Luke Treadaway's twin brother, Harry was in Penny Dreadful. I guess if they hire one for the Doctor, they can use the other for the Master.

It may not be the Valeyard, but I still think the person in the Vault is some regeneration of the Doctor. -
Season 10: Spoilers and Spoiler Discussion

This isn't a spoiler, just speculation: I know the most obvious theory of who's in the vault is John Simm's Master, but could it be the Valeyard? I haven't watched Trial of a Time Lord in over a decade (I didn't enjoy the Colin Baker era), but wasn't he supposed to be the Thirteen Doctor? Which is the next regeneration. Could Twelve have made an oath to keep him under lock and key because the only person who can really defeat the Doctor is the Doctor? Is it possible that in the Christmas special Twelve will battle Thirteen, possibly with the help of the First Doctor, forcing him to regenerate into Fourteen, giving us a Doctor who only lasts for one episode? Also, the Mirror says Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the new Doctor, but they said the same thing about Kris Marshall a few weeks back, so grain of salt and all. -
I don't think Bill could be Susan because that would mean either her mother or father was the Doctor's child (or Jenny, I guess), and I don't see them going there. It's possible, I suppose, if they want to go Extra!Special!Timey-Wimey. We're expecting Twelve to regenerate, but maybe Bill does too, and she regenerates into CAF. Then, Twelve sends her off with the First Doctor, who's supposed to be in the Christmas special. Of course, Bill likes girls, and Susan left the Doctor to marry a man. No, wait, Bill said she mostly likes girls, so there's some wiggle room. Anyway, I think they're probably just screwing around with us. I liked David Suchet, but I wasn't really into the plot. They didn't develop the roommates enough for me to get invested in them. It had some interesting ideas, and I always enjoy Bill and the Doctor interacting, but for me this was the weakest episode so far. For anybody who hasn't read the link I posted in the All Seasons thread, Harry, the guy the Doctor was running around with, was supposed to be Classic Who companion Harry Sullivan's grandson but they cut the line referencing him. Here's the link to the story: http://www.doctorwho.tv/whats-new/article/doctor-who-series-10-knock-knock-character-is-classic-companion-s-grandson

Season 10: Spoilers and Spoiler Discussion
Lokiberry replied to azshadowwalker's topic in Doctor Who
There's a rumor going around that they've booked Eddie's Diner in Cardiff (Clara's Tardis, and the diner Eleven visited with Amy and Rory in Lake Silencio) for filming in the middle of July. If true, I guess that means Clara will be back for the Christmas special. I was expecting it, but it's still disappointing. -
S03.E15: Heroes Rise: How the Riddler Got His Name
Lokiberry replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Gotham
Oswald got the drop on Fish, but got all sentimental when she said that she was the one who made him the Penguin, so he let her go, and she hasn't been seen since. Harvey Dent hasn't been around in awhile. Clone!Bruce was one of Hugo Strange's experiments. I assume he was created at the behest of the Court of Owls so they could replace Real!Bruce. -
Of course she will, somebody has to smirk down at him while he breathes his last. Also, since her TARDIS got stuck in the form of the diner he visited with the Ponds, it does suggest that she's been traveling through time creeping on him. I wonder if she followed him to Darillium and hid under the bed. Wouldn't be the first time. Anyway, I've watched The Pilot three times now, and when the Doctor is standing by the TARDIS, inviting Bill to join him he says "maybe someday you'll find him". Who does he mean? Her father? We haven't been told anything about him.

After the Doctor pulls Clara out of time the instant before her death, he decides (for some reason) that the only way to protect her from the Time Lords (who want to put her back because if she doesn't die the whole universe will be destroyed. The big meanies) is to erase her memories. Clara objects. They argue. Clara fiddles with the memory eraser thing, and changes it so that if it's used, they can't tell in advance who's memories will be erased. They use it anyway, and the Doctor's memories are wiped. He works out that he had a companion named Clara, but he doesn't remember anything about her. Clara gloats, asks Ashilder to be her companion, and flies off with a stolen TARDIS, with a broken chameleon circuit that's stuck in the form of that diner Amy, Rory and the Doctor visited in The Impossible Astronaut. And no, that's not fanfiction.

OMG, you're right! I totally forgot that Susan was in The Five Doctors. In my defense, I haven't watched it in at least 15 years. I also enjoyed the jar full of sonic screwdrivers. Maybe it was Moffat's way of making up for those dumb sonic sunglasses. This episode felt like a combination of RTD and Classic Who. I hope the rest of the series is like this.

I liked it too. :) Bill was perfect: down to earth, a bit down on her luck, curious, and eager to travel with and learn from the Doctor. She was like early series 1 Rose (before she got to be too much). This is the kind of companion that I've been waiting for since 7b. I also liked Nardole, if for no other reason than he's a companion who's not a modern 20 something female. I loved the pictures of River and Susan on the Doctor's desk. I think that might be the first mention we've had of Susan since the 60s. I loved that there was just something about Bill that struck a chord in the Doctor and reminded him of his granddaughter. He's a lonely man, who's family is gone, making a connection with someone despite himself. I'm really looking forward to how this relationship will develop. From the previews, I thought it would be just professor and student (which would be great, and very in keeping with Classic Who), but Bill is lonely too. Her foster mother seems very uncaring. The only sour note was in the scene where the Doctor was going to wipe Bill's memory, and we were "treated" to Clara's theme song. I thought we were meant to have forgotten about her. Other than that, this was a wonderful return of the show. I'm really looking forward to this series.

Did Fitz call Aida "Ophelia"? Because there is a Madame Hydra aka Ophelia Sarkissian in the comics.

Season 10: Spoilers and Spoiler Discussion
Lokiberry replied to azshadowwalker's topic in Doctor Who
I think the last two series have been terrible. 7b was pretty sucky too, but it had Matt Smith and I love him, so I'll cut it some slack. I hope S10 is better now that they've dumped the dead weight. S11 with Chibnall and the 13th Doctor is a chance to start new, and recapture some of the fun and magic that's been missing from the dark and obsessional stories of the last few series. -

This all sounds awesome. I've read some theories that Missy rounds up the other Masters and they go back and kidnap the First Doctor to steal his regenerations. -

IMDB is notoriously unreliable. Don't put your hopes in anything it has to say, particularly this far out from the new season. -
The Gallifreyan General regenerated from a white man to a Black woman in Hell Bent.

Spoilers & Speculation: Running Hot & Cold
Lokiberry replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Legends Of Tomorrow
Well, didn't they say that they were going to do something with Jonah Hex that the fans would just love next season? What if the Legends go back to the Old West and find that he and Rip have been shacking up, I mean, teaming up to fight Evol? How I interpret Showrunner!Speak is that AD is no longer a regular, but he might make an appearance or two if the details can be worked out. ETA: Here's a couple of articles on Rip's departure: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2017-04-06/has-arthur-darvill-left-legends-of-tomorrow-again http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow/news/a825274/arthur-darvill-leaves-dc-legends-of-tomorrow-again/ https://www.bustle.com/p/what-happened-to-rip-on-legends-of-tomorrow-the-former-captains-future-is-up-in-the-air-49142 -
Yeah, the copying is getting a bit much, particularly since their version tends to fall really short of the original. Last season, I appreciated that they let us know right away that Wentworth Miller had really left the show and there wouldn't be any timey wimey business to bring him back (as a regular that is), and I hope they do the same with AD. I'm 99% sure he's gone for good, but I'd like confirmation so I can decide what I'm going to be doing on tuesday nights next season.

Yes, and I was trying to say the same thing (before I got mod!smacked for posting in the wrong thread). I knew when he posted that picture, he was gone. Uh, I also said in the post that got deleted that Nate was a douche-wielding waste of space, and I really want that sentiment recorded for posterity. :)

It wasn't Commander Steel. Amaya was in love with Hourman, who died in 2x01. She came with the Legends to get revenge on the person who killed him. Star-Girl/Merlin chose to stay in Camelot because she was in love with Arthur. I'm not sure who the other woman of color and/or lesbian is. Do you mean Guinevere? ETA: Also, Sara isn't a lesbian, she's bisexual.

Spoilers & Speculation: Running Hot & Cold

Yeah, you're probably right. If they wipeout Doomworld then that team should go with it, leaving the 1916 team with knowledge of anything that happened during that year.
