  1. I knew it was Tennessee but got the wrong city.
  2. If you like the original Ghosts, check out Horrible Histories, Yonderland, and Bill if you can find them. HH is on Hulu. The core group of Laurence Rickard, Jim Howik, Simon Farnby, Martha Howe-Dougles, Ben Willbond, and Mathew Baynton wrote and appeared in them all. Most of them also pop up in other series--Willbond was in an episode of Inside No. 9, for example, and Baynton guest starred on the US Ghosts.
  3. A box of HoHos is a single serving imo.
  4. Instaget on FJ and reminder of the delightful Arrogant Worms and their song, "History is Made by Stupid People." Pertinent lyrics: The Hindenburg was a giant zepplin Its makers made a minor oversight Before they filled it up with explosive gas They should have fixed the no-smoking light
  5. The stream I watched removed the counting music so I didn't even have time to finish reading the question before answers were revealed.
  6. I don't blame her even if she took the part because she thought it was funny. I think it's hilarious.
  7. There were a couple of TWoP forums I avoided after awhile. The one I remember best was Angel where the mod hated Wesley so you'd better, too, if you were going to post there. I witnessed a poster getting banned solely for asking another (Wesley neutral) poster to explain why they'd said something negative about the character--a specific remark not a general Wesley sucks post--like what is the part of the episode you mean, what action. I was also snarked at once by a mod and it made me see red because of course if I replied in kind I would've been banned.
  8. We have a fax machine at work solely because of that. It's ridiculous. I often have to instruct students and sometimes younger faculty on how to use it.
  9. I said Hansberry. It's always Princeton.
  10. The version I was watching flashed FJ so quickly on the screen and then cut to the answers that I had no idea what the answer was.
  11. Colonel Flagg always made me laugh.
  12. Person of Interest was prescient, I love it, and am still bitter over its cancellation. I only wish someone other than Caviezel played Reese.
  13. Thanks all, @shapeshifter and @stewedsquash. It probably was an in-house illustrator. I really like the colors and thought maybe I could find a poster.
  14. Tineye and Google image search have failed me. Does anyone know what painting this is from? There's no attribution in the planner. I'm guessing a detail from Monet but haven't found anything that matches.
  15. A Cooper's hawk used to visit my yard a lot when I was feeding birds. It's the striped tail that makes them identifiable so good thing I was listening to the clue and not looking at the screen.
  16. During a 3 day power outage many years ago, I spent the evenings learning several forms of solitaire because cards and illustrations in a book were the only things I could really see by candlelight.
  17. It depends on other conditions but cross stitch, jigsaw, reading.
  18. due South was ahead of its time in combining drama and comedy. I just found "North", one of the best episodes, and I'm howling at the ghost dads. It's been years since I've watched an episode and I'd forgotten how much I loved it.
  19. I could only think of Endeavor but knew it was Cook.
  20. The You're Wrong About podcast ran a series of episodes about the trial: https://podyssey.fm/list/id37804-Youre-wrong-about-O-J-Series
  21. I knew where FJ was but couldn't think of the name. Hellespont? Dardanelles? Bosporus? Close but no cigar.
  22. That's exactly how I knew. He's 96 today, btw, and put all his songs into the public domain years ago. ❤️
  23. It's mostly cloudy here, too, as always when there's something interesting happening in the sky. It's getting a little dim now. We're supposed to get 90+% coverage around 3:30.
  24. Gordon Lightfoot's name couldn't be more Canadian if it was Bob or Doug McKenzie. One of my favorite moments from Psych was Pierre referring to his stint in a Canadian prison with the phrase "a Coffee Crisp and 20 guys named Gord."
