  1. Not the first time on these boards. The Ignore Content tool is very useful. Anyone notice that Lisa said "phoh" (long o) the first time, and corrected her pronunciation later? I made the same mistake many years ago. But I laughed at Lisa because she always insists she knows everything. Also, Mary said something like "I'm glad you resume back to me." It struck me as an example of disordered speech (thought disorder). Sometimes her difficulty with speaking is very obvious. I have criticized Heather's facial "upgrades" and makeup because they are so odd. At the luncheon it was clear she'd had her makeup professionally done, and it made a remarkable difference. So Heather's brother suddenly decided to leave the church and talk about it on TV? I believe Heather has a lot of siblings - this could take a while. I will never see Meredith without thinking "Buddy Hackett." It is hilarious.
  2. This series is dreadful. I made it through 1 1/2 episodes.
  3. Finally, a healthy dose of pretty fashion. I loved Aaron's, Kristina's and Chantal's looks. I wonder if Christian telling some designers how to improve their designs is because the producers aren't happy with the results otherwise. Once again we have Elaine trying to pull the camera's focus.
  4. My family member had "invisible" COVID after vaccination. We discovered it during an ER visit for something else. The nurses said that even if he was asymptomatic, he could be shedding the virus and infecting unvaccinated people, such as the toddlers and babies in our family, and anyone who is unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons. They ejected me from the hospital and we both had to go into quarantine.
  5. I suspect Jen will not be able to avoid the lure of testifying. One last chance to fake-cry and flail her arms around to a rapt audience.
  6. I am - ahem- curvy and would kill for SS' posterior. No shame in form-fitting. But this dress seemed poor fit vs form-fitting because of the way it pulled at the hips and bust. Perhaps I've been watching too much Project Runway. I appreciate the suggestion that the fit was intentional to reflect Shiv's harried state of mind and/or pregnancy.
  7. Shiv's eyes in her sidelong glances remind me of Simone Signoret. I was a bit distracted by the poor fit of her flowered dress. So many of her mannerisms are one-note, so it was good to see the actress given the chance to show some range. I'd seen Tom M. in multiple British productions and was underwhelmed, but holy cow this is the performance of a lifetime. It is uncanny. Hopefully the next season will be as compelling as this last episode was. In some of the earlier episodes I was bored.
  8. "I should have just had dogs." Chilling.
  9. It has bugged me who Vanessa resembles. Last night I realized I was thinking of Tiffany Fallon, former Miss Georgia, Playboy Bunny, and occasional actress - married to a country music star. Tiffany Fallon IMDB Photo
  10. I'm assuming that production would not be able to shift everything by one day - rebook the models, availability of what may be a contracted production team, Billy Porter's limited availability.
  11. And due to the car accident, they lost a valuable day of work. Shame on you Aaron. Christian and his twirls and his vibe with Chasity = love. We needed that moment after the car accident and the nasty fighting. I can't wait for Elaine to be replaced. She's useless and has a self-aggrandizing agenda (I've seen her on other shows). I see the Choctaw on Zayden's beautiful face. Whispers: *I loved the pink quilting.*
  12. Ryan's thought bubble during the intervention: "For now they won't let me in their houses or give me money. I'll go to detox and get my body healthy and have food and a roof over my head. I'll leave when I believe the enablers' resolve has disappeared."
  13. Same thing with the realtor on Selling the Big Easy. A Primetimer poster simply looked at Zillow and such to uncover the fact that the homes didn't sell when it was claimed, or didn't sell at all. In some cases the buyers had already purchased their homes, but pretended to be shopping and toured the home they had already purchased.
  14. My neighbor is a top-selling agent of long standing, and she works her ass off 7 days a week. "I'm a realtor" is the same thing as "I'm a videographer" (anyone who buys a camera) or 'I'm an influencer" (anyone with an Instagram account). Now I'm convinced that the ones I named have their licenses (for legal reasons) but just dabble. I forgot to add the one who flies back and forth to Miami. She may be a "real" agent of long-time standing who works part-time, including for commercial projects and other stuff we won't see.
  15. Is there a reliable database that shows the names of agents who sold a property? I'm beginning to think that only a few of these "realtors" are real, or perhaps they are only part-time in order to be on the show. I can see Mary, Davina and others offscreen being fulltime. Amanza may be an as-needed designer and stager (independent contractor). But Christine, Crishelle, the one who "owns lots of companies," and Heather seem like reality TV characters. They don't strike me as realtors who are pounding the pavements every day. I think Crishelle and Heather are quite new to the business, yet they both glommed onto TV personalities.
  16. Jen's attorney is requesting the case be dismissed. Claims the Hulu documentary has prejudiced the jury pool.
  17. CDAN (Crazy Days and Nights) says that Lisa and Harry are having money troubles. It says Harry is doing autograph-signing in Canada.
  18. The linked article cites someone named Cameron. Could it be the same Cameron who's linked to Mary, and who passed recently?
  19. Just started season 2. Is actress Charity Wakefield pregnant in her scenes as Georgina?
  20. I came over here to post that I watched the Thanksgiving game with family and I was so disappointed to see so little of the cheerleaders. I'm spoiled by the MTT show and didn't realize how little broadcast time they get. My brothers were all "we watch for the football, silly."
  21. I've binged the series the past month, which reveals how well-plotted and written it is. My one complaint is how one-note Shiv's character is. (I guess Logan is as well.) They have her striding busily in and out of scenes, talking rapidly, occasionally offering insincere affection to Tom. She does a lot of that abrupt dialogue, especially when talking to Tom, where they kind of talk over each other or communicate in short bursts. It's an effort to sound real but it's affected. Speaking of Tom, Macfadyen is a delight in the role.
  22. I was looking forward to indulging myself with some fun reality TV on Black Friday, but this latest season is badly produced. I had to FF through some of it. The rent-a-music is annoying. They all sound clueless with their inane chatter. Mary's face is so f****d up that she slurs her speech. And she still exhibits the odd jerky body movements. I'm out.
  23. The last thing this family needs is to be exploited by ABC and Diane Sawyer.
  24. I think Jess is protecting her grandmother's health privacy. Lee has turned into a caricature. Eddie is a loser. Not enough time in the day to list all the reasons. Well, one: he's smarmy.
  25. When this story first hit the news, the media stated it was Coach that called Jen. They also stated her aunt was driving the truck.
