Dom is still around is that he obviously is a better, more consistent cook than anyone (Bobby clearly likes his food the best out of all the contestants) and Giada thinks he's cute. That said, I thought he was good in the video, and this was probably his best week. I expect Alex to go next, Then they'll finally give Dom his walking papers.
