Up until this moment my 9yo honestly thought that "no BS" stood for "no bullshit." Every year my town has a Mushroom Festival and a big part of it is a huge rock show. It's amazing. My area is known for agates and people come from all over the country to pick morels and to go rock hounding in our creeks.

So is the "big fat baby" in the title referring to Whitney? So it's okay for her to talk about her mental health and her depression but the minute Buddy mentions HIS she throws a hissy fit?

Why is she so loud all the time? The bellowing alone would drive me away.

She acts like she's so strong and determined to be doing things like this, only it's NOT her being "strong." it's literally putting others' lives in danger.

I'm right up there with you, sister. I haven't been able to tear myself away. The crime shows alone have had me glued to it. That would make sense and explain some of the hostility.

It's probably not. The farm next to us does this to offset their costs. They raise alpacas, Shetland ponies, chickens, pot bellied pigs, and dwarf cows, donkeys, and goats. Schools, clubs, and private citizens come in and tour, feed, bathe, and exercise the animals. They also gather eggs and in the summertime they help shear (they bring in pros to shear but visitors help gather the fur). They also take their animals to fairs and different things and set up as a petting zoo. This is a side gig for them but they earn around $30,000 a year from it. Insurance is $250 per month. Actually, the farm I'm talking about just bought an animal from Brandon's family about 2 weeks ago. Despite their horror at the idea of their son possibly having sex, it seems that's mostly what they do-breed.

It seemed to be a bit of the emperor's new clothes. All it took was for a few people to buy into it and then spread it around. They created a myth around him so by the time the new people met him they already had preconceived notions of him. So he really didn't have to fool thousands of people, just a handful and then he relied on herd mentality.

I don't get it with Keith either. It MUST be something that just doesn't translate to screen? Even Jim Jones was attractive and charismatic in the early years.

We've used claw caps before and they never looked anything like Whitney's cat's claws. It really does look like she's painted them.

Me too but, honestly, the people they were "conning" sounded crazier than them.

The "hike" itself is neither slippery nor steep. It's pretty flat and is considered an easy hike. Whitney choosing to climb the waterfall is all on her-it's not a part of the trail at all.

She doesn't seem to realize that she needs the audience. And that the day we quit talking about her is the day she loses her show.

Also, NONE of this has ever been addressed on the show or their social media stuff. She seems to pull it out of her ass when she's backed into a corner.

I started rewatching the early seasons. It's like one of those little flip books where, if you do it fast enough, you can see the cartoon guy move. Only in this case Whitney gets more terrible.

My ex was full-blooded Cree and used to perform in full gear at Pow Wows. Every time I see John with his little fringe I'm reminded of how good my ex made HIS stuff look... Poor John. And they're really fucking around with her mom's alleged recovery with this bullshit story arc.

I don't ever want to hear John alluding to sex again. Ever.

As many times as she's gotten naked on this show, what made her think they'd stop filming? Everyone knows that the best way to give them unusable material is to start singing. She did what she did because she panicked. Panicked for herself, not for Buddy.

IMO Whitney doesn't want to date Buddy. She wants to keep him up on a shelf, single and tethered to her, so that she can take him down and play with him whenever she wants.
