So CT is my favorite and I was sad to see him go out so early, but I do appreciate the fact that he recognizes he got out played. I looked at some interviews that were posted after the episode and he acknowledges he was coming in off a win and thought he would coast. He wants to come back and work hard to get to where he was before. It was a much more mature CT than in years past.

Poor Ryan Hansen. My first thought was Hey! It's Dick Casablancas. He will always be Dick Casablancas to me. I laughed at the women worrying they were going to be kidnapped by their Brendon. I thought this one was rather funny the way one tiny thing caused an entire cascade of information.

I'm glad they were able to give us a series finale, then. I prefer that to the sudden cancellation with no means to tie up any loose ends.

They've updated the bottom of this article. Filming for season 2 hasn't been started and now it is postponed due to COVID 19. I was hoping that they already had the season in the can and we'd get it early.

I thought the same thing. The top 3 teams were 2 guy/1 girl teams. The ones with 2 girls didn't stand a chance.

I thought that was an interesting line with her "Eve and Eve" granddaughter right there. I'm sure they didn't mean it to be a statement, but I took that line as maybe grandma isn't as good with the granddaughter and her sexuality as she professes to be. I was so glad to see Max back. I like that actor a lot.

Did Jackie and Becky even go to Bev about the Lunchbox before they started in on Darlene? I can't remember how that episode played out at all. POA doesn't mean Bev can't make her own decisions at all. Agree with all y'all on Darlene. She used to be my favorite, but more and more I like her less and less. I'm hoping she does not get pregnant with dude's baby. That would be awful. That's an ongoing frustration of mine on shows like this one. Community college IS a viable and even a great option, especially for those with lower incomes whose kids were not the most stellar in high school. Harris could show a commitment to classwork and grades getting her core out of the way and then transfer to a bigger school where, with better grades, more financial aid may be possible. I loved the Dan/Becky scene and I wish they'd do more of her guiding him through his new found widower status.

Same! I'm sure she won't win, but I do like her a lot.

Supermarket Stakeout - General Discussion

No. I think episode 1 or 2 was in Phoenix. I think it would be amusing to be approached, but I shop on the weekend and it is an expensive shop. Not this "I spent $75" thing they always show. 🙂 -
Flea Market Flip - General Discussion

Same... And probably the patience or skill either. 🙂 Although I did use the techniques I learned watching this show to recover a cheap Target storage ottoman that my dog chewed up the lid for. I've always wished they would show the really early seasons. They seem to only show from season 4/5 on and not 1 - 3. -
I didn't get the sense she is indifferent to him. To me it was almost the opposite. She was so freaked out about him showing up to her work because she wasn't ready to see him. She hadn't planned and prepared. She seems to want to be doing everything "just right" with him. Him showing up unannounced didn't give her the opportunity.

I'm a little on the fence about that given how by the book and relatively inflexible Dina is. I feel a little like it would be too similar to when Dwight got promoted when Michael was gone and he went off the deep end. I loved the customer safari, and Cheyenne cheating! That cracked me up. I worked in retail briefly (although not at a big box store). Patrons be crazy.

So I spent the whole episode frustrated they did the math wrong and MTV encouraged it. Order of operations says that you do the division problem first, then the addition and subtraction. CT is my favorite, but these younger, new guys look tough. This is not the CT who carried Johnny Bananas like a backpack. I've not seen seasons since 29, so I dont know the ones with the English (Australian?) accents, but I could listen to them talk all day. They make these rules so complicated. I watch and get so confused. I'm oddly disappointed to see an Amazing Race competitor on this show. I would think the Amazing Race folks are better than this.

While I think it's GiGi's to lose, I hope Just Jan is 4th. I think she's underrated by Ru and the folks. Although I fear it will be Aiden.

I kind of thought the black bodysuit was perfect with that cape. It let the cape shine, which was my interpretation of the challenge. She looked like a beautiful butterfly. But I've only watched seasons 1, 2 and 11 so I don't know too much about the judges' tastes. (I'm a new viewer and catching up)

I'd watch a show of Dina, her vet boyfriend and the birds. Marcus and some of the other background characters could make an occasional appearance.

I definitely agree with that, and I wished Amy (or Dina or Glenn) would have called her out on HR person name name. I honestly thought that Carol was just making that guy up. And even if she weren't, HR wouldn't/shouldn't have tolerated Carol's behavior. A workplace accommodation under ADA doesn't include allowing someone to bully other employees.

I'm a bit slow apparently, because until you posted this it never dawned on me that Ansel was part of the whole plan. I genuinely thought it was just girlfriend stuff and that mom was a total surprise. Dang, he's conniving.

Lego Masters (USA) - General Discussion
joanne3482 replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Lego Masters (USA)
You could definitely tell that they planned together. I think it helped that in some way their mini-figs were more easily relatable to each other. They were able to use the common ground of a city scene since their characters were every day people. The other team had more character-style people. A mummy and a robot/ computer programmer fighting are combining two different genres. They should have been able to do this and have been challenged to do that in the past, but since the boys were so hung up on the school idea, there wasn't a place where they could come together easily. I did like the obelisk they were fighting around. It did look cool and lent itself to providing the way the sky fighters were in the air. With 4 teams left the golden brick would always be a non-issue from a dramatic production standpoint. Even if they had stuck 2 figures on a single slab, they would have been in the top 2 so the show could have the drama of who is going home. If they announced the guys were in the bottom, the viewer automatically knew the other team would be going home. I like that they said that since they had the golden brick, they felt like they could take more creative liberties. I appreciate that on shows where there is some sort of immunity, when the person who has it will just throw something crazy out there because they can, sometimes the result is really interesting. I loved their pizza oven mutation device. I thought that was fun. -
Same. I like small town quirky communities. I loved that Mike called Knuckles 'Knuckles' which apparently is not his preferred nickname. I loved Lennon Parham's show Playing House, and I love seeing her here.

I don't remember getting them either. I couldn't find when flu shots became mainstream, because that is definitely something that pulls me out of the show, when I feel like they pull in something before it was really a thing. I did like Bow's fascination with medicine and her family supporting her interest.

I thought that was part of Kate's issue, she DIDN'T feel badly about it. She felt bad about killing him in the abstract, but she didn't feel badly about killing him. That's what was so frightening to her.

I'm kind of surprised Jerusha CAN be a stay at home mom. I'm not sure if they're still fostering, although the foster reimbursement is not nearly enough to cover everything the kid needs, but Glenn now working as an associate again means he's back to $10 or $15/hour (depending on if his years of experience there counts in his salary). That's only $32k a year before taxes and any benefits they have are taken out.

I did not remember that Kevin was way back in season 6 AND was with the Volt brothers and Jen. Now I'm trying to remember who I am mixing him up with. In theory, I have a trip to Hawaii coming up in late May. If we still get to go, I think I'll try to go to her restaurant since she is one of my favorites.

I will not enjoy that. I'm not enjoying living through it right now. I'm very sad thinking about all the people who really do live in the Connors' situation right now who are about to be in an even more precarious financial situation. I honestly don't want to see it play out on a sit-com. I'd be fine if we started in the fall with some exposition about how they fared over the summer.
