While it is wonderful that Chris was able to lose so much weight without surgery, I'm concerned that he's headed far to the other end of the spectrum and could become anoxeric. The fact that he was able to fast for five days at a time makes me think he's punishing himself by denying food. Once he reaches Dr. Now's goal for healthy weight, he could continue to starve himself beyond it. He seemed very self-aware at the therapy session with Dr. Paradise and I hope he continues to seek psychological help.

Over on the 90 Day Fiancé “Darcey and Stacey” spinoff forum I mentioned something about Dr Paradise. It turns out that a poster there used to go to therapy with him. But the biggest shock was that she was on a dating website and was contacted by none other than Dr NOW HIMSELF!

If I wasn’t familiar with the show, I’d be afraid 600LbDoctor was HIS weight! And I wouldn’t want to explain my eating habit to him every damn day! You were smart to decline. But I find the idea of pairing him with Darcey to be quite intriguing.

I have been reluctant to wear sunscreen on my face because it burns my eyes but since I had a large basal cell carcinoma removed from the side of my nose, the plastic surgeon is adamant I use something. It turns out the ingredient that causes eye burning is called avobenzate and it’s in “chemical” sunscreens. It was the first ingredient listed in what I had been using! The doctor said to switch to a “mineral” sunscreen but the zinc or titanium oxide leaves a white cast to my face. That’s why I’m trying out different brands.

Thanks, I’ve seen that brand on Amazon. I’ll look into it
