  1. I really enjoyed some of the side characters in this show mostly because of the actors that portrayed them - the AI butler made me laugh in every episode even though he usually has 1 line.
  2. My take on the last scene was that they did have sex. Claire made a whole speech how this will not be the thing that breaks her. Sex has always been one the best ways Claire and Jaime connected so she wanted to reclaim it for herself as a nonviolent act. That's why Jaime called her brave during that scene and she said she felt safe. One unintentional moment of comedy for me was the Indian asking if she knows who Ringo Starr is. Why not pick a more popular Beatle? I can't seem to remember what the orange symbolized. Was it in a past scene?
  3. I’m just glad we got closure for all the cliff hangers from last episode. As much rape as there is in this show, at least it’s taken as serious trauma and not dismissed like some other shows.
  4. Thin sweatpants was not a good choice for Bear during the make-out scene. Way too much erection for my comfort! I know it’s not nice to make fun of people but Wes’s impression of how Josh speaks cracked me up.
  5. I was going to scream if they left Bonnet on the beach. All that bickering over who gets to kill him and they leave it up to the courts?! Ok then. And at the end Bree still shoots him, could have saved a lot of time with all that. Any episode that’s short on Claire/Jamie interaction goes to the bottom of the list for me anyway.
  6. Maybe it's like in the movie Crank where you gotta get the adrenaline up 🙂
  7. I think it's BS that players in Purgatory can have the puzzles solved for them by the people in the stands. I like Jordan in general but what is that Amish getup he wears in his confessionals?
  8. Agreed, it was about their bond. Skin to skin contact is extremely important for newborns and mothers to solidify a bond so why not have it work in this case.
  9. How convenient that the buffalo wonders into their backyard, they didn’t have to carry all that meat across the Ridge. Nice engineering of the snake syringe, would have been some dark humor if Bree came in with that 5 minutes later.
  10. Either CT was gassed out from the start or he was too cocky that he'll win because it seemed like he was moving in slow motion. I always get second hand embarrassment from watching some of these women - Dee, Cara Maria, Nani...they're adults still acting like teenagers trying to make a guy jealous, being overly clingy. It's hard to watch.
  11. Is Wendy that oblivious to what's going on that she thought she and Navarro are partners?!
  12. I keep thinking the same thing, how is Roger not insisting on going back after all he has lived through? The past has not been kind to him and the war is coming. I think their kid is old enough to tell them if he hears the stones' buzzing. Time to go!
  13. I remember Jenn from Amazing Race and she was first out on that show as well...maybe reality tv isn't working so well for her.
  14. We watched this today and I thought it was a pretty good movie. I loved the brothers’ relationship, especially little moments like Barley feeding Ian cheetos as they’re walking. It reminded me a bit of Frozen with the sisters. I teared up several times, most surprisingly when Barley sacrificed his van. Loved the image of the parking tickets being like wings. I was a little sad for mom that she didn’t get to reunite with dad...that was kind of glossed over.
  15. I know Asaf from So You Think You Can Dance, he was a pretty good dancer with gymnastic-like moves. It’s really too bad that he was eliminated first, he was easy on the eyes and seems like he would put up a good fight. I love the rule that everyone has to go into elimination, can’t believe they didn’t do this sooner. And Johnny and Wes working together can make the season interesting. But I hate the bunker home. Watching them spend all the downtime inside a windowless gym doesn’t help me escape reality. I was hoping to see some lush tropical location just for a bit of escapism. And love or hate him but Johnny always has good commentary. I laughed when he said Asaf is built like an ice sculpture.
  16. I have no idea how the story goes in the books but I’ll be perfectly fine if Sam has the same body playing an 80-year-old. I watch the show to escape the depressing reality anyway.
  17. I’ll take a CYE episode over most other comedy shows these days. My favorite thing is watching it for moments when the actors break. Jeff did a good job breaking Larry in the locker room, that was a good laugh out loud moment. Richard Lewis is also on the show mostly to crack Larry up, love those moments. A spite house was the perfect ending for this season. I sure hope Larry comes back with another season based on the pandemic. I bet he’d really enjoy all the social distancing.
  18. Sam definitely looks a lot older. I’m rewatching Season 1 and he looks like a teenager compared to the current look. I miss his shaggy hair.
  19. I've been binge watching this show for the past couple of weeks and I finally caught up. I can now join the discussion, yay! Every time there is a scene between Roger and Bree, I'm upset that they're taking the time away from other characters. I don't like either of them and the acting is sub par. Having the sex scenes switch from couple to couple just showed me how much chemistry Sam and Caitriona have compared to the others.
  20. The 20 second delay had me cracking up, especially when the chaos caught up to earth. Never been a fan of Josh Gad but he actually had a couple of lines that made me laugh. Loved him weakly holding a fallen woman’s hand going “somebody should help her!”. I loved Veep so I have high hopes for this one, crossing my fingers.
  21. Yep, it’s in Forest Hills Gardens and the whole area is those kinds of houses. I walk by there often just to admire them.
  22. Ah sweet schadenfreude, watching Paulie and Cara fail in the final was all kinds of good tv. I do feel bad for Paulie because he looked completely out of it by the end, I've had heatstroke and dehydration before and being screamed at to keep going (with no water) must have been rough. Cara, however, acted like a baby...crying over a math problem and then the eating challenge. Zach had the right idea killing the worm first. I want to throw up just thinking about having to swallow a living thing and it slowly dying in me. Bleh!
  23. I’m all for a Jordan/Tori win. They’re both impressive competitors and don’t whine when it’s time to prove themselves. I also think their relationship is genuine and not just for cameras. It’d also be the cherry on top to see Cara lose to them.
  24. Hahahaha, I love watching Johnny lose. Sarah's Curse continues! Did he say that he planned to switch teams after the elimination? That could have been interesting to watch. The challenge itself was pretty dumb, the people who were able to hook on went the same distance as the people who just fell in.
  25. Every season has that one elimination challenge that doesn’t go the way you’d expect, this one was it. That was really fun to watch once Ninja figured out what happened. And props to her for doing it calmly and not hollering for TJ like most of them would. As far as the challenge, I legit LOLd when they showed Kyle’s manic face popping out of that large ball he was in.
