  1. So sad that Michael is leaving -- he's my favorite character -- but Rockmund Dunbar deserves better than what little he was given to do on this show. The rationale was weak. Going to help hurricane survivors isn't a permanent gig. Maybe they think the show is winding down. I'm guessing we can expect "Ravi Begins" sometime soon? Oh well, this changes everything I just wrote.
  2. How does Darlene keep getting guys? They aren't losers either -- well, not until they hook up with Darlene.
  3. Actually, I transposed their names in my spoiler. 🤦‍♀️ Just fixed it!
  4. I'm skeptical too! Just thought I'd share.
  5. I read an article last week and I can't recall where I saw it. I have no idea whether it was a reliable source (I had never heard of it), but it explained Samantha's absence this way... I feel as though if this angle had come out, it would be more widely reported, unless I totally missed it.
  6. This episode failed to hold my interest. My takeaway was that the unprofessional staff got to keep their jobs and the ones who conduct themselves professionally were fired.
  7. He's also replaced Chris Harrison as the host of the upcoming season of The Bachelor. I like him, too! He's Canadian and while I know it's a stereotype, Canadians always seem to be so nice! He's the most enjoyable host for this show IMO.
  8. I watched S1 on Lifetime and I found the finale so disturbing that I waited months to watch S2, waffling on whether I even wanted to. In S3, this has morphed into a dark comedy for the most part, possibly with the exception of the very farfetched ending. I think what takes me out of this show is I find Joe unattractive, so I don't know how he's always able to reel in the damsel-in-distress du jour. I realize he stalks them to find out what they need so he can pretend to be it, but physically, he is unappealing IMO. I do think PB is excellent in the role and the voice-overs (I guess he can thank Gossip Girl for honing those skills). I would have preferred Joe and Love to continue straying and reconciling as they realized they were two sides of the same coin. I'm not sure what they'll do with S4, but watching Joe continue the pattern of infatuation/disappointment/murder isn't particularly interesting.
  9. Speaking of voices, Paula Jones still sounds the same. If I were Monica I think I would have cried in that interview giving all those personal details. When Sarah Paulson removed her glasses she looked even more like Linda Tripp. It was eerie!
  10. I agree. Ben is there way too much and if they wanted to keep him in the picture at the Connor household, the two of them shouldn't have broken up. It makes no sense that he'd spend all his free time there.
  11. Having only watched the first three episodes of Season 3, I have to wonder if the show has decided to become a black comedy? There were dark humor elements in previous seasons (mostly from Joe's inner monologue) but It seems as though this season is veering toward full camp.
  12. In the pilot he said he was a music major.
  13. I miss the wacky Halloween episodes from past seasons.
  14. Since Reggie is not medically cleared to play, how he is going to keep up the pretense that he's returning to the NFL? What did I miss? This show has heart. I'm enjoying it more and more each week. But I could have done without Monica's mushrooms and the stupid shrimp thing.
  15. MM was listed in the opening credits as a guest star so I figured she wasn't long for this world. She was quite terrible on One Tree Hill IMO. Better on The Village, and I liked her just fine in this.
  16. Scott Foley on Episode 6 (contains spoilerish stuff)
  17. So while Amy is being vetted as a candidate, she sleeps with Bobby. Makes total sense.
  18. In our household we're pretty much feeling the "NAH" when it comes to continuing to watch this show.
  19. That seems awfully time-consuming!
  20. The two sets of parents co-wrote a book about the experience. It was very touching.
  21. My understanding of this plotline was that it turned out to be a commentary on the gun violence epidemic in the U.S.. All of the GSW patients began to run together. That we are almost becoming immune to shootings because they happen so often. (As an aside, I've read that gun ownership in the U.S. skyrocketed in 2020). When I find I have no characters to root for in a show, I stop watching. I really don't like any of the main characters here anymore. Floyd is my favorite, but now that he's involved with a married woman (whose husband seems to be MIA) I just can't with him. It's a poor choice. Iggy has become virtually unwatchable.
  22. Maybe, but I tend to think most mega-successful musicians knew they wanted a music career by age 22. Most had already started their music careers by then.
  23. I hope Rocker Joe is a better singer than Nurse Joe, because oof. Rocker Joe's storyline is not believable to me. A music major who is still undecided at college graduation about what to pursue becomes a mega rock star in 10 years? And is still with the woman he met at graduation? And she herself has a very well developed career after 10 years (age 22-32 or so) with a rock star who presumably spent lots of that time on tour? That is a lot to handwave.
  24. I really don't understand this at all. He didn't go the lake that weekend, so he didn't deserve to know about his child and he never saw Jenny again? This makes no sense to me. I agree with those who said two storylines would have been better a la Sliding Doors. It's confusing tracking three of them. I really don't want to have to think too hard during my primetime viewing.
  25. I thought the writing for this episode was weak. And it's been bothering me since last week that Jackie and Mark have the same hair color now. But since they retconned the finale... 🤔
