So glad this show is back! Wish it was more episodes though.

I'm pretty sure this is still the pregnancy from last season.

I’m officially rooting for Penn and Kim. I love their calm, efficient approach to the race. Penn is just rocking everything - he knew French at the last leg, he easily reached the clue in the tree this leg…as someone who has a kid with ADHD, my heart dropped when he chose to do the saint quiz. I know how easily he could have spaced out with someone droning on for 15 minutes and he still managed to use the ADHD to his benefit and hyper focus instead, I love it! But what a waste of a 2nd souvlaki on someone who can’t tolerate onion. Gimme it!

What in the world does Che love about Miranda? She seems so nuts every time they’re together. And how selfish of Carrie to call her coworker at 2:30am. She knows nothing about his life but she knows he’s awake at that time? And she calls to ask such a stupid question.

I’m really rooting for Kim and Penn. I know they’re not a favorite but Penn seems very genuine with his energy and enthusiasm. And 4 episodes in, we haven’t seen them lose their cool with each other. I hope they explain their thinking for this, it makes no sense unless he’s too big again.

At what point did CT see Josh and Esther hook up? Was it in the club? I might have fast forwarded through Emy’s song too much and missed his reaction.

Emy’s song was the worst ear worm and now it’ll be stuck in my head all night. Blegh. The challenge wasn’t that fun to watch since it was the same spinning around for all teams and we couldn’t even see what symbols they were trying to figure out.

Nothing this season will be as funny as Cory’s reaction to his partner’s laugh.

This movie was way too long, could have cut out 20-30 min easily. I like alien fighting/time travel movies but this didn’t do it for me. Just made me want to watch Edge of Tomorrow again. And having people do the jump and arrive 10 feet above the ground might account why only 30% came back in the first place! Work on closing that gap, scientists! I’m always happy to see Richard Splett but he was wasted in this role.

I’m surprised there aren’t more replies about this movie. I loved it. Animation was top-notch, story was interesting and it kept me laughing from beginning to end. Eric and Deborah made the movie for me.

For anyone else who enjoyed the music as much as I did.

This season basically played most of the stuff I have on my iPod...yes I still use my iPod. “I will always love you” was great but playing “Waterfalls” as everyone is falling out of their canoes really gave me a chuckle.

It stinks that this season is so short but I’m happy to cancel my Paramount subscription as soon as this ends. I don’t remember Jisela from previous challenges but she was a pain this episode. This was the drama queen bullshit I don’t like from the usual challenges. She did next to nothing at the elimination and I feel bad for Kendal who did so well the whole season...I felt her when she said this challenge reminded her about who she was before she had to become a responsible adult.

I’m loving this season but it’s steadily becoming less about the challenge and more about which long-forgotten song will I hear next.

I feel like Teck got cheated. He started throwing up and TJ goes “ready?” and blows his horn. Poor Teck had to sprint forward with stuff still flying out of his mouth. TJ could have given him a moment!

I would have loved to see Landon compete again. One of my all-time fave.

I’m already more interested in this season than the past 3 of the usual Challenge. I love seeing all these people that are closer to my age. I can only hope that means there won’t be as many fights about some nonsense...The 90’s music is giving me a nice dose of nostalgia as well.

Like others said, I was basically watching the show for the teenage girls. Their chemistry was much more believable to me. The 80’s scenes were hard to watch. How much Vaseline was smeared on the actors’ faces to smooth them out like that? It was close to uncanny valley. I read up on the spoilers for the rest of the story just so I wouldn’t have to keep guessing and it’s a big NO for me. I’m guessing the next season wouldn’t show their teenage friendship any more so my interest went out the window.

Cloud’s old age makeup is the laziest work I’ve seen on a show.

I have a hard time believing Kevin would be that stupid as to drive around flashing his money roll. He has more street smarts than that. And it’s definitely a dementia storyline for Frank which makes me sad. Frank is a horrible man but I love William H Macy’s portrayal of him. Don’t really want to see him confused and lost.

For those concerned about audience safety, this is part of the current requirement. “All guests will be required to take a mandatory COVID-19 test upon arrival. This is a self-administered lower nasal antigen test with results yielded before the show.” I know those tests aren’t foolproof but along with wearing masks and temp checks, I wouldn’t be concerned that this is a super spreader event.

Oh for sure the actual challenge of the race doesn’t compare but I miss feeling a connection to some teams and the guaranteed gorgeous scenery. This race filled that hole for me.

I’m missing Amazing Race this summer so this was a very nice surprise to see pop up on Prime. I’ve never hear of Eco Racing before. The whole race reminded me of The Long Walk by Stephen King with teams dropping out constantly due to injuries. The book is about a “walk” that only ends when there’s one survivor. Emma from the Spanish team had my full attention. She’s a mother of 3, fire fighter, with a PhD in biochemistry?! That’s 3 people’s worth of lives to live! I was so impressed by her.

The women on this show make me so sad. First with Jenna saying she’s sorry and is in the wrong with Zach “but it’s weird that he went through my messages”. Um yea lady, that’s not something he should be allowed to do! How are you in the wrong?! And then Kailah observing the Purge game and saying “makes sense, it’s a dumpster because I’m trash”. Who says that about themselves? No self-respect at all.

You just blew my mind. That’s the Suck It drummer kid?!
