She was awesome. She's playing a part and knows it. There was something refreshingly innocent about those early reality stars. And, apparently, Rock of Love was more "real" than I thought at the time-at least the first 2 seasons, anyway.

Same. I keep hoping that someday someone will "accidentally" release the rest of Megan Wants a Millionaire.

Makes me reminisce on VH1's Celebreality days of yore...

I have no clue who TS Madison is, but was that New York with her?

No, Brittany's in a constant state of anxiety that Sharp will write her out of the show if she doesn't produce more drama. (Astroturf lawns don't count.)

Either they filmed all of Sarah's scenes in one week or they're just lucky that the same Air BnB is always available.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Puppy fan (not to be confused with being a puppy fan, which I am) but she clearly likes Amber. Maybe loves her. If Amber's not gonna reciprocate then she needs to rehome.

Not wanting to offend, but is Shawn...slow? He acts, sounds, and reacts like I do after I come out of surgery and haven't had time for the anesthesia to completely wear off.

Compared to Puppy's littered yard, Brittany and Marcelino's yard looks like the garden center at Wal-Mart.

I'm here! I had to take a few swigs of something strong first.

Mother Kristiana's style may be a few decades off, but she looks a little healthier. Her color's better.

Social Media: What's Up With Her?
mamadrama replied to ClareWalks's topic in My Big Fat Fabulous Life
Same, except I go beyond Goodwill and have started going to Goodwill outlet stores where you pay by the pound, not piece. One of the best things Whitney could do is push collabs with larger size clothing companies (or companies that have larger sizes) and do actual placement stuff. Her gravy train is grinding to a halt and she's done little to nothing to capitalize on it. She's barely monetized her "personality" (as in her name). The cruises will stop without the show. She didn't do a damn thing with BGDC, like franchise it. Her "clothing line" barely existed. When the show stops she's basically got disability and the occasional GFM to look forward to. -
Good point about Instacart. It's not even a 9-5 job... It took my husband's podcast about a year to really make money and he was already a personality in his niche when he started it. By the time his own podcast came out he'd already appeared as a guest on dozens of others, had a big social media following, was writing for a popular website...Ben, on the other hand, is starting from scratch. He also didn't need $400 worth of equipment. We started out with an $89 snowflake mic, laptop, and Audacity (a free editing program). You typically don't invest in fancy recording equipment until you start recording and begin seeing exactly what you need. On the flipside, I think Ben and Becky should be co-hosts. They have good chemistry.

I call my cats, dogs, and occasionally my kids "turkey" and "turkey butt" depending on how I'm feeling. Honestly, I feel like her relationship with her cats is probably the least weirdest thing about her.

S08.E12:Whitney Gets Her Groove Back

I thought that was Ashley standing there at the kitchen counter. Not that it matters-your point is still valid. 😊 -
I wouldn't let my adult daughter pay both her AND her boyfriend's bills in my house. Shit happens. People lose jobs. People get sick. That's not what happened here, though. Ben willingly gave up his job without good reason. If Darlene and Ben want to live in their OWN place and she wants to support their household while he gets his podcast going then that's one thing. In my house, however, everyone contributes. It's only between the two of them when it's actually just the two of them. Right now it's not.

My husband runs a popular podcast. He earns fairly good money from it. Ben's right, it DOES take a shit ton of work. My DH didn't quit either one of his jobs, though. I understand where Ben's coming from but literally quitting before he's even tried recording anything, and during a pandemic, is grossly irresponsible. If I were Dan, I'd make him move out. And I like Ben.

It was a video consultation so there wasn't a weigh in. It may very well have been staged, but lots of doctors are doing these right now. If she were actually being assessed for surgery then she would need an in-person appointment, but that's not what this was. -

When she was talking to the doctor about the surgery she was saying very superficial things, like wanting something "different." Meanwhile my son is sitting here screaming at the TV and saying, "Sure, Twit. Leave out the pre-diabetes, arthritis, limited mobility, sleep apnea..." She seems hellbent on believing that it's just her weight holding her back in relationships. It's not. It's her personality, but to admit that she'd have to admit to herself that she has issues. Like most of Now's patients it seems like she's looking at this like a magic bullet. It's not. As the doc said, she'll have to make lifestyle changes. -

Getting through this one was a struggle. The entire episode could be summed up with the following: Whitney, seeking validation for her fragile ego, threatens to get WLS and proceeds to survey everyone in her life in hopes of hearing those magic words-"You're sexy and beautiful and healthy already; don't do it." Next week there are some totally new storylines:
