  1. And apparently doing a terrific job. Go, Alena. Now, there’s an experienced candidate I’d like to recommend for the CFO position...
  2. Just to be clear, the laughing reaction is to the starter and upgrade comment. The new one is yoooge. You don't even notice it until it's sitting next to the smaller one.
  3. She's an emo Queen. That's explanation enough for me. 😁
  4. Plus, that still leaves Will out and that's just too sad. I think I'm probably more invested in his well being than Mia's. I blame Ben for that.
  5. So this is the epusode she changes it? Good thing they released the pics, because the promo for this episode is a snooze.
  6. Did Mia kick all that ass in the old loft?
  7. Exact same thought popped into my head. 😁
  8. @SmallScreenDiva, I want to laugh at the first part of your post and cry at the second. No, I didn't notice Oliver's face falling. 😞
  9. Five times Oliver evaded Mia and one time he didn’t.
  10. Felicity looks just like she did at Dig’s wedding in the above shot. All that’s missing is Oliver mooning at her. Maybe from between the trees.
  11. Even if it’s not Oliver, kudos for the show for having someone so much like him fighting there when Mia decides to take a swing at it just for the emotional connection.
  12. Yup, both the fighting style and the physique resemble Oliver. And though the hair might be tactical in this case, it’s so tragic. Maybe there is a fate worse than death?
  13. I found it odd as well that they organized such a big gathering when she was ready to pop. I'm glad the season ended with that post script instead of being interrupted by her going into labor. Really beautiful woman, though. Talk about a glowing pregnant lady. Also, that update upthread reminded me how much better this season's proposal was than the last one. I still think that one was super odd.
  14. Meanwhile, Felicity got a hair cut. Taking this as confirmation that SC is a bitch to your looks among other things.
  15. I wouldn't call Nathaniel's decency performative, more like aware. It's not instinctual for him, he has to make that conscious choice to do good. Sort of like how an alcoholic has to make the choice not to have a drink. I don't think that takes away from his acts and he has stopped doing things to impress Rebecca. This episode he accepted the role in the play to be near her, but then he mostly stepped away and left her be. That episode before the break when Paula graduated, for instance, he texted Rebecca about it from Josh's cell and never said anything about it. It wasn't a performance and scoring, it was doing a nice thing for both Rebecca and Paula. That said, I agree about spending too much time on the love interests. Full disclosure, my choices are 1) Nathaniel, 2) no on. But I am not interested in a merry go round until the end. I'm extra suspicious about Josh since there was no movement in his direction yet.
  16. Good interview. I don't know if I even noticed the mural on the show. That's very impressive work Bobby and his teams are doing.
  17. I adore this about him. It’s always about dressing the body you have the best way possible, not about changing the body, muchless shaming.
  18. I’m with everyone that if Valencia wants to get married, being the one to propose is a logical step. And I hope Beth calls her out on that. I do think there is more than a smidge of the bolded in it as well. Valencia wants to be the pretty princess. There’s nothing wrong with that, but maybe Beth doesn’t want to be the pirate king. But I actually do expect this to play out by deconstructing Valencia’s expectations. And this is what Rebecca has been doing this season, including rejecting the song. On some level, the choice must have chafed. The director said they got the songs that fit their characters or how she saw them. Daniel the prince, Valencia the helpless princess, Tim the irrelevant extra, and Rebecca the broad who’s desperate for a man, but doesn’t think she deserves them. Sadly, Rebecca actually has been that, so yes, she needs to tear that song and script apart. I wish the director was slower on her feet getting to Daniel and we got to see more of his performance. I honestly can’t believe how much I like him now. He’s just so quietly and consistently solid. Never would have guessed the douchebag had it in him when he first showed up.
  19. I'm more than half way through, I think, just finished the sloth episode. Has Antoni always done the weird sad smolder thing? I'm finding it very odd this season. That dad had such a great smile. Once it came out, it was, yeah, now I get what your girlfriend sees in you. I have to admit that I sincerely hoped one of those infrequent showers came before they visited the clothing store. My favorite part of their makeover were the practicalities - the AC, the dark tees with logos that wouldn't show stains that much. Oh, and the niece getting her aunt to smile wide. ETA: Apparently I fell asleep last night and missed two episodes, Black Girl Magic and Elrod & Sons. And they're probably my favorites. I teared up multiple times during the latter and am so glad they left out the hip tip at the end of that episode. The dad has an excellent sense of humor and the kids are very cute. Thinking on it, I really love how respectful these guys are towards the people they help and how for someone it's exactly right to be on their own at that particular stage in their lives. It's never go out, meet someone and pair up. It's always get out there and let people see how great you are.
  20. Mia: "I can punch him now and later. Yeah, before seeing Roy, I assumed things were right in the world and Dinah joined Rene's shadowy kabal, and the show was no longer trying to gaslight me that they're the good guys. Still hoping this could be the case and Roy is just duped. Oh, young Zoe is great. Natural and vibrant.
  21. I do kind of have the image of William being on a date and Mia and Connor showing up because they need help. Will, exasperated: Date, meet my little sister and her annoying friend. Connor: Don't be that way. I'm your annoying friend too.
  22. Does anyone want Lucas in a fixed future timeline as well?
  23. That's very cute. I thought it was tongue in cheek precisely because of his wrestling match(es?). I've been wrong before, though.
  24. Think the episode has aired in all time zones by now, right? I love him!
  25. I’m going to watch the episode later, but the clips and gifs on Twitter really got me pumped. Ben Lewis is such a great find, I only saw one of his scenes so far, the one in which William and Mia listen to Felicity’s recording. That short moment when William just melts as Felicity starts to ramble is everything. It’s so Oliver and young William it almost made me tear up. Dig is back to being Felicity’s friend! *insert the Titanic 87 years gif* But what is this with Connor being BT’s kid? I don’t mind it in and of itself, but I am once again insenced that baby Sara got erased for nothing. Not even going into the nonsense of Dig’s bio kid growing into him in a possible future timeline.
