  1. It's not a super-wide spray, it's pretty focused. And you get used to doing it. The first few times I used mine, I did get some overspray, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. And it takes a few coats, but you don't look like you've pancaked the shit on your face. Of course, mine is now in the cabinet collecting dust since I haven't worn make-up in over two years.
  2. Since my go to is anyone but Brady, I'm cool with whoever.
  3. JJ and Joe are recognizable to the target audience. Credible? 🤔
  4. Totally agree. When the series first began, I ranked the Big Three Randall, Kevin, Kate. Now, one and two have flipped, and Randall is only edging out Kate by the slimmest of margins. Kate actually seems to be more self-centered than Randall to me, and that's saying something.
  5. I totally forgot about this commercial!!!!11 Loved it when it came out. "It hurts but I kinda like it!" 😂
  6. I can't stand any of them probably because when they first started appearing, the guy talking it up slurred his words and I swear he was saying Eugenics.
  7. I'm guessing it was just me, since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere else here (unless I missed it, LOTS to read) but I got weird vibes from Kevin when he was visiting Madison after Franny (?) walked for the first time. I was thinking he would be heading to a lawyer to actually work up a visitation schedule.
  8. No, he's gone. I knew he was dead, but wasn't sure when so thank you, Google. He died in 2009.
  9. Believe me, I totally understand that every little bit helps; like I said, I work non-profit. But out of that $5, maybe half goes to actually help the animals once fees/overhead/etc. are taken out. And I guarantee you that whoever has to process those $5 donations is rolling their eyes at every single one.
  10. The Kayak commercial where the daughter tells her boyfriend not to mention Kayak because apparently her mother is a Kayak conspiracy theorist or something. REALLY hate that one, because conspiracy theorists are nothing to laugh at, especially now.
  11. I did my donation, but I did $100 in honor of how old she would have been. Five dollar donations are a nice gesture, but as someone who works in non-profit, they don't amount to much once the credit card companies take their fees, a portion is allocated to overhead, etc.
  12. For me, the aforementioned Godsmack/Shinedown concert. It was my second time seeing them and I was hoping it would be better than the last, but it was not. Shitty venue. Second place would be both times I saw Seether. Again, shitty venue, but a different one than the Godsmack concert. The sound was distorted both times.
  13. Here's what I don't get. The jerk's already used the squeegee. Why doesn't he just get in his no-gas car and drive away instead of arguing with the owner?
  14. I've been to one concert since COVID hit, but it was during a downswing, so I was okay with going. It was a small venue, sound was OK, but it was a good show, Delta Rae. I've seen them twice and they're good live.
  15. The shows themselves were kick-ass for sure, but the sound. Ugh. Best one of them was when they opened for Metallica, but apparently Metallica didn't want to be upstaged by them and Godsmack's sound was turned way down. I haven't seen a concert in the new arena yet - no one I want to see bad enough - but I've heard the sound there is good. A lot of the venues around here aren't that great. Best place for a concert here is the Carnegie Music Hall in Homestead, which is an old time auditorium, with fixed seats (with cushions!). Acoustics are fantastic. I've seen Sully Erna solo there and Aaron Lewis from Staind twice, before he went totally country. The first Aaron Lewis concert was the best one I have ever seen.
  16. Back to an old post, but Halestorm & Evanescence are coming to a venue here. Wouldn't mind seeing them, but the venue is total shit. Former (maybe current, I don't know, don't follow the sport) basketball arena so the acoustics totally suck. Saw Godsmack and Shinedown there and I think it was the worst concert I've ever been to, and I was at Ozzfest where a drunk threw up on my shoes. Come to think of it, I've seen Godsmack 3 times and none of them were good shows. Not the fault of Godsmack, but the venues and the other artists on the bill.
  17. When I worked in a deli, we had one of those that we used when we pre-sliced the sale stuff. I wanted one so bad at home. Still do.
  18. For a split second, I thought the woman in the car was Shawna and I was thinking why would Deja's birth mother be there? And when I couldn't remember her name and they said Edie, I was totally perplexed. Until Nicky hugged her.
  19. I agree, they've not been great, but I did laugh at the Tiktok one.
  20. Yeah, we watched two episodes and I've found her VERY irritating. Not that I believe in corporal punishment, but in her case, I'll make an exception. Omicron spreads like wildfire, but the good thing is it isn't as deadly, even for non-vaccinated, and you typically don't lose taste and smell. All I had was what felt like a very bad head cold, my youngest had a sore throat and some congestion and my husband had some congestion and body aches. It kills me how long it takes to get results. And some employers now want you at work regardless. I miss our old office manager who would send you home with the sniffles. She'd never allow you in the office now. This new one actually accuses you of faking it if you're sick on a Monday. The one employee that is required to be there daily actually went in when he home-tested positive for COVID because he had been on vacation and didn't want her to accuse him of faking it on the day he was due back in, Monday.
  21. Oh, do. It is really an awesome show. And Timothy Olyphant is mighty fine to look at. We watched that the other day, thought it was pretty good. So we set the DVR to record it, since it shows up a few weeks later on CMT. No need to pay for Paramount+.
  22. He didn't have his moustache when he did an arc on Justified and it was really hard to watch him. I would close my eyes when he talked and picture him with the 'stache
  23. Thanks for the clarification! I always thought he died in the 80s and Pete died in the 90s, but now that I think about it (and check the internets to see that I'm right), Newhart ended in 1990 and Pete didn't see the end, so he had to have died in the 80s. I don't think they'd make Trevor's death a straight OD anyway. Not the right message. Maybe a heart attack from an unknown source (hint, hint).
